For the 2026/27 non-EU-abroad call, applicants need a bachelor's or higher degree awarded abroad after at least three years of study and suitable for entry to a master's degree in the awarding country. For the Italian/EU/equated open-access route, accepted qualifications are an L-9 Industrial Engineering degree, an L-8 Information Engineering degree, or another suitable qualification, including a foreign one, subject to minimum curriculum checks. The alternative curriculum requires 6 CFU in MATH-02/A or MATH-02/B; 12 CFU in MATH-03/A; 6 CFU in CHEM-03/A, CHEM-06/A or IMAT-01/A; 12 CFU in IIET-01/A, IIND-08/A or IIND-08/B; and 6 CFU in IINF-04/A. In addition, all applicants must have at least 36 CFU in the listed basic-science/computing subject group and 18 CFU in the listed electrical/automation subject group. For foreign curricula not expressed in CFU, 6 or 9 CFU is treated as one corresponding examination and 12 CFU as two examinations.

Good knowledge of English at CEFR B2 or higher. For the 2026/27 non-EU-abroad selection this may be shown by one of the listed certificates or an accepted exemption. For the Italian/EU/equated open-access route, English at no less than B2 is checked for candidates who do not hold a certificate.

Sınav / değerlendirme

The board first evaluates the curriculum and personal preparation. For the non-EU-abroad selection, qualifications are scored out of 100: academic record up to 50 points, relevance of prior studies and experience up to 40, reference letter up to 5 and motivation up to 5; the board may require an online interview or test, and 50/100 is the suitability threshold. For the Italian/EU/equated route, the board may verify foundational competence in ING-IND/31 and checks B2 English for applicants without certification. Any interview was scheduled for 21 September 2026 at 10:00 in room P7, fifth floor, Building 3, DIEEI, Viale A. Doria 6, Catania. If an additional test/interview is required, EUR 35 is charged with the second tuition instalment.
