NAPLES - FUORIGROTTA, Piazzale Vincenzo Tecchio 80, 80125 Napoli. NOT Monte Sant'Angelo, NOT San Giovanni a Teduccio, NOT Policlinico, NOT Portici. The research brief listed campus as 'to be verified'; it is now verified. orientamento.unina.it gives the address under 'Directions' as simply 'Piazzale Tecchio 80, 80125 Napoli'. The DICMaPI programme page gives the same address as the department seat ('Piazzale V. Tecchio 80, 80125 Napoli, ITALIA', tel. +39 081 7682541) and states 'Teaching location: Napoli' / 'Sede didattica: Napoli'. This is the Federico II engineering campus in the western part of Naples (Fuorigrotta), shared with the other Piazzale Tecchio engineering programmes. STUDENT OFFICE for this degree: Segreteria Studenti Ingegneria / Ufficio Area Didattica Ingegneria of the Scuola Politecnica e delle Scienze di Base - ing. Flavio Ciccarelli, tel. 081-7682208, segreing@unina.it. Live room and timetable allocation is published through the University's Student Agenda (https://easyacademy.unina.it/agendastudenti/index.php?view=easycourse&include=homepage&_lang=en). The published sources give only the departmental seat at Piazzale Tecchio 80 and do not enumerate which specific Fuorigrotta buildings (e.g. via Claudio 21, via Nuova Agnano) individual lectures or laboratories are held in; that is allocated year by year through the Student Agenda.

OPEN ACCESS (accesso libero / non a numero programmato), CONDITIONAL ON TWO CHECKS PLUS A LANGUAGE CHECK. There is no ranking, no competitive selection, no bando/call, no quota and no scored entrance examination. orientamento.unina.it summarises the access mode in one line: English profile 'Admission: Verifica di preparazione'; Italian profile 'Accesso: Verifica di preparazione'; entry qualification 'Degree required: Laurea I Livello' / 'Titolo di ingresso: Laurea I Livello'. WHAT IS ACTUALLY CHECKED, in order (Didactic Regulations Artt. 4-5, and the department's Vademecum LM 2025/26 section 3): (1) CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS - a documentary check of the applicant's bachelor transcript against a minimum of 54 CFU distributed over four blocks of scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD). Carried out by the CCD, in practice through a 'Commissione Istruttoria'. (2) ADEQUACY OF PERSONAL PREPARATION - automatic if the applicant has at least 40 CFU in the four core chemical-engineering sectors AND a weighted bachelor average of at least 24/30; otherwise a colloquium or test. (3) LANGUAGE COMPETENCE - B1 in the language of the chosen curriculum, i.e. B1 ENGLISH for Sustainable Engineering and Product Engineering. CONFIRMED NOT RESTRICTED-ACCESS: the University's official 'Corsi a numero programmato' list for a.y. 2026/2027 does not contain Ingegneria Chimica or any LM-22. The only restricted-access two-year Lauree Magistrali on that list are Precision Livestock Farming, Professioni sanitarie, Psicologia Clinica e degli interventi nei contesti sociali e dello sviluppo, Scienze Enologiche and Scienze della Nutrizione Umana. The Scuola Politecnica e delle Scienze di Base states the same rule generally for its master's degrees: admission requires 'la verifica del possesso dei requisiti curriculari nonche la verifica della personale preparazione dello studente'. NO TOLC, NO SAT, NO GRE/GMAT, NO NATIONAL TEST. TOLC-I applies only to Federico II BACHELOR programmes in Engineering (the department publishes a separate 'Guida al TOLC-I per Ingegneria Chimica - 2026/2027' for the L-9 bachelor); it has no role in this master's. CURRICULUM CHOICE IS NOT A SELECTION. Entering Sustainable Engineering or Product Engineering is not competitive and has no separate quota; it is a declaration made by the student. Vademecum LM 2025/26: 'La scelta deve essere effettuata al momento dell'immatricolazione tramite il portale Segrepass.' (See uncertainty_notes for a timing discrepancy with the programme's Study Plan page, which says the curriculum is declared in the study plan by 31 October.) IF THE CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET, ENROLMENT IS REFUSED UNTIL THEY ARE MADE UP. Note the word 'anteriormente' - unlike some Federico II engineering master's degrees, there is NO option here to enrol first and fill the gap later with an individual alignment study plan. The credits must be earned BEFORE enrolment, through 'corsi singoli' (http://www.unina.it/-/5601348-iscrizione-ai-corsi-singoli), which can cost a semester or more. FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS RESIDING ABROAD an additional national procedure sits on top: compulsory pre-enrolment on the Universitaly portal, then a study visa. That is a visa procedure, not a selection - see application_deadline_non_eu. FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS THE DEPARTMENT RUNS ITS OWN DOCUMENT-SCREENING STEP by email to infoingchim@unina.it before any of this - see required_documents.
