A.Y. 2026/27. Qualification: a three-year first-cycle degree/diploma, or a foreign qualification suitable under Italian law that gives access to a similar programme in the issuing country. Curricular requirements (Degree Teaching Regulation, summarised on the programme's how-to-enrol page): Italian first-cycle degree in class L-9, or in another class with at least 18 credits in ING-IND/24, ING-IND/25, ING-IND/26, ING-IND/27; foreign degrees are judged eligible by an Admission Board when an equivalent class or equivalent sectors/credits can be identified. Adequacy of prior preparation: Italian graduates with at least 27 CFU in ING-IND/24-27 or a graduation mark of at least 100/110; graduating students with at least 165 ECTS carrying a mark (not pass/fail) and a CPGA of at least 27/30; foreign-degree holders assessed case by case. Graduating students can apply but must obtain the bachelor's degree by 31 December 2026, otherwise the registration is cancelled (admission notice; the how-to-enrol page still shows the old date 31 December 2025).

A.Y. 2026/27. English at CEFR B2 or higher, proven at application with a certificate. Accepted (programme how-to-enrol page): a language test passed (idoneità) at the University of Bologna Language Centre (CLA) or another Italian university language centre; an international B2 certificate such as IELTS 5.5, TOEFL PBT 507-557, TOEFL CBT 180-217, TOEFL iBT 80-99, Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) or Trinity College London ISE II. The requirement is also fulfilled by a university degree fully taught in English lasting at least 2 academic years (120 ECTS) obtained in an EU/EEA country or in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the West Indies, Guyana or Switzerland, with English as medium of instruction clearly written on the transcript; English certificates or MOI certificates from universities of countries not on this list are not admissible. No Italian-language requirement for the English curriculum (the Italian requirement on the Italian site applies to the Italian-taught curricula).

No written entrance exam is specified. Admission is based on committee assessment of the submitted documentation and verification of personal competencies and skills. The programme page states that adequacy of prior preparation is met by the listed CFU or graduation-mark thresholds for Italian degrees, while foreign-degree holders are assessed case by case.
