Kampüs

Complesso Universitario di Monte Sant'Angelo (Monte Sant'Angelo University Complex), Fuorigrotta district, Naples — VERIFIED (the research brief listed this as "to be verified"). Teaching venue for classes: "All classes are held Monday through Friday at the Monte Sant'Angelo complex in Fuorigrotta." The course's administrative/orientation desk address on both the central unina.it course record and the DISES sheet is: "Sede: Via Cintia, 26 - Edificio Centri Comuni - Complesso Universitario Monte S.Angelo" (Building "Centri Comuni" / Common Centres). The admission interview is held in the dedicated "Aula MEF (centri comuni)" — the MEF Hall in the Common Centres building — i.e. the programme has its own named classroom in that building. Postcode 80126 Napoli. Directions link published by the course: https://goo.gl/maps/c1oYFGkmECWYcQzf9 . Note a minor street-number inconsistency between official unina.it sources: the course sheets give Via Cintia 26, while the DISES departmental page footer gives "Complesso Universitario di Monte Sant'Angelo – Via Cintia, 21 – 80126 – Napoli". Both refer to the same Monte Sant'Angelo campus (see uncertainty_notes). This is NOT at San Giovanni a Teduccio, Policlinico, Portici or Frullone.

Kabul Tipi

OPEN ACCESS (Italian "accesso libero") WITH A COMPULSORY ADMISSION INTERVIEW — this combination is the single most important thing to understand about this programme, and it is easy to misread in either direction. The orientation portal course-sheet header records "Admission: Libero" (Free/open) and "Degree required: Laurea I Livello". "Libero" means there is NO numerus clausus, NO ranked competition against other candidates, and NO published seat cap: the programme is not a "corso a numero programmato" and therefore has no rectoral admission decree (bando) of the kind published for Medicine, Architecture or the locally-capped bachelor's courses. HOWEVER, open access does NOT mean automatic admission. Under Italian law every Laurea Magistrale must verify (a) the candidate's curricular requirements and (b) their "personal preparation" (preparazione personale), and at LMEF this verification is carried out through a mandatory interview before a commission: "La verifica della personale preparazione verrà effettuata mediante un colloquio con una commissione istituita dalla struttura didattica competente." The orientation portal words the same thing as: "Admission is based upon previous academic performance and knowledge of English." So the correct characterisation is: open access / non-capped, but selective on qualification and preparation, decided case-by-case by the LMEF admission committee rather than by a ranking. NOT TOLC-based; NOT SAT-based; NOT a selection call (bando di selezione); no written test; no GRE/GMAT requirement is published on unina.it.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

English — 100% English-medium. This is one of Federico II's genuinely fully English-taught degrees, and the claim is corroborated by four independent official unina.it sources. The orientation portal course-sheet header records "Language: ENG" (no Italian component listed, unlike the ITA/ENG bilingual courses in the same catalogue), and the body states: "The program is taught entirely in English." The central unina.it course record and the DISES departmental sheet both state in Italian: "Tutti i corsi e gli esami sono svolti esclusivamente in lingua inglese" ("All courses and examinations are held exclusively in the English language") and describe the course as "Il corso di laurea magistrale in inglese in Economics and Finance". The international course catalogue on international.unina.it lists the entry "Economics and Finance (LMEF) – ENG". Consequently the University's central rule that waives the Italian B2 requirement for English-taught programmes applies cleanly here (see language_requirements) — unlike bilingual ITA/ENG courses where that waiver is ambiguous. Additional supporting detail: "Classes are taught by academics from the University of Napoli Federico II and other universities in Europe and the United States." No unina.it page indicates any module delivered in Italian.

