A bachelor's degree or equivalent suitable foreign qualification is required. Holders of an Italian bachelor's degree in L-18, L-33, former class 17, or former class 28 qualify by degree class; they are directly admitted with a final grade of at least 81/110 and otherwise undergo an interview. Holders of other Italian degree classes need at least 48 ECTS across Economics, Business and Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Law and/or Sociology; they are directly admitted with at least 81/110 and otherwise undergo an interview. For students not yet graduated, the grade criterion is met by a weighted bachelor's examination average of at least 22/30. International and foreign-qualification candidates are individually assessed and interviewed.
English at CEFR B2 or equivalent is required. For the programme-specific route, B2 can also be evidenced by at least 6 ECTS of English in the bachelor's degree, at least six months living or working in an English-speaking country, or at least six months attending a university course abroad taught in English. International applicants who do not submit acceptable English certification with pre-application are required to take an English-language test.
There is no competitive entrance examination. An online oral admission interview is used to assess preparation for international/foreign-qualification applicants and other candidates falling within the programme's interview rules. Interview topics may cover the basic mathematical, econometric and economic background specified on the prospective-students page. International applicants without acceptable English evidence must also take an English-language test.
