EU Deadline
22 January 2026 to 20 July 2026 for the online admission application for EU candidates and equivalents.
Non-EU Deadline
22 January 2026 to 30 April 2026 for the online admission application for non-EU candidates applying for a visa; Universitaly pre-enrolment must be submitted by 31 July 2026.
Akademik Koşullar
Applicants must hold an Italian bachelor's degree in class L-16, L-18, or L-33 (or DM 509/99 equivalent), or another degree that includes at least 24 CFU/ECTS divided as follows: at least 12 CFU/ECTS in business/management (SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10, SECS-P/11, ING-IND/35), at least 6 CFU/ECTS in economics (SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/12), and at least 6 CFU/ECTS in mathematics/statistics (SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03, SECS-S/04, SECS-S/05, SECS-S/06, MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/09). These curricular requirements must be met by the date the admission application is effectively submitted. Candidates with foreign qualifications may apply if the degree is recognized as suitable by the University under the applicable ministerial rules and bilateral agreements. Minimum curricular requirements are necessary but not sufficient: applicants are also assessed by the Admission Board on personal competencies and skills. Applicants must obtain the bachelor's degree by 31 December 2026.
Dil Koşulları
English proficiency at CEFR B2 or higher is required for admission. The requirement can be satisfied by: a recognized B2-or-higher certificate issued within three years before the admission application and uploaded with the online application; or an English level previously achieved in a University of Milan degree programme and certified by SLAM within four years before the admission application, in which case recognition is automatic. Applicants without a valid certificate are directed to the University Language Centre (SLAM) entry test; the SLAM English test can be taken only once per academic year. If an applicant fails or misses the SLAM test, they may still submit a recognized B2-or-higher certificate to SLAM via InformaStudenti by 31 August 2026. Applicants who do not meet the English requirement by that deadline are not admitted. The MIE application page also states that medium-of-instruction letters are never accepted. No Italian admission-language requirement is stated.
Sınav / Test
Applicants are asked to take a compulsory online background knowledge test covering Basics of Management, Marketing and Strategy, Financial Accounting, and Statistics. The test is multiple choice, lasts 60 minutes, includes 40 questions, and requires at least 20 correct answers to pass, with no penalty for wrong answers. It can be taken only once, and candidates must take the session to which they are invited; missing that session means they cannot sit another one. The 2026 sessions published on the official MIE application page are 9 April 2026 (for applications by 31 March), 14 May 2026 (for applications by 30 April, and the last session for non-EU visa applicants), 10 June 2026 (for applications by 31 May), and 31 July 2026 (for applications by 20 July). Candidates who do not sit the test or do not reach the minimum threshold are not further evaluated. After the test, the Admission Board checks curricular requirements and then evaluates academic merit and choice coherence using the submitted documents; it may additionally request an oral interview in English via electronic means.