  • NO DEADLINE FOR THE 2026/2027 INTAKE HAD BEEN PUBLISHED ON ANY unina.it PAGE AS OF THE RESEARCH DATE (30 Ağustos 2026) — this is the most consequential gap in this record, because on the previous cycle's pattern the deadline would fall within days. The most recent published cycle is a.a. 2025/2026, whose figures are: application deadline for the admission interview — Monday 1 September 2025 ("La scadenza per la presentazione della domanda di partecipazione al colloquio è fissata per il giorno lunedì 1° settembre" / "The deadline for submitting the admission request is set for Monday, September 1"); admission interview — Tuesday 16 September 2025 ("martedì 16 settembre in Aula MEF (centri comuni)"). Both weekday/date pairs are internally consistent with calendar year 2025, confirming these are the 2025/26 dates.
  • GENERAL ENROLMENT WINDOW (applies every year, published on the orientation portal): "Enrollment usually takes place between 1 September and 31 October." This University-wide matriculation window is the stable anchor; the departmental interview deadline sits at its very start.
  • EU CANDIDATES WITH A FOREIGN QUALIFICATION follow a separate, deadline-free route defined centrally: "If you are an italian candidate or a candidate from the European Union wherever you reside and regularly residing in Italy or in a European Union country [you] have unrestricted access to university courses if you hold a foreign qualification corresponding to the required Italian qualification. In this case you have to send your academic documents to the Coordinator of the course you wish to enrol in to find out whether you meet the enrolment requirements." No calendar deadline is attached to this coordinator-assessment step on any unina.it page; in practice it must precede the interview and the 31 October matriculation cut-off.

AB / AEA dışı adaylar

  • Non-EU candidates residing abroad face THREE stacked deadlines, only two of which are dated on unina.it, and the earliest falls months before the departmental step. (1) UNIVERSITALY PRE-ENROLMENT — compulsory and the visa prerequisite: "JUNE – 15 – 2026 – Pre-enrolment application deadline to University of Naples Federico II. After this date no programme changes are permitted. After this date pre-enrolment is allowed to the programmes with restricted access only." This last clause is critical and adverse for LMEF specifically: because LMEF is an OPEN-ACCESS ("libero") programme, not a restricted-access one, the 15 June 2026 cut-off appears to be a HARD deadline for it, with no post-deadline pre-enrolment window of the kind left open for restricted-access courses. Pre-enrolment is made exclusively at https://www.universitaly.it/studenti-stranieri , indicating the University of Naples Federico II, this degree programme, and the Embassy/Consulate where the study visa will be requested. (2) THE DEPARTMENTAL ADMISSION INTERVIEW — same route as EU candidates (1 September deadline on the 2025/26 pattern, 2026/27 unpublished; see application_deadline_eu); foreign-university graduates may be interviewed remotely ("colloquio telematico"). (3) VISA — "NOVEMBER – 30 – 2026 – Deadline for submitting the Visa Application at Italian Embassies/Consulates."
  • EXPLICIT OFFICIAL CAVEAT that the pre-enrolment step is not admission: "Be aware that pre-enrolment alone does not grant admission to degree programmes. In order to matriculate you also need to take and pass the verifications of the entry requirements and the admission procedures set for the degree programme of your interest." Also note: "Important! The University of Naples Federico II does not issue admission letters for obtaining a visa."
  • NON-EU CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT NEED A VISA (legally resident in Italy or an EU country) are exempt from Universitaly entirely: "Non-European candidates, wherever they reside and regularly residing in Italy or in a European Union country, have unrestricted access to university courses if they hold a qualification corresponding to the required Italian qualification... You will therefore not need to pre-register on the Universitaly Portal." They present academic documents directly to the Course Coordinator, like EU candidates.