Applicants need a bachelor's degree. Holders of an Italian degree must have at least 88 CFU, distributed across all eight psychology disciplinary sectors: PSIC-01/A, PSIC-01/B, PSIC-01/C, PSIC-02/A, PSIC-03/A, PSIC-03/B, PSIC-04/A and PSIC-04/B. A foreign qualification must be issued by a legally recognized university or post-secondary higher-education institution, must permit access to second-cycle university study in the issuing system, and is assessed by the Selection Committee for suitability. Applicants with foreign qualifications must already hold the degree when pre-registering. The international application page warns that applicants without a psychology degree or a substantial number of psychology examinations are very unlikely to pass selection and discourages unrelated backgrounds.
English at CEFR B2 is mandatory for admission to selection and must be proved by an accepted certificate obtained no more than five years before the admission academic year or by an eligible Medium of Instruction certificate for a completed degree taught entirely in English. Non-native Italian speakers additionally need Italian B1 for entry and B2 because practical training and the final Practical Evaluation Test are conducted in Italian. B1 must be demonstrated or passed through the University's assessment by 30 Eylül 2026; B2 must be demonstrated or assessed by 2 Mart 2027. Failure to meet either Italian deadline results in cancellation of enrolment.
Yes. The 2026/27 selection has two stages: academic merit worth up to 70 points and an evaluation test worth up to 30 points. Eligibility requires at least 72/100, after which admission follows ranking and available places.