Resmî Eğitim Dili
PROGRAMME LEVEL: Italian AND English. orientamento.unina.it lists 'Language ENG/ITA' on the English profile and 'Lingua ITA/ENG' on the Italian one. The Didactic Regulations Art. 1 register the degree as 'lingua in cui si tiene il corso: italiano, inglese'. The University's International course catalogue lists the entry as 'Ingegneria Chimica / Chemical Engineering - IT/ENG' - contrast the fully English degrees in the same Engineering list, marked '- ENG' (Autonomous Vehicle Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Bioengineering, Transportation Engineering and Mobility). This IT/ENG registration matters for the non-EU Italian-B2 question - see language_requirements. CURRICULUM LEVEL - THE POINT OF THIS ITEM: of the three curricula, TWO are taught entirely in English and one in Italian. The department's own table (Vademecum LM 2025/26, section 1) is unambiguous: 'Ingegneria di Processo - Italiano; Product Engineering - Inglese; Sustainable Engineering - Inglese'. Didactic Regulations Art. 2: 'Il corso e organizzato in tre curricula (due dei quali erogati integralmente in lingua inglese)'. PRACTICAL CONSEQUENCE FOR AN INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT: an applicant who does not speak Italian must commit to Sustainable Engineering OR Product Engineering, and must select it explicitly on Segrepass at immatriculation. Choosing Ingegneria di Processo puts the student into Italian-taught classes. WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN ENGLISH INSIDE THE TWO CURRICULA (2025/2026 study plan). Product Engineering: Advanced Thermodynamics and Transport Phenomena (8 CFU), Safety in Chemical Processes (6), Applied Physical Chemistry (9), Rheology (9), Process Dynamics and Control (8), Chemical and Biochemical Reactors (8), Modeling and Numerical Simulation of Chemical Processes (6), Soft Matter Engineering (9), Unit Operations for Product Engineering (6), Structure Engineering (9). Sustainable Engineering: Advanced Thermodynamics and Transport Phenomena (8), Safety in Chemical Processes (6), Fermentation Chemistry and Industrial Microbiology (9), Process Dynamics and Control (8), Fundamentals of Bioprocess Engineering (6), Chemical and Biochemical Reactors (8), Sustainable Process Design (9), Environmental Chemical Engineering (6), Industrial Chemistry from renewable feedstocks (9), Structure Engineering (9). Both add 'Tirocini formativi e di orientamento' (6 CFU), 'Ulteriori conoscenze Linguistiche' (3 CFU), 'Prova finale' (15 CFU) and 18 CFU of free-choice courses. *** WARNING - THE 18 CFU OF FREE-CHOICE COURSES ARE NOT LANGUAGE-PROTECTED. *** The department states plainly, Vademecum LM 2025/26: 'la lingua di erogazione non costituisce un vincolo alla scelta' (the teaching language is not a constraint on the choice), and the published elective list mixes English titles (Interfacial engineering, Regenerative chemistry, Machine Learning for Product and Process Engineering, Environmental biotechnology, Food formulation engineering, Thermo-chemical conversion of biomass and waste, Sustainable technologies for pollution control, Biotechnological processes, Applied statistical thermodynamics, Heterogeneous photocatalytic processes, Industrial ecology and green engineering, Formulation chemistry and technology, Advanced numerical techniques for soft matter simulation) with ITALIAN ones (Biomateriali, Combustione e fluidodinamica di sistemi reagenti, Ingegneria dei materiali nanofasici per l'energia e la sensoristica, Ingegneria dei sistemi elettrochimici e celle a combustibile, Ingegneria Sanitaria Ambientale, Meccanica