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • Seats (total): NO SEAT CAP IS PUBLISHED, and the best reading of the official record is that none exists. The orientation portal course-sheet header records "Admission: Libero" (open/free access), and the central unina.it course record gives "Accesso al Corso: Laurea di 1° livello" with no numerical quota. LMEF is not listed among Federico II's "corsi a numero programmato" (capped courses) and has no rectoral admission decree (bando) setting places, unlike the capped programmes where a seat total is always printed. Under Italian law an uncapped Laurea Magistrale admits all candidates who satisfy the curricular requirements and pass the personal-preparation check, so a "total seats" figure is conceptually absent rather than merely unpublished. Marked uncertain because this is an inference from the absence of a quota plus the "Libero" tag, not from an explicit statement such as "there is no limit on places", which no unina.it page makes for this programme. No cohort-size figure is published on unina.it either. | Seats (non-EU reserved): NO NON-EU RESERVED QUOTA IS PUBLISHED for this programme on any unina.it page. This follows from seats_total: an open-access ("libero") course has no seat pool to subdivide, so no "posti riservati agli studenti extracomunitari" figure of the kind published for capped courses (e.g. the 5 non-EU seats at Hospitality Management) appears in the LMEF record. Consistent with this, the University's central admission regulation reserves post-deadline Universitaly pre-enrolment for "the programmes with restricted access only", implicitly classing LMEF outside the restricted-access/quota regime. The international dimension is instead handled qualitatively — foreign applicants' credits are "individually determined by the Master's admission committee" and they may sit the interview online. Marked uncertain because the annual ministerial/rectoral document that assigns non-EU visa contingents across Federico II's degree programmes was not located on unina.it during this research, so the possibility of an administrative non-EU contingent existing at University level (rather than a programme-level reserved-seat quota) cannot be excluded.
  • Entry qualification: a completed Italian three-year first-cycle degree (Laurea di primo livello) or a foreign qualification recognised as equivalent. Official wording on the central course record and DISES sheet: "Per accedere al Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Economics and Finance si richiede il possesso di una laurea di primo livello (o titolo straniero riconosciuto equipollente) in una delle seguenti classi di laurea" — followed by a closed list of NINE admissible Italian bachelor degree classes: L-7 (Civil and Environmental Engineering), L-8 (Information Engineering), L-9 (Industrial Engineering), L-18 (Economics and Business Administration), L-30 (Physical Sciences and Technologies), L-33 (Economics), L-35 (Mathematical Sciences), L-36 (Political Science and International Relations), L-41 (Statistics) — "e di una solida preparazione di base di economia, matematica e statistica" ("and a solid basic preparation in economics, mathematics and statistics"). Note that this list is notably broader than a pure economics filter: quantitative engineering, physics, mathematics and statistics graduates are explicitly admissible.
  • CURRICULAR CREDIT REQUIREMENTS (Italian applicants). The orientation portal publishes an explicit CFU checklist that Italian applicants must have obtained during their undergraduate studies: "10 credits in Accounting (SECS-P07)
Dil yeterliliği
  • ENGLISH — required, but NO CEFR level and NO list of accepted certificates is published anywhere on unina.it for this programme. What the official sources actually say: (a) admission criterion — "Admission is based upon previous academic performance and knowledge of English"
  • (b) for foreign applicants — "Foreign applicants must hold a three-year degree, a good command of the English language and a solid background in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics"
  • (c) the level is assessed inside the admission interview — the DISES admission notice states the interview "will verify the admission requirements and the basic knowledge and language skills required to access the program" (Italian: "sarà valutato il possesso dei requisiti curricolari, della preparazione di base e delle competenze linguistiche richieste per l'accesso alla Laurea Magistrale")
Sınav / değerlendirme
  • [uncertain as to the 2026/27 date only] YES — a compulsory ADMISSION INTERVIEW (colloquio) before a commission. There is no written examination, no TOLC, no SAT, no multiple-choice test, and no GRE/GMAT requirement published on unina.it. Official wording (DISES, English): "The entry knowledge required for admission will be verified through an interview to be held on Tuesday September 16th in the MEF Hall (common centers). The interview will verify the admission requirements and the basic knowledge and language skills required to access the program."
  • THREE THINGS ARE ASSESSED in one sitting: (i) curricular requirements (the CFU/degree-class checklist)
  • (ii) basic preparation — for candidates from non-economics degree classes specifically "Macroeconomia, Metodi matematici, Microeconomia e Statistica" (Macroeconomics, Mathematical Methods, Microeconomics, Statistics)

