A.Y. 2026/27 (University of Milano-Bicocca admission notice). A bachelor's degree (or three-year university diploma) or equivalent foreign qualification, with at least 30 CFU/ECTS in total in INF/01, ING-INF/05, ING-INF/03, MAT/01-MAT/09, SECS-S/01-SECS-S/06, FIS/01-FIS/08 (single-course credits can count), plus English at B2. Applicants meeting the 30-CFU requirement are exempt from the interview with a bachelor grade of 100/110 or higher, or a master's degree in LM-17, LM-18, LM-21, LM-25, LM-27, LM-32, LM-35, LM-40, LM-44, LM-66, LM-82 or LM-91, or with a grade of 95-99/110 plus at least 20 CFU in computer science, 15 in mathematics and 5 in statistics/probability. Others are admitted to the remote interview only with a grade of 85/110 or higher and at least 6 CFU in computer science, 6 in mathematics and 4 in statistics/probability; applicants who fit none of these cases are not admitted. Graduands are assessed on their weighted average and must graduate by 31 December 2026 (second period: by 26 February 2027). The interview checks basic computer science, mathematics, statistics and physics.

Taught entirely in English; English B2 (CEFR) is an admission requirement (A.Y. 2026/27, University of Milano-Bicocca rules). Applicants with an Italian qualification meet it with English exams of at least 5 CFU at B2 in their university career, a Bicocca-recognised certificate of at least B2 obtained no more than 5 years earlier, the Bicocca Bbetween English Open Badge B2+ (Bicocca students), a bachelor's degree taught entirely in English, or a passport from a listed English-speaking country (e.g. UK, USA, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand); the requirement must be met by the application deadline, otherwise they can take an in-person Bicocca English test (sessions 23-30 March, 22 June - 3 July and 2-7 September 2026). Applicants with a foreign qualification upload an English certificate on DreamApply (by 31 July 2026 or the call deadline); certificates are valid for 5 years. Bicocca's B2 thresholds include IELTS Academic/General 5.5-6.5, TOEFL iBT 72-94, Cambridge English scale 160-179 (First), PTE Academic 59-75, Trinity ISE II, Oxford Test of English 111-140, LanguageCert/City & Guilds Communicator. Visa applicants must hold an English or Italian B2 certificate accepted by Bicocca. No Italian requirement.

A.Y. 2026/27 (University of Milano-Bicocca): no written entrance test; remote interview by the Evaluation Committee on basic computer science (programming, algorithms, data structures, AI), mathematics (linear algebra, calculus, series), statistics (descriptive statistics, probability, random variables, inference, linear model) and physics (statics, dynamics, energy, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics). Interview dates for Italian-qualification applicants: 11 June, 16 July and 10 September 2026 (9:00 a.m.), and 16 February 2027 for the January 2027 period. Exempt: bachelor grade 100/110 or higher (or a master's degree in listed classes), or 95-99/110 with at least 20 CFU computer science, 15 mathematics and 5 statistics; admitted to the interview only with at least 85/110 and 6/6/4 CFU. Italian-qualification candidates without an English B2 proof can take an in-person Bicocca English test. The interview arrangements for foreign-qualification (DreamApply) applicants are not stated separately in the notice.

• A.Y. 2026/27, Italian academic qualification (Bicocca Segreterie Online): valid ID document (identity card or passport).

• Digital ID photo (at least 300x400 pixels, face on a light background).

• Graduates / graduands of other universities: signed self-certification ('Autocertificazione titoli e/o esami') of the degree or enrolment, graduation mark, exams passed, CFU and scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD).

• Proof of English B2 (see language requirements); syllabi of courses outside the listed SSDs if they are used to meet the credit conditions.

• Other qualifications or statements of relevant activities (optional); graduands also fill in the 'Admission Questionnaire'.

• Payment of the EUR 30 career-assessment fee by the window deadline.
