A bachelor's or higher degree awarded abroad (normally after at least three years and valid for entry to the corresponding master's level in the awarding system) is required for the non-EU-abroad call. Preferred academic backgrounds are chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, chemistry, industrial chemistry, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, and materials engineering. For the general programme regulations, holders of Italian classes L-9 Industrial Engineering or L-27 Chemical Sciences and Technologies (or corresponding former classes 10-21) are eligible but admission is not automatic; other Italian or foreign qualifications are assessed for suitability by the Degree Programme Council. Personal preparation is checked from the academic record and, under the programme regulation, an individual interview.

Good written and spoken English at CEFR B2 or higher is required.

Sınav / değerlendirme

The 2026/27 non-EU-abroad route is a qualification-based selection scored out of 100: academic record up to 50 points, relevance of previous studies/experience up to 40, reference letter up to 5, and statement of purpose/motivation up to 5. Applicants scoring at least 50/100 are suitable. The admission board may invite applicants to an online interview and/or test. The latest programme regulation additionally states that personal preparation and B2 English are assessed through transcript analysis and an individual interview.

• Bachelor's degree certificate, or enrolment certificate stating the expected graduation date, with official Italian or English translation if needed

• Transcript listing courses, examinations and grades, including the grading scale and GPA where applicable, with official translation if needed

• Course syllabi on official university letterhead or validated with the university stamp

• Reference letter, preferably from a university lecturer and written specifically for the admission application

• English-language Europass-format curriculum vitae
