Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree in class L-7 Civil and Environmental Engineering, L-8 Information Engineering, L-9 Industrial Engineering, or L-23 Building Science and Technology, or an equivalent/suitable foreign qualification. They must have adequate foundations in engineering, particularly mechanical engineering, and at least 24 CFU earned across at least three of the nine specified mechanical-engineering disciplinary sectors. Every application is evaluated individually by the responsible programme committee, which verifies the curricular conditions and the applicant's personal preparation.

The programme-specific 2026/27 course page and its official DreamApply record state English at CEFR B1 as the minimum admission prerequisite. However, the UniBG 2026/27 future-student guide says applicants to English-taught master's programmes must provide recognized B2 English evidence or qualifying medium-of-instruction evidence. Because the official sources conflict, applicants using the international route should satisfy B2 unless UniBG confirms otherwise .

No competitive entrance examination is published. After access requirements are evaluated, the applicant must undergo the programme's interview/test for verification of initial preparation; foreign-qualification applicants already interviewed during pre-evaluation are excluded from repeating it.

• Descriptions of major-area courses, including relevant contents, themes, aims and objectives

• Valid passport showing full name, photograph and signature

• At least one reference
