Kampüs

TWO CAMPUSES, ONE PER YEAR. Year 1: Trento - Department of Economics and Management (Dipartimento di Economia e Management), via Vigilio Inama 5, 38122 Trento (TN); this is the 'LOCATION' given in the corsi.unitn.it fact box and the 'Sede' given by the orientation catalogue. Year 2: Pisa - Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies), Institute of Management. The official programme page states: 'The program spans two years, with the first year in Trento dedicated to core courses and the second year in Pisa completing the curriculum with both core and elective courses.' The official UniTrento MAIN brochure repeats: 'The first year in Trento is dedicated to the core courses, the second year in Pisa completes the curriculum with core as well as elective courses.' Applicants must therefore plan to relocate from Trento to Pisa for the second year. Lessons take place only in person ('Lessons take place only in person'), and admitted students must be physically in Trento for the start of classes (intake in late August; the exact arrival date is notified by the University in summer). Administratively the host department is the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento.

Kabul Tipi

Restricted access / numero programmato (limited number of places), by public selection based on qualifications and - only if the Committee considers it necessary - an interview. There is no TOLC, no SAT, no CISIA test and no compulsory written entrance exam. Art. 1 of the 2026/27 call: 'The University of Trento announces a public selection based on qualifications and (if appropriate) interview ... Entry is restricted to 35 places. This figure includes 20 places reserved to non-European citizens. Any remaining places will be available for European citizens and Equivalents.' Accordingly the two admission webpages publish: non-Europeans 'Seats available: 20 (limited number)'; Europeans and equivalents 'Seats available: 15 (limited number)'. The orientation catalogue confirms 'Ammissione: numero programmato'. Both applicant categories go through the SAME competitive selection with the same requirements, the same EUR 30 application fee, the same 100-point scoring grid and the same EUR 100 confirmation fee - the only structural differences are the reserved-seat split and the fact that only Europeans and equivalents may use the second call. This is materially different from most other UniTrento master's degrees, where the European track is free access with mere requirement verification.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

Case (1): fully English-taught. The corsi.unitn.it programme fact box states 'LANGUAGE: English'; Art. 1 of the 2026/27 admission call reads 'the official language of the Programme is English'; the orientation catalogue states 'Durata e lingua del corso: 2 anni, in lingua inglese'. There is no Italian-language track or percorso inside the degree and no Italian-language admission requirement of any kind (unlike UniTrento's Agrifood Innovation Management, which does require basic Italian). No taught credits are delivered in Italian. Note that the programme's internal regulations, study plans and other institutional documents are published only in Italian ('Programme regulations, Study plans and other institutional documents are available only in Italian'), and the binding version of the admission call is the Italian one - but this affects paperwork, not teaching.

A non-refundable application fee of EUR 30.00 applies to each application. Both calls were closed at the time of research (31 August 2026) and the UniTrento Apply portal shows 'No active applications for this type' for degree courses in English. Related binding dates: rankings published by 30 April 2026 (first call) and by 31 July 2026 (second call); bachelor's degree to be obtained by 31 October 2026; enrolment at the University of Trento to be completed no later than 31 October 2026, otherwise the candidate is excluded from the programme; confirmation fee of EUR 100 within the deadline communicated in the admission notice, waived for second-call admittees who enrol within 7 days of the admission notice. NOTE FOR 2027/2028: no call has been published yet; by analogy with the 2026/27 call, which was signed in Trento on 17 December 2025, the next first call is expected around December 2026.

AB / AEA dışı adaylar

A.y. 2026/2027, non-Europeans (citizens of countries outside the EU living outside Italy): ONE call only, the first call - from 17 December 2025 to 4 MARCH 2026 at 12:00 noon (CET). Non-Europeans cannot use the second call: 'Second call: from 15 April 2026 to 29 May 2026 at noon (CET) only for Europeans and equivalents.' A non-refundable application fee of EUR 30.00 must be paid by the same deadline, otherwise the applicant is automatically excluded. The application was closed at the time of research (31 August 2026). Downstream deadlines for non-Europeans: ranking published by 30 April 2026; confirmation fee of EUR 100 within the deadline communicated by UniTrento staff; pre-enrolment on Universitaly within 2 weeks from confirmation; bachelor's degree to be obtained by 30 June 2026 (or by 31 October 2026 for non-Europeans graduating from an Italian university with a valid Italian study permit); VISA to be obtained no later than 30 SEPTEMBER 2026, otherwise the admission is rejected; enrolment at the University of Trento no later than 31 October 2026. Note that the visa hard stop (30 September 2026) is one month earlier than the equivalent date used in some other UniTrento calls (31 October).

