A bachelor's degree, three-year university diploma, or suitable foreign qualification is required. The 2026/27 open-access annex directly identifies Italian classes L-25 (or former class 20), L-2, L-13, L-21, L-26, L-27, L-29, L-32 and L-38. Graduates from another Italian or foreign degree may also qualify if the Degree Course Council recognizes the degree as suitable, verifies adequate personal preparation, and the applicant has at least 60 ECTS in the specified AGRI, BIOS, CHEM, PHYS, CEAR, INFO, IINF, MATH, ECON and MVET sectors. Foreign curricula not expressed in SSD/CFU are assessed for equivalent credits and educational content by the committee.

Good knowledge of English at CEFR B2 or higher is required. In the 2026/27 non-EU-abroad selection, this is attested through the listed certificate thresholds or an accepted exemption.

Sınav / değerlendirme

The open-access route verifies personal preparation through an oral interview on 22 September 2026 at 09:30, either in person at Di3A, Via Santa Sofia 98-100, Catania, or online. It covers the published admission syllabus, motivation, synthesis, subject mastery and communication skills. For the non-EU-abroad selection, qualifications are scored out of 100: academic record up to 50 points, relevance of previous studies and experience up to 40, reference letter up to 5, and statement of purpose/motivation up to 5. The board may request an online interview/test; 50/100 is the suitability threshold.

• • Non-EU-abroad selection: passport personal-data pages; bachelor's certificate or enrolment certificate stating the expected graduation date; official Italian or English translation where needed; transcript listing courses, examinations, grades, grading range and preferably GPA; official course syllabi on university letterhead or bearing the university stamp; reference letter, preferably from a university lecturer
  • Europass-format CV in English
  • English-language certificate or exemption evidence; statement of purpose in English (maximum 4,000 characters); summary sheet; and any optional supporting documents. EU/equated applicants with a foreign title must provide the foreign bachelor's qualification, academic record/transcript or self-certification, identity document, and recognition documentation required by the pre-evaluation/enrolment route.