    • There is no consolidated official checklist for LMEF; the list below is assembled from the DISES admission notice, the downloadable application form, and the University's central rules for foreign qualifications and enrolment.
    • FOR THE ADMISSION INTERVIEW (the departmental step) — two items only, sent by e-mail: (a) the "LMEF Application Form", a one-page Word document downloadable from the DISES notice, which asks only for: applicant's name, place and date of birth, a declaration of the degree awarded, the awarding University, and the date of award, plus date and signature — its operative text reads "The undersigned applicant ... applies for admission to the Laurea Magistrale in Economics and Finance – 'LMEF' offered by the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Naples Federico II for the Academic Year 2025/2026. The undersigned applicant declares to have been awarded a degree in ___ at the following University: ___ on ___."; and (b) a complete bachelor's transcript of records — "unitamente ad un certificato storico di laurea triennale" / "together with a complete bachelor degree transcript of records". Both are sent to segrecon@unina.it with copy to mef@unina.it: "Tutti gli studenti interessati potranno inviare il modulo riportato di seguito all'indirizzo segrecon@unina.it e per conoscenza all'indirizzo mef@unina.it". No CV, motivation letter, reference letters, research proposal or GRE/GMAT score is requested by any unina.it page.
    • FOR ASSESSMENT OF A FOREIGN QUALIFICATION (EU and non-EU alike), per the central admission regulation: "– eventual translations – legalisations – Diploma Supplement – certificates of examinations – certificates from the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA) https://www.cimea.it/EN/ – any declarations of value issued by the competent diplomatic representations". The commission also examines the syllabi of examinations taken.

