- Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree or suitable foreign qualification. The programme enrolment page lists the Italian reference classes L-9 and L-8 under Ministerial Decree 270/04 and class 10 and class 9 under Ministerial Decree 509/99, and also lists LM-25, LM-27, LM-29 and LM-30 / 29-S, 30-S, 32-S and 33-S as accepted backgrounds. Applicants must also have at least 6 CFU in one of the following subject areas: ING-IND/31, ING-IND/32, ING-IND/33 or ING-INF/07. For foreign qualifications, the board assesses previous studies case by case and may establish differentiated curricula if needed. For graduating students, the page states that adequate prior preparation is satisfied only if they have at least 159 graded CFU and meet one of the listed CGPA-and-credit combinations in MAT/FIS and the electrical-engineering sectors named on the programme page.

- English at CEFR B2 or higher is required. The programme page accepts IELTS 5.5-6.5, TOEFL iBT 72-94, Trinity College London ISE II, Cambridge First Certificate, TOEIC with the listed component scores, PTE Academic 59-75, or a B2 curricular suitability certificate from the University of Bologna Language Centre or another Italian university language centre. English proficiency certificates or medium-of-instruction certificates issued by foreign universities are not admissible. The page also waives English proof for applicants who completed an academic degree in English or who are nationals of the listed English-speaking countries on the official page.
- Sınav / Test
- There is no separate written entrance exam in the 2026/2027 sources reviewed. Admission is open access but conditional on committee evaluation of the application documents. The shared admissions call says a special committee examines the submitted documentation, and the programme enrolment page states that the committee analyses the CV and any other document certifying its contents to verify personal competencies and skills.
