Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

A.Y. 2026/27 (Chemical Engineering Teaching Regulations; the regulations state that the adjusted threshold could be modified for 2027/28 admissions). A first-level (bachelor) degree or higher is required; final-year students may apply and must graduate before the MSc enrolment deadline (Italian-degree applicants: final-year students with 145 certified ECTS). An Evaluation Committee assesses the coherence of the background, the weighted average and the duration of studies, and may assign curricular integrations before enrolment (to be passed within 18 months). Curricular requirement: a bachelor in class L-9 (Industrial Engineering), or a degree of at least 180 ECTS with at least 40 ECTS of basic subjects (MATH-02/A, MATH-02/B, MATH-03/A, MATH-03/B, CHEM-03/A, CHEM-06/A, PHYS-01/A, PHYS-03/A), at least 40 ECTS of core Chemical Engineering subjects (ICHI-01/A, ICHI-01/B, ICHI-02/A, ICHI-01/C, ICHI-02/B), at least 10 ECTS in IIND-06/A, IIND-06/B, IMAT-01/A, CEAR-06/A and at least 10 ECTS in IIND-07/A, IIET-01/A, CHEM-05/A. Weighted average (Italian 30-point scale) not below the adjusted threshold SC = 22 + (min(6, N) - 4), where N is the number of years taken to earn the bachelor (N must be 6 or less); the bachelor must be earned no later than 31 October of the sixth year after first enrolment (not applied to holders of a second-level degree). Polimi bachelor students coming from 'Ingegneria Chimica' may instead meet the continuity rule: at least 105 CFU with an average grade of at least 25/30 before the end of the fall (first) semester of the second year, and the bachelor earned within 4 years of enrolment. Candidates with a BSc in Chemical Engineering issued by Politecnico di Milano or by other Italian universities who meet these requirements are automatically admitted. Polimi L-8/L-9 engineering graduates with a weighted average of at least 28/30 are admitted without curricular integrations. Foreign-degree applicants: a bachelor comparable to an Italian first-level degree that gives access to EQF level 7, 'a solid preparation in the core areas of Chemical Engineering', and the Admissions Office's country-specific minimum CGPA where one is set (for example India 70/100, China 80%, Turkey 3/4, Iran 15.5/20, Pakistan 3.3/4).
