EU Deadline
Italian, EU residents and equivalent applicants not applying for a visa: application from 24 March 2026 to 12 June 2026 at 12:00 noon; entrance test on 26 June 2026 at 11:00; ranking list publication on 2 July 2026 after 2:00pm; enrolment from 2 July 2026 at 2:00pm to 9 July 2026 at 12:00 noon.
Non-EU Deadline
Non-EU candidates applying for a visa: application from 24 March 2026 to 29 May 2026; ranking result by 11 June 2026 at 2:00pm; enrolment from 11 June 2026 at 2:00pm to 18 June 2026 at 12:00 noon; first update enrolment from 19 June 2026 at 2:00pm to 2 July 2026 at 12:00 noon; second update enrolment from 3 July 2026 at 2:00pm to 15 July 2026 at 12:00 noon; Universitaly pre-enrolment must be submitted by 31 July 2026.
Akademik Koşullar
Applicants need a bachelor's degree or an equivalent foreign qualification recognized as suitable by the University; the official manifesto states that 180 credits are required for admission. They must have at least 30 ECTS in computer science, mathematics, applied physics, statistics or econometrics and/or political science and sociology, including at least 12 ECTS in political science/sociology (SPS/04 and SPS/07-SPS/12) and at least 9 ECTS in statistics (SECS-S/01-SECS-S/06; SECS-P/05). The call is also open to students in the final year of a first-cycle degree, in Italy or abroad, provided they graduate by 31 December 2026. Admission is conditional on assessment of personal competences and skills: Italian/EU/equivalent applicants not applying for a visa take the entrance test, while non-EU visa applicants are evaluated on their academic and personal CV plus an online interview.
Dil Koşulları
English proficiency at CEFR B2 or higher is required for admission. UniMi SLAM verifies this in one of three official ways: a recognized B2-or-higher certificate issued no more than 3 years before the application date and uploaded with the online application; a SLAM-certified English level obtained during a UniMi degree no more than 4 years before the application date, checked automatically; or the SLAM English entry test, scheduled in the call on 29 July 2026. If an applicant does not submit a valid certificate and does not take or pass the SLAM test, they must submit a recognized language certificate via InformaStudenti by 31 December 2026. [uncertain] The admission call also says admitted non-EU candidates applying for a visa can enrol only if they pass the Italian language proficiency test unless exempt, but the linked UniMi international-enrolment page states that the Italian test applies to degree programmes taught in Italian; because this programme is officially taught in English, the applicability of that Italian-language-test rule to this programme is unclear from the official sources checked.
Sınav / Test
For Italian/EU/equivalent applicants not applying for a visa, admission is based on a remote online written test in English on 26 June 2026 at 11:00. The test covers basic competences in statistics, sociology and political science. Correct answers score 1 point; wrong or missing answers score 0; the test can be taken only once. Candidates must show a valid ID and may not use books, handwritten notes, calculators, smartphones or similar devices during the exam. The call also lists suggested preparation texts in statistics, programming logic, sociology and comparative politics. For non-EU applicants applying for a visa, selection is based on the academic and personal CV plus an online video interview; the outcome is sent by email by 11 June 2026.

Belirsizlik Notları

  • The 2026/2027 call says admitted non-EU applicants applying for a visa can enrol only if they pass the Italian language proficiency test unless exempt, but the linked official UniMi international-enrolment page says that Italian test applies to degree programmes taught in Italian. Because Computational Social and Political Science is officially taught in English, the applicability of that Italian-language-test rule to this programme remains unclear.
  • The programme application page says a comprehensive list of interview topics for non-EU visa applicants is published on the programme website, but no stable public page or PDF containing that topic list was found among the inspected official CSPS pages. The JSON therefore records the existence of the interview without inventing a topic list.