  • 1) CAMPUS RESOLVED. The research brief listed campus as "to be verified". It is now confirmed as the Complesso Universitario di Monte Sant'Angelo (Fuorigrotta, Naples) from three official sources: classes "at the Monte Sant'Angelo complex in Fuorigrotta", the course office at "Via Cintia, 26 - Edificio Centri Comuni - Complesso Universitario Monte S.Angelo", and the admission interview in the "Aula MEF (centri comuni)". Residual minor discrepancy: the DISES departmental footer gives the street number as Via Cintia 21 while the course sheets give Via Cintia 26. Both are within the same campus (21 is the departmental building, 26 the Centri Comuni building); this does not affect the campus assignment. 2) THE OPEN-ACCESS / INTERVIEW COMBINATION IS THE MAIN INTERPRETIVE RISK. "Admission: Libero" can be misread as "no admission procedure", which is wrong: a mandatory interview verifies curricular requirements, basic preparation and English. Conversely, the interview can be misread as a competitive entrance exam, which is also wrong: there is no cap, no score scale, no ranking list and no bando. The accurate model is: uncapped, but individually gated on qualification and preparation. 3) NO 2026/2027 CYCLE INFORMATION EXISTS ON unina.it — HIGHEST-IMPACT GAP. As of the research date (30 Ağustos 2026) the newest published admission procedure is the a.a. 2025/2026 one (deadline Monday 1 September 2025, interview Tuesday 16 September 2025 — both weekday/date pairs verified against the 2025 calendar). No 2026/27 notice appears on the DISES homepage, the DISES events listing or the student notice board, all of which carry unrelated content dated into July 2026. On the prior year's pattern the 2026/27 deadline would fall on or about 1 September 2026, i.e. within days of the research date, so an applicant must contact segrecon@unina.it and mef@unina.it immediately rather than wait for a web posting. Every date in this record is a 2025/26 date and must not be treated as the current cycle's. 4) SEARCH-ENGINE SNIPPET CONFLICT ON THE INTERVIEW DATE. One search-result summary rendered the 2025/26 interview as "Wednesday, September 10". The page itself, fetched directly, reads "martedì 16 settembre" / "Tuesday September 16th" in both its Italian and English halves. The direct fetch is authoritative and 16 September 2025 was indeed a Tuesday, whereas 10 September 2025 was a Wednesday — so the snippet appears to conflate a different notice or an earlier edition. The 16 September date is used here. 5) TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR IN THE OFFICIAL CREDIT CHECKLIST. The orientation portal requires "10 credits in Microeconomics (SECS-P01) and 10 credits in Macroeconomics (SECS-P01)" — assigning the same SSD code to both. SECS-P/01 is Economics/Microeconomics; Macroeconomics is SECS-P/02, which is separately listed in the surrounding bracket. The requirement is evidently 10 CFU micro + 10 CFU macro within the 25-CFU economics block. Quoted verbatim above so the error is visible; applicants should not read it as requiring 20 CFU under a single code. 6) TWO DIFFERENT CREDIT CHECKLISTS EXIST ACROSS OFFICIAL SOURCES, AND THE REGULATION IS STALE. The current orientation-portal list (used above) requires: 10 SECS-P/07, 10 SECS-P/08, 25 economics, 5 SECS-P/12, 10 SECS-S/01, 10 SECS-S/06, 25 law, 5 L-LIN/12. The only retrievable didactic regulation — "LMEF REGOLAMENTO 2015-16" — sets different groupings (20 CFU across SECS-P/07-P/11; 30 CFU across the economics SSDs; 25 CFU across SECS-S/01-S/06; 20 CFU law; 5 CFU L-LIN/12) and, critically, admits only degree classes 28/L-33 and 17/L-18, whereas the current course record admits nine classes including engineering, physics, mathematics and statistics. The 2015/16 regulation is therefore superseded on both points and was used here only for wording that the current sources corroborate. No current regulation PDF is published on the DISES regulations index. The 2015/16 text also contains a condition not repeated in current sources — "La frequenza di un corso triennale all'estero è comunque considerata condizione necessaria per l'ammissione" — which is not relied upon here. 7) NO ENGLISH PROFICIENCY THRESHOLD IS PUBLISHED. Unusually for a fully English-taught Italian master's, no unina.it page states a CEFR level (B2/C1), names accepted certificates (IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge) or gives score equivalences for LMEF. English is assessed qualitatively inside the admission interview. The only numeric English requirement anywhere is "5 credits in English (L-LIN12)", which is a curricular CFU requirement applying to Italian applicants and is not a proficiency band. Non-EU applicants should still obtain a certificate because the central regulation says one is "useful for the issue of the visa". 8) SEATS AND NON-EU QUOTA ARE ABSENT BY DESIGN, NOT MERELY UNFOUND — BUT THIS IS AN INFERENCE. No seat total and no non-EU reserved-seat figure is published, which is the expected state for an "accesso libero" course with no bando. However, no unina.it page affirmatively states "places are unlimited", and the annual University-level document assigning non-EU visa contingents across programmes was not located, so a University-level administrative contingent cannot be strictly excluded. Both fields are marked uncertain on that basis. 9) COORDINATOR CONFLICT ACROSS OFFICIAL PAGES. The central unina.it course record names "Coordinatore: Prof. Marco PAGNOZZI"; the DISES sheet and the orientation portal name Prof. Saverio Simonelli (orientation portal titles him "Coordinatore Didattico", saverio.simonelli@unina.it, tel. 081675309). The international course catalogue lists Prof. Marco Pagnozzi for one double-degree track and Prof. Saverio Simonelli for the other two entries. Since EU applicants with a foreign qualification are centrally instructed to "send your academic documents to the Coordinator of the course", this ambiguity is operationally significant; writing to the departmental offices (segrecon@unina.it, mef@unina.it) is the safer route. 10) FEE FIGURES CONFLICT BETWEEN OFFICIAL SOURCES. international.unina.it prints flat annual amounts (EU: €200 tuition + €140 regional tax + €16 stamp; non-EU: €140 regional tax + €16 stamp, with no tuition line), while the main unina.it fee pages publish no figures and route to the ISEE-based calculator at calcolatrice.unina.it. The literal reading of the international page — that non-EU students pay no tuition component — is favourable enough that it should be confirmed with the student office before being relied on. No programme-specific LMEF fee is published anywhere. 11) THE DEDICATED COURSE WEBSITE IS OFF-DOMAIN AND UNREADABLE. Both unina.it course records designate "www.nse-unina.it" (Naples School of Economics) as the course website, and the DISES page links to /lmef/about, /lmef/admission-and-scholarships, /lmef/all-courses and /lmef/course-schedule. That domain is not under unina.it, so it falls outside this research's source restriction, and it is additionally a JavaScript single-page application that returns only a page title to static fetching. Its "admission and scholarships" page is the most likely location of current-cycle deadlines and any scholarship detail, and could not be read. No field value above was taken from it. 12) SCHOLARSHIPS NOT COVERED. The orientation portal describes a CSEF mentoring/fellowship programme for students heading to a PhD ("yearly fellowships directly targeted at strengthening the CV and the skills of students who want to pursue a research or academic career"), but this is an in-programme initiative for enrolled second-year students, not an admission scholarship. No entry scholarship scheme for LMEF applicants was found on unina.it; the University-wide scholarship page is https://www.unina.it/en/ateneo/concorsi-e-borse-di-studio/borse-di-studio . 13) TECHNICAL NOTE ON SOURCING. orientamento.unina.it and dises.unina.it presented TLS certificate-chain errors to the standard fetcher and had to be retrieved with a direct HTTP client; www.unina.it/didattica/iscrizioni-e-tasse returned HTTP 403 to that client and was read through the standard fetcher instead. Several international.unina.it paths (/admission-to-degree-programmes/, /how-to-apply/) return HTTP 404; the live page is /education/admission-regulation/. These are site-infrastructure issues, not content problems, but they mean some unina.it material may be unreachable to automated checks and should be re-verified manually near an application deadline.
