The didactic regulation Art. 5 comma 1 only reserves to the Didactic Coordination Commission the theoretical power to introduce 'l'eventuale programmazione delle iscrizioni' in future years; no such programming has been published for 2026/2027. corsi.unina.it/D18, the SUA-CdS 2026 sections that Federico II publishes online, the MOVE programme site and the 2025-2026 brochure all contain no intake number. Treat as 'no published cap' rather than as a confirmed unlimited intake. | Seats (non-EU reserved): Not published per programme. In addition, the bachelor must include AT LEAST 12 CFU/ECTS in the following SSD: ING-IND/08 Macchine a fluido (Fluid Machines), ING-IND/09 Sistemi per l'energia e l'ambiente (Energy and Environment Systems), ING-IND/10 Fisica tecnica industriale (Applied Physics), ING-IND/12 Misure meccaniche e termiche (Mechanical and Thermal Measurements), ING-IND/13 Meccanica applicata alle macchine (Mechanical Engineering Applied to Machinery), ING-IND/14 Progettazione meccanica e costruzione di macchine (Mechanical Design and Machine Construction), ING-IND/15 Disegno e metodi dell'ingegneria industriale (Design and Methods for Industrial Engineering), ING-IND/16 Tecnologie e sistemi di lavorazione (Technologies and Manufacturing Systems), ING-IND/17 Impianti industriali meccanici (Industrial Mechanical Plants). ROUTE 2 - a three-year degree in another Italian scientific or technological class (L-7 Ingegneria civile e ambientale, L-30 Scienze e tecnologie fisiche, L-31 Scienze e tecnologie informatiche, L-35 Scienze matematiche) OR A FOREIGN QUALIFICATION (for example a B.Sc. or B.Eng.) in a scientific or technological field, provided the Didactic Coordination Commission recognises it as suitable ('purche riconosciuto idoneo dalla Commissione di Coordinamento Didattico'). Route 2 candidates must guarantee BOTH: at least 36 CFU/ECTS across INF/01 Informatica (Computer Science), ING-INF/05 Sistemi di elaborazione delle informazioni (Information Processing Systems), MAT/03 Geometria (Geometry), MAT/05 Analisi matematica (Calculus), FIS/01 Fisica sperimentale (Experimental Physics)
• AND at least 12 CFU/ECTS in the ING-IND/08 to ING-IND/17 list above. PERSONAL PREPARATION: compulsory for everyone. Route 1 holders are exempted from further assessment if the CFU-weighted average of their exam marks (including any assigned curricular integrations) is not lower than 24/30. Candidates below that threshold have their request examined by the CCD, which may look at marks in characterising or otherwise relevant courses, may set interviews or tests ('colloqui, test'), or may apply option C below. Route 2 holders are assessed by the CCD on the curricular requisites actually held, and the Commission may require a curricular supplement chosen among: (A) curricular integrations to be completed BEFORE enrolment, under art. 6 comma 1 of DM 16 March 2007, by enrolling in single courses at the University and passing the related exams (see unina.it/-/5601348-iscrizione-ai-corsi-singoli)

ENGLISH B2 IS AN ACCESS REQUIREMENT (not merely a graduation requirement). The didactic regulation Art. 4 closes the curricular-requirements article with: 'per l'accesso e richiesta la conoscenza della lingua inglese, almeno ad un livello comparabile al B2 del Quadro di Riferimento Europeo per le Lingue con certificazione rilasciata dall'Ateneo o da ente accreditato'. The orientamento.unina.it profile states the same in English: 'Knowledge of English is required for access, at least at a level comparable to B2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages with certification issued by the University or by an accredited body.' The programme overview text used across unina.it, orientamento.unina.it, the MOVE site and the official Study Guide repeats: 'Teaching is provided in English and a B2 certification is required for enrolment.' The 2025-2026 brochure states: 'The programme is delivered entirely in English; therefore, a minimum English language proficiency at the B2 level is required for enrollment.' TWO ACCEPTED ROUTES: (a) a certificate from an accredited body - unina.it's Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA) works with Cambridge (Key/Preliminary/First/Advanced/Proficiency), IELTS, ETS (TOEFL family), and Pearson PTE Academic, among others; (b) a certification issued by the University itself, in practice the CLA 'placement test lingua inglese requisito di accesso LM' (B2 level) run for the Master's programmes of the Collegio di Ingegneria, with booking calendars published by the engineering departments. NO EXHAUSTIVE MINIMUM-SCORE TABLE (e.g. a specific IELTS band or TOEFL score) is published by the programme - the requirement is expressed as CEFR B2 with an accredited certificate. ITALIAN: not required. international.unina.it states for English-taught programmes that 'level B2 Italian language proficiency is not required', adding only that an international English certificate 'is useful for the issue of the visa by the diplomatic/consular Representation'.