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • 1) DEGREE: a Bachelor's Degree (first-cycle degree) of at least 3 years, or a higher qualification, awarded in Italy or an international qualification recognised as equivalent. No specific Italian degree class (L-xx) is prescribed and no minimum GPA or final grade threshold is published; eligibility is driven entirely by the credit requirement below plus the competitive score. UniTrento may require a CIMEA statement of verification and/or statement of comparability (DiploMe service) to evaluate a foreign qualification. Admission is conditional upon the positive evaluation of the authenticity and eligibility of the degree, which is carried out after admission. 2) MINIMUM 40 CFU/ECTS RULE - the binding curricular requirement, identical for both applicant categories: at least 8 CFU in the ECONOMICS area, from SECS-P/01 (ECON-01A), SECS-P/02 (ECON-02/A), SECS-P/04 (STEC-01/A), SECS-P/05 (ECON-05/A), SECS-P/06 (ECON-04/A), ING-IND/35 (IEGE-01/A)
  • AND at least 12 CFU in the BUSINESS, TECHNICAL-PRODUCTION AND IT/COMPUTER SCIENCE areas, from SECS-P/07 (ECON-06/A), SECS-P/08 (ECON-07/A), SECS-P/09 (ECON-09/A), ICAR/22 (CEAR-03/C), ING-IND/17 (IIND-05/A), ING-INF/05 (IINF-05/A), ING-IND/35 (IEGE-01/A)
  • AND at least 8 CFU in the MATHEMATICS AND QUANTITATIVE area, from SECS-S/01 (STAT-01/A), SECS-S/06 (STAT-04/A), MAT/01 (MATH-01/A), MAT/02 (MATH-02/A), MAT/03 (MATH-02/B), MAT/04 (MATH-01/B), MAT/05 (MATH-03/A). For international qualifications the Selection Committee assesses whether the applicant's study plan meets these binding requirements. 3) SEATS: 35 total for a.y. 2026/2027 - 20 reserved for non-Europeans living outside Italy, the remaining 15 for Europeans and equivalents. (The official UniTrento brochure separately describes the class size as 'Up to 28 students', which is the historical class size rather than the 2026/27 seat cap.) 4) GRADUATING APPLICANTS: candidates who do not yet hold the bachelor's degree may apply provided it is obtained by 30 June 2026 (non-Europeans) or by 31 October 2026 (Europeans and equivalents, and non-Europeans who obtain the qualification from an Italian university and hold a valid Italian study permit). 5) SCORING GRID (max 100 points, identical for both categories): (a) Curriculum studiorum - up to 40 points
Dil yeterliliği

ENGLISH ONLY - mandatory, minimum CEFR B2. No Italian-language requirement exists for this programme. B2 can be certified in any of the following ways (Art. 2.ii of the 2026/27 call): (a) an international certification from the accepted list - IELTS (overall min. 6), TOEFL (overall min. 72) [IELTS Indicator and TOEFL Home Edition are accepted]; FCE, CAE, CPE, Bulats min. 60, BEC Vantage, BEC Higher (Cambridge ESOL); ESOL Communicator + Spoken English Communicator, ESOL Expert + Spoken English Expert, ESOL Mastery + Spoken English Mastery (City & Guilds); ISE II, ISE III, ISE IV (Trinity College London); English for Business Level 2, 3, 4 (LCCI Examinations Board); Jetset level 5, 6, 7; Pearson General English Test Level 3, 4, 5; Pearson Academic English Test (minimum score 42); GMAT with a minimum score of 580. Unless otherwise specified by the awarding institution, a certificate is valid for 5 years. (b) having passed a B2 (or higher) English language exam during previous university studies; (c) a Bachelor's or Master's Degree run entirely in English (to be certified); (d) English as mother tongue - mother-tongue speakers must upload a self-certification stating they completed at least the entire course of primary and secondary education in English. GMAT AS ENGLISH PROOF - TWO DIFFERENT FIGURES ARE PUBLISHED: the admission webpages (both the non-European and the European versions) list two thresholds, 'GMAT score 580 or higher for GMAT Classic Edition' and 'GMAT score 545 or higher for GMAT Focus Edition', whereas the call PDF itself mentions only the single figure 'GMAT Test with a minimum score of 580' and does not distinguish the two GMAT editions. Applicants relying on a GMAT Focus score of 545-579 should confirm with main@unitn.it. VERIFICATION INTERVIEW: 'The Admission Committee may require an interview in order to verify the English level of the applicants.' There is NO UniTrento/CLA make-up English test route advertised for this programme (unlike several other UniTrento master's degrees). Separately, a GMAT or GRE score is also an OPTIONAL attachment that earns selection points (minimum GMAT score accepted for scoring purposes: 500) - so 500 is the scoring floor while 580 (Classic) is the language-proof floor; the two uses of GMAT must not be confused.

