Italian/EU call: at the application deadline, either (a) an Italian first-cycle degree in class L-8 (DM 270/04) or class 9 (DM 509/99), or (b) an Italian first-cycle degree in any class, or an equivalent foreign qualification, with at least 80 ECTS credits: at least 48 CFU in ING-INF/01, ING-INF/02, ING-INF/03, ING-INF/04, ING-INF/05, ING-INF/07, ING-IND/31, ING-IND/32, ING-IND/33, INF/01 and at least 32 CFU in MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/05-MAT/09, SECS-S/02, CHIM/03, CHIM/07, FIS/01, FIS/02, FIS/03. Undergraduates may apply with at least 138 ECTS by 3 July 2026 (at least 153 CFU by 22 September 2026 in the extraordinary selection) and must graduate by 20 December 2026. Non-EU call: a Bachelor's degree, three-year university diploma, specialist/Master's degree or pre-1999 five-year degree held by 17 April 2026, with suitable knowledge of basic sciences (mathematics, information technology, statistics, physics, chemistry) and preparatory engineering subjects; a Board evaluates the curricular requirements from the submitted study curriculum. Accepted: TOEFL iBT 72+, IELTS 5.5+, Pearson Test of English Academic 59+, Cambridge FCE, CAE, CPE, Trinity ISE II/III/IV, B2 exam/'idoneita' from an Italian university language centre (non-EU call: Italian or European), or a university degree fully taught in English lasting at least 2 academic years (120 ECTS) in an EU/EEA country, the UK, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, with English as medium of instruction stated on the transcript; for degrees from other countries the committee evaluates English at the interview. Italian/EU call only: applicants objectively unable to obtain a certificate could request Parma's on-campus B2 English test by 1 June 2026. The interview is held in English. No Italian requirement.