dei fluidi complessi, Reattori e apparecchiature multifase, Reti Neurali per Applicazioni Industriali, Rischi di esplosione nei luoghi di lavoro, Sicurezza di materiali solidi e liquidi ed attivita laboratoriali, Sicurezza strutturale antiincendio di edifici industriali, Simulazione molecolare di materiali). A non-Italian-speaking student must therefore pick their 18 CFU deliberately from the English-titled electives. Two named restrictions: 'Meccanica dei fluidi complessi' is not selectable by Product Engineering students (it overlaps with Rheology), and 'Advanced numerical techniques for soft matter simulation' requires 'Modeling and numerical simulation of chemical processes' as a prerequisite. THESIS - MANDATORY ENGLISH FOR THESE CURRICULA. Didactic Regulations Art. 16: 'L'elaborato deve necessariamente essere scritto e discusso in lingua inglese dagli studenti che scelgono uno dei due curricula in inglese. In tal caso deve essere comunque allegato un estratto in lingua italiana.' So the thesis and its defence MUST be in English, but an Italian-language abstract must still be attached. NOTE ON ITALIAN: no Italian-language teaching requirement is imposed by the programme for the two English curricula, but the degree is administratively an Italian/English degree, and much of the department's own web material, the study-plan forms, the vademecums (all published only in Italian), the didactic calendar and the student secretariat operate in Italian. I did not find a per-course language field published on unina.it confirming, course sheet by course sheet, that every Sustainable Engineering / Product Engineering course is delivered in English; the English-medium claim rests on the Didactic Regulations, the orientamento profile and the department's own curriculum/language table, which state it for the curricula as a whole.

NO PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC APPLICATION DEADLINE EXISTS FOR EU (AND EU-EQUIVALENT) CANDIDATES, because the programme is open access - there is no call, no application window and no ranking. What binds instead are (A) the admission-evaluation step, (B) the University's enrolment calendar, and (C) the curriculum/study-plan declaration. All university dates below are the official a.y. 2026/2027 dates from the binding 'Guida all'iscrizione Anno accademico 2026-27', the document the programme's own orientamento page points to under 'Application timeline'.
(A) ADMISSION EVALUATION - NO DEADLINE, DO IT EARLY. Holders of a FOREIGN qualification (EU citizens, or non-EU citizens legally resident in Italy or the EU) should send their documents to the programme, per international.unina.it: 'send your academic documents to the Coordinator of the course you wish to enrol in to find out whether you meet the enrolment requirements'. For this degree the department publishes its own email intake: infoingchim@unina.it (see required_documents). If the applicant has fewer than 40 CFU in the ICHI sectors, or an average below 24/30, a colloquium must be arranged - and note it can only be taken 'dopo l'avvio dell'immatricolazione', i.e. after the enrolment process has been started. If the 54-CFU curricular requirement falls short, the missing credits must be earned via 'corsi singoli' BEFORE enrolment, which can cost a semester or more. Start months ahead of the enrolment window.
(B) UNIVERSITY ENROLMENT CALENDAR FOR A.Y. 2026/2027 (Guida all'iscrizione 2026-27, 'Date importanti da ricordare per l'anno accademico 2026/27'):
AB / AEA dışı adaylar
FOR NON-EU CANDIDATES RESIDING ABROAD THERE IS A HARD, MINISTRY-DRIVEN DATE AND IT IS EARLY: 15 JUNE 2026.