Sınav / değerlendirme

NO compulsory entrance exam. There is no TOLC/CISIA test, no SAT, and no written admission test of any kind. Selection is 'based on qualifications and (if appropriate) interview'. An INTERVIEW is discretionary and can be triggered in two situations: (a) 'The Admission Committee may require an interview in order to verify the English level of the applicants' (Art. 2.ii); (b) 'If the documents attached to the application do not provide enough information, the Selection Committee may ask to take an interview' (Art. 4.2). Most admitted candidates are therefore selected on the dossier alone. GMAT/GRE are EXPLICITLY OPTIONAL ('GMAT/GRE (not compulsory)' in the document list; 'GMAT/GRE (if obtained - not compulsory)' inside the 10-point 'International certifications' block of the scoring grid). Submitting a GMAT/GRE can only help: the minimum GMAT score accepted for scoring purposes is 500, and a GMAT of 580 or more can alternatively serve as proof of English B2. Selection criteria are set out in Art. 4 of the call; the Selection Committee has at least three members and publishes a ranking list for each call - by 30 April 2026 for the first call and by 31 July 2026 for the second call (the published 2026/27 ranking PDFs are dated April 2026 for the non-Europeans and first EU call, and July 2026 for the second EU call).

  • 1) SOURCE ACCESS / WAF: at the time of research (31 August 2026) corsi.unitn.it returned HTTP 405 and www.unitn.it returned HTTP 403 to direct requests (AWS WAF human-verification challenge), including for direct PDF URLs under /sites/cds/files/. All corsi.unitn.it and www.unitn.it content quoted above was therefore read from Internet Archive captures of the official URLs: programme page, both admission pages and the program-guide page captured 14 August 2026; official programme sheet captured 17 November 2025; the 12-page English admission call PDF and the non-EU tuition-fee page captured in 2026; the official MAIN brochure captured 18 January 2026. orienta.unitn.it and webapps.unitn.it/Apply were reachable live and were read directly. Figures should be re-verified against the live pages once the WAF allows access. 2) NAME COLLISION - DO NOT CONFUSE WITH 'AGRIFOOD INNOVATION MANAGEMENT': UniTrento also runs a separate Master's Degree in Agrifood Innovation Management (AIM, class LM-69 R, Center Agriculture Food Environment, San Michele all'Adige campus, 10 non-EU places, free access for Europeans, basic Italian required, EUR 6,000 fee cap). The two programmes share almost nothing: different degree class, department, campus, seats, access regime and fee group. The file 'admission-call-master-main-26-27.pdf' referenced in this record is the MAIN (Innovation Management) call and was verified page-by-page - its Art. 1 explicitly names 'the Master's Degree in Innovation Management (MAIN)' and the Department of Economics and Management. 3) BINDING ITALIAN CALL NOT DIRECTLY READ: only the English courtesy translation of the 2026/27 call ('The only binding version is the Italian one') could be retrieved; the Italian file bando-ammissione-lm-innovation-management-26-27.pdf is blocked by the WAF and has no Internet Archive capture. Any discrepancy between the two versions would be resolved in favour of the Italian text. 4) GMAT THRESHOLD DISCREPANCY: the admission webpages publish two GMAT thresholds for proving English B2 (580 Classic Edition / 545 Focus Edition) while the call PDF names only 'GMAT Test with a minimum score of 580' without distinguishing editions. Separately, GMAT/GRE as an OPTIONAL scoring attachment has a much lower floor (minimum GMAT accepted: 500). A candidate could easily confuse the 500 scoring floor with the 580/545 language-proof floor. 5) SEATS - TWO DIFFERENT NUMBERS IN OFFICIAL SOURCES: the 2026/27 call and the admission pages give 35 places (20 non-EU + 15 EU), while the official UniTrento MAIN brochure states 'Class size: Up to 28 students'. The brochure was printed in September 2023 and describes the typical enrolled cohort, not the 2026/27 seat cap; the call figure (35) is the binding one. The brochure's course list and its stated contact office (International Mobility Office, Social Sciences and Humanities Area, via Tommaso Gar 16/2) are also from 2023 and are superseded by main@unitn.it and by the current study plan on corsi.unitn.it. 6) 2026/27 RANKING FIGURES NOT VERIFIED: the three 2026/27 ranking PDFs are linked from the official admission pages but are blocked by the WAF and have no Internet Archive capture, so the actual number of admitted candidates, cut-off scores and number of scholarships awarded for 2026/27 could not be read. The procedural details and scholarship mechanics quoted here were corroborated against the retrievable 2025/26 non-European ranking, whose top four candidates (scores 80.60-86.38) received an 'Unconditional offer of place with UniTrento Scholarship'. 7) JOINT DEGREE vs SINGLE DEGREE: the official UniTrento brochure describes the qualification as a JOINT DEGREE awarded by both the University of Trento and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa, and a student testimonial on orienta.unitn.it speaks of a 'doppio titolo di laurea, rilasciato da entrambi gli atenei'. The current corsi.unitn.it programme page only says 'joint program' and the fact box lists a single degree class (LM-77) and a single department, so the exact legal form of the parchment (joint title vs double title vs UniTrento title with Sant'Anna involvement) is not restated on the current live pages. The relocation to Pisa for the second year, however, is stated identically on the programme page, the brochure and the orientation catalogue. 8) SANT'ANNA-SIDE ADMISSION ROUTE NOT VERIFIED FROM UNITN DOMAINS: Art. 3.3 of the call allows applicants selected 'within special Agreements' to apply under different deadlines and procedures. Publicly available Sant'Anna material describes reserved places for MAIN inside the Sant'Anna ordinary/honours-student competition with its own requirements (e.g. a weighted average of at least 27/30 and completion of the bachelor's degree within four years). That route sits outside the UniTrento domains permitted for this research and was NOT verified here; candidates interested in it should consult Sant'Anna directly. It does not change the UniTrento requirements described above. 9) NO ITALIAN-LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: unlike UniTrento's Agrifood Innovation Management, MAIN imposes no Italian-language requirement at admission and no Italian-language interview. There is also no CLA/UniTrento make-up English test route advertised for MAIN - candidates must arrive with an accepted B2 proof (or use the discretionary Committee interview if the Committee itself requests one to verify their level). 10) SECOND-YEAR FEE BRACKET EXCEEDS THE STATED CAP: Art. 6.1 states a maximum of EUR 6,500 per academic year for non-Europeans, yet the second-year and further-years tables in the same article (and on the tuition webpage) set EUR 10,000 for students who earn fewer than 6 (respectively 12) credits. The EUR 10,000 figure is a penalty bracket for very low credit accrual and is published consistently in both sources, but it is formally inconsistent with the 'maximum EUR 6.500 per academic year' wording. 11) ADMISSION YEAR AND NEXT CYCLE: 2026/2027 is the most recent published admission year. All 2026/27 applications were closed at the time of research and the UniTrento Apply portal listed 'No active applications for this type' for English-taught degree courses, so no 2027/2028 dates exist yet. The 2026/27 call was signed on 17 December 2025 and opened the same day, so the 2027/28 first call is expected around December 2026. 12) FEE-PAGE VINTAGE: the tuition table read on www.unitn.it is headed 'Fees amount for 2025-2026'; its Group B brackets nevertheless match the 2026/27 call article 6 exactly, so the figures were treated as current.

