Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree in one of the following classes, or an equivalent foreign degree: L-16 Business administration, L-18 Economics and business administration, L-33 Economics, L-41 Statistics, L-31 Computer Science and Technologies, L-8 Information Engineering, or L-9 Industrial Engineering. Applicants from other classes are also eligible if they have at least 36 ECTS in business, economics, and computer science areas, with at least 24 ECTS specifically in the business and computer science scientific-disciplinary sectors listed in the call. Curricular requirements must be met by the application deadline of the relevant intake. Applicants who have not yet graduated may still apply, but must obtain the degree by 31 Aralık 2026.

A.Y. 2026/27: English at CEFR B2 or higher is required and must be proved when applying (it is binding for the application and must be held by the intake deadline). Accepted proofs: a certificate of at least B2 among those listed by the University Language Centre (CLA) at https://centri.unibo.it/cla/it/riconoscimento-idoneita-linguistica, regardless of the test date; a certificate (or self-certification for exams taken in Italy) of an English exam or 'idoneita' at B2 or higher passed during university studies, with the level explicitly stated; a certificate of a first- or second-cycle degree taught entirely in English, stating the language of instruction; a self-certification of a B2 English test passed at the CLA of the University of Bologna or of another Italian university; native-speaker status, stated in the CV form; a certificate of an exchange study/internship period of at least 3 months in an English-speaking country; a certificate of an exchange study/internship in English of at least 3 months in a non-English-speaking country; or a pass in the OOPT (Oxford Online Placement Test) at the University of Bologna CLA or another authorised institution - the programme offers free online OOPT sessions for applicants without a certificate (one attempt only, to be taken before the intake deadline). Italian: the official Italian call (which prevails over the English abstract) also states that knowledge of Italian at least at CEFR B2 is required and that foreign students without it must include training activities to reach that level in their study plan; this is not an admission condition and is not mentioned in the English abstract.

Sınav / değerlendirme

Admission is competitive and limited to 70 places. The selection has two phases. Phase I evaluates qualifications based on the weighted average mark of passed exams and requires at least 15/40 to move on. Phase II is an interview held in English and scored with the CV-based assessment; candidates need at least 35/60 in phase II, and at least 50/100 overall, to enter the final ranking. The interview is held online using Microsoft Teams and assesses the curriculum/resume, logical reasoning, relational, interaction, and oral comprehension skills.

• Online application form including the Curriculum Vitae (mandatory).

• For students and graduates from Italian universities: self-certification of passed exams with grades, ECTS/credits, scientific area or SSD, and final graduation mark for graduates.

• For students and graduates from foreign universities: transcript of all passed exams with grades, credits/ECTS or workload in hours, and final graduation mark; if not in English, Italian, French, or Spanish, a translation into English or Italian.

• Copy of a valid identity document; for candidates residing abroad, a copy of the passport if the local ID document is not in English.

• Certificate of English proficiency at least at B2 level.
