- Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree, a three-year university diploma, or another suitable foreign qualification. Access is reserved to graduates in class L-27 Chemistry, L-32 Environmental Sciences, the previous classes 21 Chemistry or 27 Environmental Sciences, or L-SC.MAT. Materials Science. Applicants from other classes may still qualify if they hold at least 10 ECTS in MAT/01-09 and FIS/01-08, at least 20 ECTS in CHIM/01-12, and at least 30 ECTS in BIO/01-19, GEO/01-12, and AGR/01-19. For foreign qualifications, the Admission Board checks whether the number and scientific content of completed exams are suitable for evaluation. Admission also depends on an assessment of personal preparation based on academic records and uploaded documents.
- Dil Koşulları
- English at CEFR B2 is required. The requirement can be met during the application phase through a suitable certificate recognized by the University Language Centre, a transcript showing a clearly labelled CEFR B2 English exam, native-speaker status, a B2 certification issued by an Italian University Language Centre or another recognized certifying body, or the University of Bologna CLA Oxford online English proficiency test with a result of at least B2. The call states that previous study taught in English does not by itself satisfy the language requirement.
- Sınav / Test
- There is no standard written entrance exam. The Admission Board evaluates the documents submitted in the application phase and may require an additional individual online interview if the documentation is not sufficient to assess personal competencies and skills. Candidates found not admitted in an intake cannot participate in subsequent intakes.

- Valid identity document; if the candidate is a foreign citizen and the identity document has no English translation, a copy of the passport.
- Proof of the access qualification: the relevant University of Bologna self-certification, another document certifying the degree obtained, or if still graduating the updated record of completed exams.
- If the qualification was obtained abroad: copy of the qualification translated into Italian or English, with transcript of records and Diploma Supplement where available; if not yet graduated, the transcript of records/list of exams taken.
- Proof of English proficiency at CEFR B2 according to the call.

- Detailed syllabus outlining the basic elements of previous courses, including covered topics and tests, assignments, and their weightings.

- The 2026/2027 call PDF cover identifies the academic year correctly, but one sentence in the body says there is no maximum number of enrolments in A.Y. 2025/26; this appears to be a carry-over typo and the file is otherwise the 2026/2027 call.
- The extracted PDF text merges some intake rows in the schedule table, but the closing dates for Intakes 1 to 4 are clear and are the values used in the deadline fields.
- The call says the deadline by which still-graduating applicants must obtain their first-cycle degree will be indicated later on the degree website, so no additional application-stage graduation deadline is added beyond the explicit intake deadlines.
