• Applicants must hold a three-year bachelor's degree, a university diploma, or another foreign qualification deemed acceptable. Admission is also open to candidates who will obtain the degree by December 15, 2026, provided that EU-degree applicants already have at least 120 ECTS needed for the final degree and non-EU-degree applicants have at least 65% of the ECTS needed for graduation. For Italian degree holders, the minimum curricular requirement is 88 CFU/ECTS in at least 7 psychology scientific sectors from M-PSI/01 to M-PSI/08. For applicants with a foreign qualification, the bachelor's degree is evaluated by comparison with the Italian bachelor's degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques (L-24) and/or the Europsy certificate. The official programme page also states that any 10 ECTS of TPV practical evaluation traineeship completed in a foreign bachelor's degree may be recognized as equivalent; if not recognized, the missing TPV credits must be acquired during the two-year master's programme as extra credits.
• Foreign title pre-check: For applicants with a foreign title, the bachelor's degree is evaluated by comparison with the Italian bachelor's degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques (L-24) and/or the Europsy certificate. Candidates with a foreign academic degree who are admitted to enroll must also submit the requested enrollment documents, and non-EU applicants residing abroad must request a study visa through Universitaly by August 31, 2026 after the University's validation of pre-enrollment.

• English at B2 level in written and oral form is required. The 2026/2027 call states that candidates are required to have a suitable linguistic certificate, preferably submitted during selection, but that the English certificate is not mandatory and is recommended rather than compulsory. • There is no fixed written admission test stated in the 2026/2027 call. Admission is based on evaluation of academic titles and other documents, and the Commission may require an online interview to verify adequate personal preparation. The programme page confirms that enrollment follows three phases: evaluation of titles, publication of ranking lists, and enrollment until places are filled.
• Selection criteria: The Commission assigns up to 100 points: up to 50 points for the previous academic curriculum, including suitability of the degree, evaluation of single exams, grade average, and for Italian-university applicants the possession of the required 88 CFU; and up to 50 points for other titles, including CV, possible interview, reference letters, and motivation letters. Candidates must obtain at least 50 points in total to be eligible to enroll. In case of equal score, priority is given to the younger candidate.
• Seat quota: For A.Y. 2026/2027 the call publishes 140 total seats: 70 seats for EU students and non-EU students legally residing in Italy, and 70 seats for non-EU students residing abroad. By curriculum, Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience has 35 EU/non-EU-in-Italy seats and 35 non-EU-abroad seats; Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience has 35 EU/non-EU-in-Italy seats and 35 non-EU-abroad seats. Seats not occupied by non-EU applicants are reassigned to the EU and non-EU-in-Italy quota.

• During the evaluation request, candidates graduating or enrolled in Italian universities must upload a self-certificate of exams with dates, SSD, number of CFUs, marks, possible graduation mark, and certificate of enrollment years; any self-declaration proving access requirements obtained in another study path; an internationally recognized English certificate proving B2 level if available; and a valid ID. Candidates must also indicate the chosen curriculum and may select up to two curriculum choices in priority order.
