Applicants need a first-cycle academic qualification or an equivalent foreign qualification suitable for access to a comparable second-cycle programme. For applicants with an Italian qualification, accepted classes are L-5 Philosophy, L-20 Communication, and L-24 Psychology. Applicants from other classes are also eligible if they hold at least 12 ECTS split as follows: 6 ECTS in PHIL-02/A (M-FIL/02) Logic and Philosophy of Science or PHIL-04/B (M-FIL/05) Philosophy and Theory of Language, and 6 ECTS in one or more of the listed psychology groups (PSIC-01/A, PSIC-01/B, PSIC-01/C, PSIC-02/A, PSIC-03/B). Applicants who have not yet graduated may apply only if they only need to complete the final examination and have a weighted average mark of at least 24.42; the degree must then be obtained by 31 Aralık 2026.

English proficiency at CEFR B2 is mandatory. The requirement can be met by submitting a recognized certificate listed on the programme's official English-language requirement page, by submitting a self-declaration as a native English speaker, or by submitting a certificate stating that a bachelor's or master's degree was taught in English as the medium of instruction.

Sınav / değerlendirme

The interview is compulsory for all candidates. Adequate personal competencies and skills are deemed fulfilled only if the candidate has a final graduation mark of at least 90/110 and passes the remote interview; for candidates who only need the final examination, the grade threshold is replaced by a weighted average mark of at least 24.42. Graduates below 90/110 and graduating candidates below 24.42 are not invited to the interview.

• Front and back copy of a valid identity document; if the document is not translated into English, a copy of the passport.

• For University of Bologna applicants: the system self-certification of the previous or current academic career, or another document certifying the qualification.

• For applicants from another Italian university: self-certification of the first-cycle qualification with the list of exams taken; if not yet graduated, self-certification of exams already taken.
