• A.Y. 2026/27. Qualification: a Bachelor's degree or university diploma of at least three years, or a foreign qualification recognised as suitable. Curricular requirements (at least one): (1) a first-cycle degree in class L-7 Civil and Environmental Engineering, L-17 Architecture or L-23 Building Sciences (DM 270/04), or class 4 Architectural Sciences and Building Engineering (DM 509/99)
• (2) a degree in another class with all three: at least 18 credits in ICAR/10, ICAR/11, ICAR/12, ICAR/14, ICAR/19, ICAR/20; at least 24 credits in ICAR/01, ICAR/02, ICAR/06, ICAR/07, ICAR/08, ICAR/09, ICAR/22, ING-IND/11, IUS/10, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/06; at least 20 credits in MAT and FIS
• (3) a foreign university qualification judged suitable by the Admission Board (equivalent class/credits, or individual review of background in construction engineering, conservation of historic buildings, architecture and urban planning, structural mechanics). Personal preparation is verified on the uploaded documents: fulfilled with a graduation grade of at least 77/110, or a weighted average of at least 21/30 for graduating students; lower grades, or foreign qualifications without a grade conversion, are assessed case by case by the Admission Board (grades in single courses, disciplinary knowledge, duration of studies). Graduating students may apply with at least 165 ECTS/CFU registered and must graduate by 31 December 2026.

A.Y. 2026/27. English at CEFR B2 or higher, fulfilled at the application stage by uploading proof: an internationally recognised certificate from the programme's list (B2 minimums include IELTS Academic or General Training 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80, PTE Academic 59, Trinity ISE II with all 4 modules, Cambridge B2 First grade B/C (160-179) or higher Cambridge levels, IGCSE English as a Second Language grade A*-C); a B2 'idoneita' (self-certification) from the University of Bologna Language Centre (CLA) or another Italian university; or a previous bachelor's degree fully taught in English in an EU/EEA country, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the West Indies, Guyana or Switzerland, with English as medium of instruction stated on the transcript or certified by the university. English certificates or MOI statements from universities of other countries are not accepted. Italian: no Italian proof is required for admission, but basic knowledge of Italian is needed to complete the programme because one mandatory second-year activity is held in Italian.

Sınav / değerlendirme

No separate written entrance test is specified in the official notice. Admission is open access but conditional on the Admission Board's verification of personal knowledge and skills and of the curricular and language requirements. The programme page states that the Committee will set a schedule for the evaluations and publish it on the University website.
