• Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree. Direct curricular access is granted to graduates of the Italian classes L-18, L-33, L-36, or L-37 with a final grade of at least 90/110. Applicants from other degree classes may still be admitted if they have earned at least 18 CFU distributed across the required areas: economics/statistics (at least 6 and no more than 12 CFU), law (no more than 12 CFU), and political science (no more than 12 CFU). Applicants who meet all admission requirements except final completion of the bachelor's degree may enrol conditionally. The programme committee may also review careers and qualifications individually and decide on direct admission, conditional admission, or refusal.
• Foreign title pre-check: For applicants using a foreign entry qualification, the University of Pavia Admission Office evaluates the documentation and communicates the official admission outcome. The central master's application page states that applicants upload an identity document and a bachelor's degree diploma issued in English, Spanish, or French, or officially translated into Italian.

The course website states that this is verified either by at least 6 CFU in English-language teaching (L-LIN/10, L-LIN/11, or L-LIN/12) or by a certification or attestation of English proficiency at B2 level or above. • Language requirement exemption or alternative: The English requirement can be met either through prior university coursework in English language teaching worth at least 6 CFU or through an English certificate/attestation at B2 level or above.

• For applicants with a foreign entry qualification, the official master's application page requires at least an identity document and a bachelor's degree diploma issued in English, Spanish, or French, or officially translated into Italian. For applicants with an Italian entry qualification, the official 2026/2027 open-access master's admissions page requires a valid identity document, first-cycle degree data, tax code, and a signed self-certification of exams taken in the bachelor's career showing date, scientific-disciplinary sector, CFU, grades, any final degree grade, and years of enrolment; it also allows additional programme-specific documentation if requested. The official sources consulted do not publish a more detailed SERI-specific document checklist for 2026/2027.