  • Tuition and fees link note: Non-EU citizens: https://www.unitn.it/en/study/fees-scholarships-accommodation/tuition-fees/non-eu-citizens/masters-degrees-english - MAIN is listed there under GROUP B (the more expensive of the two groups), maximum EUR 6,500 per academic year. First-year amount set by the admission score: tuition waiver for 90/100-100/100; EUR 1,000 for 70-89.9; EUR 3,000 for 60-69.9; EUR 6,500 for 50-59.9. Second-year amount set by credits earned by 10 August 2027: waiver for >=42 CFU; EUR 1,000 for 36-41; EUR 3,000 for 24-35; EUR 6,500 for 6-23; EUR 10,000 for <6 CFU. Years beyond the expected duration, by credits earned by 10 August of the last year of enrolment: exemption for the first year beyond the standard duration if >=84 CFU (EUR 1,000/year thereafter); EUR 1,000 for 72-83; EUR 3,000 for 48-71; EUR 6,500 for 12-47; EUR 10,000 for <12 CFU. SCHOLARSHIPS (non-Europeans): UniTrento grants scholarships to top-scored non-European applicants provided they score at least 70/100; the number of scholarships and their allocation are announced with the ranking list; no separate application is needed; scholarship holders are waived from tuition fees; the scholarship is a partial contribution to mobility expenses paid only after arrival in Trento, may be renewed for the following year subject to merit, and is not compatible with scholarships from other Italian public institutions (MAECI, Unicolor, Invest your Talent in Italy, etc.). In the published 2025/26 non-European ranking, the top 4 candidates (scores 80.60-86.38) received an 'Unconditional offer of place with UniTrento Scholarship'. SCHOLARSHIPS (Europeans and equivalents): income-based, via a separate annual call - https://www.unitn.it/en/study/fees-scholarships-accommodation/scholarships-and-awards/scholarships-housing-and-fee-waivers . ACCOMMODATION: non-European students admitted to a programme are entitled to guaranteed on-campus accommodation for a rent (https://www.operauni.tn.it/en/accomodations/opera-on-campus-accomodation).