- 15 Haziran 2026: PRE-ENROLMENT APPLICATION DEADLINE on the UNIVERSITALY portal, naming the University of Naples Federico II and this degree programme. international.unina.it, verbatim: 'JUNE - 15 - 2026 - Pre-enrolment application deadline to University of Naples Federico II. After this date no programme changes are permitted. After this date pre-enrolment is allowed to the programmes with restricted access only.' THIS IS THE OPERATIVE DEADLINE FOR THIS PROGRAMME: because Ingegneria Chimica is OPEN access (not restricted access), non-EU pre-enrolment closes on 15 June 2026 and does NOT reopen. Miss it and the a.y. 2026/2027 intake is closed to you. This is the single most important date in this record for a non-EU applicant - it falls a full month BEFORE the university's own enrolment window even opens on 16 July 2026.
- 30 Kasım 2026: deadline for lodging the study-visa application at Italian Embassies/Consulates - 'NOVEMBER - 30 - 2026 - Deadline for submitting the Visa Application at Iyalian [sic] Embassies /Consulates.'

Seats (total): NO SEAT CAP - the programme is open access. No number of places is published anywhere on unina.it for this degree, because none exists: the University's official 'Corsi a numero programmato' list for a.y. 2026/2027 does not include Ingegneria Chimica or any LM-22, and orientamento.unina.it records access as 'Verifica di preparazione' rather than a competition. Anyone who clears the curricular check (54 CFU), the personal-preparation check and the B1 language check may enrol. Consequently there is no ranking list (graduatoria) and no bando fixing places. NO CAP ON THE ENGLISH CURRICULA EITHER: neither Sustainable Engineering nor Product Engineering has a published maximum number of students; entry to them is by selection on Segrepass at immatriculation, not by allocation. Class-size limits could in principle be applied administratively (e.g. laboratory capacity), but nothing of the kind is published for this programme. | Seats (non-EU reserved): NONE - no seats are reserved for, or capped for, non-EU applicants. Reserved non-EU quotas at Federico II exist only for restricted-access (numero programmato) programmes, and this programme is not one of them (verified against the University's 'Corsi a numero programmato' 2026/2027 list, which contains no LM-22 and, among two-year master's degrees, only Precision Livestock Farming, Professioni sanitarie, Psicologia Clinica e degli interventi nei contesti sociali e dello sviluppo, Scienze Enologiche and Scienze della Nutrizione Umana). Non-EU applicants residing abroad still have to go through the compulsory Universitaly pre-enrolment and study-visa procedure, but that is a visa pipeline with a hard DATE (15 June 2026), not a NUMBER of places - see application_deadline_non_eu. Non-EU applicants who are already legally resident in Italy or in an EU country are treated exactly like EU applicants: international.unina.it, 'Non-European candidates, wherever they reside and regularly residing in Italy or in a European Union country, have unrestricted access to university courses if they hold a qualification corresponding to the required Italian qualification ... You will therefore not need to pre-register on the Universitaly Portal.'
ENTRY QUALIFICATION. A Laurea (Italian three-year bachelor), or a three-year university diploma, or a foreign qualification recognised as equivalent. Quest'ultima include il possesso di adeguate competenze linguistiche.' orientamento.unina.it lists the entry title as 'Laurea I Livello'.
CURRICULAR REQUIREMENT - AT LEAST 54 CFU/ECTS, IN FOUR SEPARATE BLOCKS. There is no automatic-access degree class here: EVERY applicant, Italian or foreign, is measured against the same 54-CFU grid. Didactic Regulations Art. 4: 'Il requisito curriculare richiesto per l'iscrizione al corso di Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Chimica consiste nell'avere conseguito almeno 54 CFU in settori scientifico-disciplinari specifici, articolati come segue'. The four blocks are cumulative minima, so a transcript strong in one block cannot compensate for a shortfall in another.

FOUR SEPARATE LANGUAGE RULES OPERATE AND THEY ARE NOT ALIGNED. Rules 1 and 2 are the programme's own and are well documented
Rule 3 is a stale departmental page that contradicts Rule 1
Rule 4 is the university/ministry rule that can actually derail a non-EU applicant.
Sınav / değerlendirme
THERE IS NO SCORED, SCHEDULED, COMPETITIVE ENTRANCE EXAM. No TOLC, no SAT, no GRE/GMAT, no national test, no published test calendar, no question bank, no pass mark, no ranking. What exists instead are TWO CONDITIONAL, INDIVIDUALLY ARRANGED CHECKS, both triggered only for applicants who fail to clear an automatic threshold.
