- Applicants need a bachelor's degree, three-year university diploma, or another foreign qualification recognized as suitable. Accepted Italian degree classes are L-5, L-6, L-10, L-11, L-12, L-20, L-33, L-36, L-37, L-40, L-42, and DS/1, plus equivalent classes from previous systems. Applicants from other degree classes can meet the curricular requirement by holding at least 48 ECTS in the subject groups listed in the call, including SPS/01, SPS/03, SPS/04, SPS/05, SPS/06, SPS/07, SPS/08, SPS/11, SPS/14, SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-S/01, SECS-S/04, SECS-S/05, M-FIL/06, M-GGR/01, M-GGR/02, M-PSI/05, M-STO/02, M-STO/03, M-STO/04, IUS/13, IUS/14, IUS 20, L-LIN/19, and L-LIN/21. For foreign qualifications, the International Academic Board checks correspondence with the Italian requirement or verifies possession of equivalent credits. Students not yet graduated may still enrol only if they complete the degree by 2026-12-31.

- English proficiency at CEFR B2 is mandatory. The programme accepts certificates listed in the AICLU equivalence table, IELTS Academic Online at least 5.5, TOEFL paper-based at least 550, Trinity GESE at least 7, and a B2 English certificate issued by a university language centre in Italy or abroad, provided the certificate was issued no more than three years before the application deadline. Candidates without an accepted certificate may use the programme-specific OOPT route before the relevant intake deadline. Exemptions are available for documented native English speakers from the listed countries, applicants whose degree was taught entirely in English, and applicants with IB, high-school, or GCE studies taught at least 50% in English.
- Sınav / Test
- Admission is competitive and limited to 50 places. After verification of curricular and language requirements, eligible candidates undergo assessment of their personal preparation through a mandatory online interview plus evaluation of academic merit and any additional academic, internationalization, or documented non-academic experiences. The interview checks consistency between the applicant's educational and cultural background and the programme's learning objectives and joint-degree structure. The overall suitability threshold is 50/100.

- Front and back copy of a valid identity document; if the identity document is not translated into English, a copy of the passport.
- For University of Bologna applicants: the system self-certification of the previous or current academic career, or another document certifying the obtained or expected qualification.
- For applicants from another Italian university: the access qualification must be declared in the application, and the table of passed courses must be completed with the already recorded courses.
- For applicants with a foreign qualification: a copy of the qualification, transcript of records, and Diploma Supplement where available; if not yet graduated, the transcript of records; plus evidence of the grading system if that is not already clear from the transcript, Diploma Supplement, or admission form.
- Proof of English proficiency at least at B2 level, or documentation supporting one of the exemption conditions listed in the call.
