For applicants with a foreign qualification to open-access programmes, the university-wide 2026/2027 windows are 12-20 November 2025, 12-20 January 2026, 10-18 March 2026, 5-11 June 2026, and 1-8 September 2026. For applicants with an Italian qualification, the open-enrollment period for this programme is 14 May 2026 to 1 October 2026; late enrollment is allowed from 2 October to 16 December 2026 with a penalty.
For non-EU applicants residing abroad with a foreign qualification, the official open-access windows are 12-20 November 2025, 12-20 January 2026, 10-18 March 2026, and 5-11 June 2026; the March and June windows are available only if places remain. The 1-8 September 2026 window is only for EU applicants and non-EU applicants residing in Italy.
Visa/pre-enrolment deadline: For non-restricted programmes in 2026/2027, non-EU applicants residing abroad must complete Universitaly pre-enrollment and visa application by 25 May 2026 for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd windows, and by 20 July 2026 for the 4th window.
Applicants need a secondary school diploma or another foreign qualification recognized as suitable by the University of Pavia. For applicants with a foreign school qualification, the university-wide bachelor's procedure also requires a secondary school diploma awarded after at least 12 years of schooling and, if the school system requires it for university entry, proof of passing the academic eligibility exam. Initial preparation is checked through a compulsory but non-selective entrance assessment; any additional educational obligations (OFA) must be completed in the first year.
Foreign title pre-check: Applicants with a foreign school qualification must apply through apply.unipv.eu for title pre-evaluation. The University Admission Office evaluates the documentation after application and communicates the official admission response. Non-EU applicants residing abroad also need Universitaly pre-enrollment for the visa.
English B2. The programme page states that B2 must be demonstrated by a language certificate, completion of a secondary school programme taught in English, or an entrance test. The University of Pavia 2026/2027 Annex II also lists the programme among courses entirely taught in English with recognised level B2.
Language requirement exemption or alternative: The programme page accepts alternatives to an external B2 certificate: completion of a secondary school programme taught in English or an entrance test. For non-EU students, the university-wide Italian-language assessment is not required for programmes entirely taught in English.
A compulsory but non-selective entrance assessment is required to verify general knowledge and initial preparation. The programme page says participation in a non-selective entrance test is required, and the general admissions page says open-access bachelor's programmes require a compulsory but non-selective initial assessment that may assign OFA if not passed.
Selection criteria: No ranking or competitive selection is stated on the consulted official sources. Admission is open access, subject to recognition of the prior qualification, verification of the English requirement, and completion of the compulsory non-selective initial assessment.
Application stage for foreign qualifications: identity document, secondary school diploma, and, if the origin school system requires it, proof of passing the academic eligibility exam; applicants must also provide evidence of English B2 through a certificate, proof that the secondary school programme was taught in English, or the programme's entrance-test route. Visa pre-enrollment stage for non-EU applicants residing abroad: passport, photocard, secondary school diploma, and admission letter or conditional offer letter. Enrollment-finalization stage for foreign qualifications: the diploma issued in English, Spanish, or French or officially translated into Italian, legalization where applicable, and either a Declaration of Value, a CIMEA Statement of Comparability, or an ARDI Statement of Correspondence, plus the academic eligibility test certificate if required by the country of origin and visa/residence documentation where applicable.
Application fee: EUR 35 application fee for the apply.unipv.eu application route.
No programme-specific 2026/2027 seat quota breakdown was found on the allowed sources. The separate course website exists but was not used because it falls outside the task's allowed-source list, so `official_course_website_url` is left empty. `application_portal` mentions the separate student-portal workflow only generically because the direct portal URL is outside the allowed-source list for this task. `admission_rounds` is mapped from the official university-wide open-access application calendar because no separate 2026/2027 programme-specific call page was found on an allowed source.