(1) SUBJECT COLLOQUIUM OR TEST ON THE CORE CHEMICAL-ENGINEERING SECTORS. Triggered when the applicant has fewer than 40 CFU in ICHI-01/B, ICHI-02/A, ICHI-01/C, ICHI-02/B (ex ING-IND/24-27), OR has at least 40 CFU there but a weighted bachelor average below 24/30.
SCOPE OF THE COLLOQUIUM IS NARROW AND PREDICTABLE - this is the single most useful preparation fact published. In other words the interview is on the topics of the ONE core chemical-engineering course you passed with your LOWEST grade (ties broken by whichever came first chronologically) - not on the whole syllabus.
3. Hazırlanacak belgeler
THIS PROGRAMME PUBLISHES AN UNUSUALLY CLEAR, SELF-CONTAINED CHECKLIST FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS - use it as the primary list. Three further lists apply at later stages.
(1) *** DEPARTMENT'S INTERNATIONAL-APPLICANT CHECKLIST (the operative first step). *** 'VADEMECUM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS - Application to the MSc in Chemical Engineering - University of Naples Federico II' (DICMaPI, PDF uploaded January 2026, signed by Prof. Almerinda Di Benedetto):
HOW TO SEND IT: 'Send your application by email to: infoingchim@unina.it - Subject: Application - MSc Chemical Engineering [Your Full Name]'.
1. *** CORRECTION TO THE RESEARCH BRIEF - THERE ARE TWO ENGLISH CURRICULA, NOT ONE. *** The brief describes a single 'Chemical Engineering (English curriculum)'. Every 2026/2027 source says the LM-22 degree has THREE curricula, TWO of them entirely in English: Sustainable Engineering (English), Product Engineering (English), Ingegneria di Processo / Process Engineering (Italian). Didactic Regulations Art. 2: 'tre curricula (due dei quali erogati integralmente in lingua inglese)'. Any downstream listing built from this record must offer the applicant a choice between two English tracks, not one, and they are substantively different in content (bio/sustainability/process design vs. soft matter/rheology/product formulation).
2. DIPLOMA NAME vs CURRICULUM NAME - THE OTHER CENTRAL POINT OF THIS RECORD. The qualification awarded is the Italian degree 'Ingegneria Chimica' (class LM-22). 'Chemical Engineering' is the University's own official English rendering of that same degree (Didactic Regulations Art. 1: 'nome del corso in inglese: Chemical Engineering'), and 'Sustainable Engineering' / 'Product Engineering' are curricula inside it, not degree titles. [uncertain] I found NO unina.it text stating whether the curriculum name is printed on the diploma or on the Diploma Supplement. The only Diploma Supplement statement published for this programme concerns the optional Minor: orientamento.unina.it says that at the end of a Minor 'the student obtains a specific mention reported in the Diploma Supplement'. That a Minor is explicitly said to appear on the Diploma Supplement, while nothing equivalent is said about the curriculum, is suggestive but not conclusive. Italian practice is normally that the curriculum appears on the Diploma Supplement and the transcript rather than on the diploma parchment, but that is inference, not a sourced fact for this programme. Anyone relying on the English-language identity of this qualification abroad should assume the certificate reads 'Ingegneria Chimica'.
3. ACADEMIC-YEAR MISMATCH BETWEEN UNIVERSITY AND PROGRAMME DOCUMENTS. The orientamento profile is marked 'Update a.a. 2026/2027' and the university fee/calendar documents are 2026/27, but the newest Didactic Regulations published for this degree are 'in vigore a partire dall'a.a. 2025-2026' and the newest student guide is the 'Vademecum LM 2025/26' (uploaded April 2026); the orientamento study-plan download is itself labelled 'Study plan 2025/2026'. No 2026-2027 Regolamento Didattico was found, and probe URLs following the department's own file-naming pattern returned the site's HTML shell rather than a PDF. The programme-level rules in this record (54 CFU, M >= 24, B1, curriculum choice) should be re-checked when a 2026-2027 Regolamento appears. Note one date in this record is explicitly a 2025/26 date carried forward by analogy: the Vademecum's 'termine ultimo ... 31 marzo 2026' corresponds to the Guida's 31 March 2027 for a.y. 2026/27.
