- Akademik Koşullar
- Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree, three-year university diploma, or a suitable foreign qualification recognised for access to a comparable second-cycle programme. The standard qualifying class is L-30 Physics under Italian Ministerial Decree 270. Other degrees may be recognised if the applicant has obtained at least 25 CFU across the listed sectors PHYS-01/A, PHYS-02/A, PHYS-03/A, PHYS-04/A, PHYS-05/A, PHYS-05/B, PHYS-06/A, PHYS-06/B, GEOS-04/A, GEOS-04/B, GEOS-04/C, MATH-01/A, MATH-01/B, MATH-02/A, MATH-02/B, MATH-03/A, MATH-03/B, MATH-04/A, MATH-05/A, MATH-06/A, and INFO-01/A or IINF-05/A, with at least 18 CFU in PHYS and GEOS-04, at least 6 CFU in PHYS-02/A, PHYS-03/A, and PHYS-04/A, and no more than 6 CFU in INFO-01/A or IINF-05/A. Foreign qualifications are assessed for equivalent background, including basic university-level knowledge of classical and modern physics, mathematical analysis, algebra, and geometry. Applicants may apply before graduation, but the qualifying degree must be obtained by 2026-12-31.
- Dil Koşulları
- English proficiency at least at CEFR B2 is required. The official 2026/2027 sources allow applicants to satisfy this through a recognised certificate or by passing the programme's published language test. The programme enrolment page also lists accepted evidence including a degree taught entirely in English, a transcript showing a CEFR B2 English exam, native-speaker status, a B2 certificate issued by a university language centre or another recognised certifying body, or the Unibo CLA Oxford English test.
- Sınav / Test
- There is no separate written entrance exam. Admission depends on the committee's verification of personal competencies and skills through the submitted documentation, and the committee may also require an individual remote interview. The committee checks whether the applicant has the academic background required by the programme; candidates whose preparation is judged unsuitable are not admitted.

- Qualification document for admission: the University of Bologna self-certification for Unibo applicants, self-certification of the first-cycle qualification with exams for applicants from another Italian university, or for foreign qualifications the degree copy translated into Italian or English with transcript of records and Diploma Supplement where available.
- Self-certification or certification of B2-level English knowledge.

- Copy of a valid residence permit, if already held.