NO written entrance examination, NO TOLC, NO SAT, NO national or local admission test, and no ranked selection. Admission is documentary. What can be required instead: (1) COMPULSORY PERSONAL-PREPARATION VERIFICATION for every candidate who meets the curricular requirements. For L-9/L-8 graduates this is automatically satisfied by a CFU-weighted average of at least 24/30; only candidates who fail that threshold face an individual assessment by the Didactic Coordination Commission, which may - at its discretion and with unquestionable judgement - examine the transcript, or set up 'modalita di accertamento (colloqui, test)' i.e. interviews or tests, or assign an alignment study plan. For route-2 / foreign-degree candidates the Commission evaluates the curricular requisites and may require curricular integrations (options A/B/C described in academic_requirements). (2) ENGLISH B2 EVIDENCE: either a certificate from an accredited body, or a certification issued by the University itself - in practice the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA) placement test for the B2 access requirement of the Engineering Master's degrees, which the Polytechnic and Basic Sciences School / Collegio di Ingegneria departments announce with their own booking calendar. (3) FOR NON-EU CANDIDATES RESIDING ABROAD: an evaluation of suitability performed by the university on the Universitaly dossier before the visa. The MOVE site describes it as: 'The university shall receive an invitation to evaluate applicant suitability to enroll to the study course. Upon approval of the university (acceptance letter), Universitaly shall activate the Italian Embassy/Consulate.' The dossier that is evaluated must include personal documents, passport, transcript of records, CV and recommendation letters. No public interview schedule or scored rubric is published for MOVE.

• • Three overlapping lists are published; no single consolidated MOVE checklist for 2026/2027 exists. (1) FOR THE UNIVERSITALY PRE-ENROLMENT (non-EU residing abroad) - from the MOVE 'Orient yourself' page: in the application the candidate must indicate 'Universita degli Studi di Napoli Federico II' and choose the degree programme 'Master (laurea magistrale) in Autonomous Vehicle Engineering (MOVE)', specify the Embassy/Consulate for the entry visa, and 'must upload personal documents, passport, transcript of records, CV, recommendation letters and all considered important for the evaluation of the request'. (2) TO TAKE TO THE ITALIAN EMBASSY - from international.unina.it: the summary of the pre-enrolment application submitted through Universitaly and validated by the university; any language competence certificates; the documents required for the visa application including a health insurance policy where applicable; the required documents if you hold a foreign qualification. Visa prerequisites include proven means of subsistence of EUR 10,179.85 per year, funds for repatriation (a return ticket is accepted), suitable accommodation and adequate medical insurance. (3) FOR THE FINAL ENROLMENT (matriculation) - international.unina.it lists: copy of passport; application form
  • 1 passport photo; tax code (codice fiscale); residence permit (or proof of having applied for it)
  • Declaration of Value issued by the Italian Embassy in the country where the degree was obtained OR a certificate of validity/comparability issued by an ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA) - with the standing warning 'always check the instructions on the degree programme's website'. The MOVE site's own 'Final Enrolment Procedure' page adds the operational steps: fill in the 'International Student Form', collect the documents cited in the form, make the payment using the 'Details for the payment of the fees' file, print the pre-acceptance letter received for MOVE, and deliver everything in person to the Student Secretariat of the Polytechnic and Basic Sciences School, Piazzale Tecchio 80, 80125 Naples (opening times Mon-Fri 9:00-12:00, plus Tue and Thu 14:30-16:30). The linked International Student Form itself requires: identity document/passport; proof of payment of university fees; passport-size photograph in .jpeg format; visa permit (for non-EU residing abroad); and the Declaration of Value (DOV) issued by the competent Embassy or a CIMEA comparability certificate - with an undertaking to deliver the DOV within 30 days if it is not available at enrolment, attaching copies of the school documents in the meantime. (4) FOR EU CANDIDATES - international.unina.it asks for whatever the university deems necessary to evaluate the foreign qualification: eventual translations, legalisations, Diploma Supplement, certificates of examinations, CIMEA (ENIC-NARIC) certificates, and any declaration of value issued by the competent diplomatic representation. MARKED UNCERTAIN because the two MOVE-hosted files are visibly stale: the 'International Student Form' is headed 'A.Y. 2021/22' and the payment file is 'Modulo per immatricolazioni A.A. 2021/2022'.