4. *** B1 vs B2 ENGLISH - A DIRECT CONTRADICTION BETWEEN TWO UNINA.IT PAGES, AND IT MATTERS. *** The 2025-2026 Didactic Regulations (Art. 5) and the January 2026 international vademecum both say B1 English for ADMISSION to the English curricula, with B2 required only to GRADUATE (3 CFU, obtainable during the first year). The department's 'Iscriversi al corso' / 'Enrolling in the course' page says B2 is required 'per potere essere ammessi'. That page is demonstrably stale - it links the 2023-2024 Regolamento, states a deadline of '1 aprile 2024', and describes a personal-preparation formula using both average M and study duration D that the current Regolamento has replaced. It also contradicts itself by adding that the credits may be acquired 'entro la fine del primo anno accademico'. My reading: B1 is the real admission bar, B2 is the graduation bar. But because the stale page is still live on the department's own site, an applicant with only B1 should carry the international vademecum's text when corresponding with the office, and confirm in writing.
5. THE ITALIAN B2 QUESTION FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS IS GENUINELY UNRESOLVED, AND IT IS THE BIGGEST PRACTICAL RISK IN THIS RECORD. The University waives Italian B2 for courses 'in ENGLISH' but registers this degree as IT/ENG in its own International course catalogue, and Universitaly pre-enrolment is filed against the DEGREE, which has no curriculum field. The waiver sentence on international.unina.it also lists 'three-year, five-year or single-cycle' and omits the two-year magistrale, while the sentence imposing Italian B2 explicitly names 'magistral degree course'. Get this confirmed in writing by the Coordinator before filing on Universitaly. This is the same structural ambiguity that affects the other IT/ENG Federico II master's degrees.
6. CURRICULUM-DECLARATION TIMING - TWO DIFFERENT ANSWERS ON THE DEPARTMENT'S OWN SITE. The Vademecum LM 2025/26 says the curriculum is chosen 'al momento dell'immatricolazione tramite il portale Segrepass'. The programme's Study Plan page says students must submit a study plan by 31 October indicating 'sia la scelta tra uno dei tre curricula ... sia quella degli insegnamenti a scelta autonoma'. These may describe a selection made at enrolment and then confirmed in the study plan, but no source says so. Safest course: select the English curriculum on Segrepass at immatriculation AND confirm it in the study plan by 31 October.
7. THE ADMISSION COLLOQUIUM CANNOT BE SAT BEFORE ENROLMENT BEGINS - A SEQUENCING TRAP FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS. 'Il colloquio potra essere sostenuto solo dopo l'avvio dell'immatricolazione', and the Coordinator arranges the date individually. Meanwhile non-EU pre-enrolment on Universitaly closes 15 June 2026, and the university's enrolment window does not open until 16 July 2026. Nothing published explains how a non-EU applicant who needs the colloquium (fewer than 40 ICHI CFU, or average below 24/30) is supposed to sequence these. Nothing states whether the colloquium can be held remotely, in what language it is conducted for a candidate entering an English curriculum, whether there is a pass mark, or how many attempts are allowed.
8. CURRICULAR SHORTFALL MUST BE FIXED BEFORE ENROLMENT, WITH NO 'ENROL NOW, ALIGN LATER' OPTION. Art. 5 uses 'anteriormente alla iscrizione'. Unlike the mechanical-engineering master's at the same university, this programme's regulations offer no individual-study-plan alignment path after enrolment. For a foreign applicant short on the 18-CFU ICHI block or any of the other three blocks, this can mean a lost year. No published turnaround time exists for the committee's evaluation of a foreign transcript.
9. NO PUBLISHED FOREIGN-GRADE CONVERSION for the M >= 24/30 personal-preparation threshold. Decided case by case by the committee.
