- Applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent recognized for admission and must satisfy the entry requirements no later than 31 December 2026. The 2026/2027 sources state 180 credits are required for admission. Directly eligible Italian degree classes are L-27 Chemical Sciences and Technologies and L-29 Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies, including the corresponding classes under DM 509/99. Applicants from other degree classes, as well as holders of master's, specialist, or four-year degrees admitted by the competent boards, must have at least 35 ECTS across mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, with at least 25 ECTS in chemistry and biology and at least 15 ECTS in chemistry. Degrees obtained abroad may be accepted if recognized as corresponding to the relevant Italian degrees. The Admission Committee verifies curricular requirements and personal preparation; for foreign qualifications it evaluates the diploma supplement and may request an interview for clarification.
- Dil Koşulları
- English proficiency at CEFR B2 or higher is required for admission. UniMi states that this can be proven by: a UniMi-accepted English certificate at B2 or above, earned no more than 3 years before submission (2 years for TOEFL) and uploaded during the admission procedure; a SLAM-certified English level obtained during a University of Milan degree programme no more than 4 years before the application date, checked automatically; or the SLAM English entry test. On the CosmIS application page, applicants without a valid certificate are directed to the SLAM entry test. The inspected SLAM 2026/2027 deadline table lists Cosmetic Industrial Science with a final deadline of 31 December 2026 to submit a certificate if the SLAM test is failed or missed without justification.
- Sınav / Test
- A compulsory admission test applies to all applicants, including transfer students from other universities or programmes. The 2026/2027 course page states two sessions: 12 May 2026 and 9 September 2026; non-EU candidates applying for a student visa may sit only the first session on 12 May 2026. The test may be taken only once. Admission requires a score above the committee threshold, defined on the course page as at least 50% correct answers; borderline results between 45% and 49% may lead to curriculum review and a remote interview. The test covers biology, human physiology, biochemistry, and general, analytical, inorganic, and organic chemistry. The additional information section states that the test consists of 36 multiple-choice questions (24 chemistry and 12 biology), lasts 90 minutes, is delivered on Zoom, and is scored as +1 for each correct answer, -0.25 for each incorrect answer, and 0 for unanswered questions.
