- Applicants need a bachelor's degree, three-year university diploma, or suitable foreign qualification. For both curricula, eligible degree classes include L-2/1 Biotechnology, L-13/12 Biological Sciences, L-38/40 Animal Science and Technologies for Animal Production, and LM-42/47-S Veterinary Medicine. Applicants from other degree classes are also eligible if they have at least 24 CFU in Area 05 Biological Sciences, at least 8 CFU in Area 06 Medical Sciences and Area 07 Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, and at least 8 CFU in Area 01 Mathematics and Informatics, Area 02 Physics, Area 03 Chemical Sciences, and Area 13 Economics and Statistics. Foreign qualifications are assessed for equivalence. Applicants may apply before graduating but must obtain the degree by 2026-12-31.

- For the Comparative Biotechnologies curriculum, applicants must prove English at CEFR B2 or higher, either with a recognized certificate, by passing the University of Bologna OOPT at B2 or above, or with another officially accepted route such as a prior qualification taught in English. The Italian-taught curriculum notice does not state a separate language certificate requirement, but any oral interview is conducted in Italian.
- Sınav / Test
- No written entrance exam is stated. For Comparative Biotechnologies, applicants with foreign qualifications may be invited to an oral interview in English; the examination committee assigns up to 30 points and at least 18/30 is required. For the Italian-taught curriculum, the committee may require an oral interview in Italian on university-level biochemistry, cytology, biology, cell physiology, molecular biology, genetics, histology, and basic laboratory knowledge.