10. THE ONE-YEAR ENGLISH-INTERVIEW CONCESSION IS EXPLICITLY TIME-LIMITED. The Vademecum's alternative to a B1 certificate or CLA test - 'un breve colloquio non tecnico in lingua inglese con la Commissione Istruttoria' - is flagged 'Solo per A.A. 2025/2026'. Do not assume it carries into 2026/2027.
11. COORDINATOR ROLE LABELLING IS INCONSISTENT ON THE DEPARTMENT SITE. The programme's own contacts page sidebar still shows 'Referente CDS: Prof. Giovanni Ianniruberto', while the same site's English programme page, the orientamento profile and the signed January 2026 international vademecum all give Prof. Almerinda Di Benedetto as Coordinator / Degree Programme Director (she signs as 'Coordinator of the BSc and MSc Programs in Chemical Engineering'). Treat Di Benedetto as the coordinator; Ianniruberto's name also appears attached to the L-9 bachelor block on the same pages, so the sidebar is probably a stale or bachelor-scoped entry.
12. ELECTIVES ARE A LANGUAGE TRAP. 'La lingua di erogazione non costituisce un vincolo alla scelta' means a student in an English curriculum can unknowingly select Italian-taught electives among the 18 free-choice CFU. The published elective list mixes English and Italian titles. This is stated as a fact on the department's site, not as a warning, and it is the most likely way for a non-Italian-speaking student to end up in an Italian-taught classroom.
13. ENROLMENT-WINDOW CONFLICT ON ORIENTAMENTO. The orientamento 'Application timeline' says first-year enrolment runs '1 September to 31 December', which matches neither the 2026/27 Guida (16 July - 2 November ordinary, late to 15 January 2027, absolute 31 March 2027) nor the department's Vademecum. Use the Guida.
14. FEE FIGURES CONFLICT ON UNINA.IT: the binding Guida all'iscrizione 2026-27 gives banded regional taxes of EUR 130 / 151 / 173 (D.M. 176 of 24 February 2026), while international.unina.it still shows a flat EUR 140. Use the Guida. The tuition components (EUR 200 for EU citizens, total exemption for non-EU citizens) agree across both.
15. NO ADMISSION LETTER IS PROMISED. international.unina.it states 'The University of Naples Federico II does not issue admission letters for obtaining a visa', and the department's international vademecum promises only that 'you may be contacted for an interview or further steps'. Unlike some other Federico II departments, this one does not describe issuing a Letter of Acceptance or uploading one to Universitaly. Assume the visa rests on the validated Universitaly pre-enrolment summary.
16. corsi.unina.it/M55 COULD NOT BE READ. The University's course-catalogue portal is an Angular single-page application that returns only an HTML shell to non-JavaScript clients; the page title resolves to a generic 'Corsi di Studio | Unina.it'. The course code M55 is nonetheless established from the catalogue's own indexed entry ('M55 INGEGNERIA CHIMICA', www.corsi.unina.it/M55) and is consistent with the SUA identifier 1573410 given in the Didactic Regulations. Ministerial data (activation year, exact ordinamento wording) could not be read from that portal.
17. PER-COURSE LANGUAGE NOT VERIFIED. The English-medium claim for Sustainable Engineering and Product Engineering rests on the Didactic Regulations, the orientamento profile and the department's curriculum/language table, all of which state it for the curricula as a whole. I did not find course-sheet-level language fields on unina.it confirming each individual course. Note that 'Structure Engineering' in the English curricula and 'Fondamenti di Ingegneria Strutturale' in the Italian one appear to be the same 9-CFU course delivered in two languages, so course titles alone are not proof of delivery language.
18. SCOPE NOTE ON SOURCES. Per the brief, only unina.it sources were used for substantive claims (orientamento.unina.it, international.unina.it, unina.it, dicmapi.unina.it, corsi.unina.it, scuolapsb.unina.it). Third-party aggregators were not relied on. The ministerial international-students circular referenced by international.unina.it is hosted outside unina.it (universitaly-private.cineca.it) and was not consulted, so the 2026/2027 visa subsistence and insurance figures are not independently verified here. Note also that orientamento.unina.it presents an invalid TLS certificate chain to some clients; its pages were retrieved directly rather than through a proxy fetcher.
