Kabul Tipi
Two entirely separate procedures, depending on candidate category. (1) EUROPEAN AND EQUIVALENT CANDIDATES: open / free access ('ACCESS: Free'; orienta: 'accesso libero, con verifica dei requisiti'). There is no numero programmato, no ranking and no entrance test - admission is granted by verification of the qualification, curricular and English-language requirements through an online application on the UniTrento portal. (2) NON-EUROPEAN CANDIDATES RESIDING OUTSIDE ITALY: restricted access through a public selection call ('Call for Applications for admission to the Master's Degree Programs of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science - Academic Year 2026/2027'), with a limited number of seats (60), a EUR 30 application fee, evaluation of the file by a Selection Committee on a 100-point scale and a merit ranking; a minimum score of 50/100 is required to be eligible. No written entrance test; an interview may be requested if the submitted documentation is insufficient. (3) In addition, the programme can be attended inside the EIT Digital 'ICT Innovation' double-degree track (specialisation 'Cloud Networking and Infrastructures', with Universite de Rennes 1, Sorbonne Universite Paris, Aalto University and KTH Stockholm), which has its own programmed admission ('ad accesso programmato') run by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, separate from the UniTrento procedures above [uncertain - EIT deadlines and requirements are set by EIT Digital and were not verified on UNITN official pages]. Of the 60 non-EU seats, 20 are reserved for candidates selected under the EIT programme.
Resmî Eğitim Dili
Fully English. The official course sheet on corsi.unitn.it states 'LANGUAGE: English' with no Italian alternative, and orienta.unitn.it states '2 anni, in lingua inglese'. This is a stand-alone English-taught Master's degree, not an English 'percorso' inside an Italian-language programme and not a mixed English/Italian course. The DISI admission call for 2026/2027 covers only 'the Master's degree courses taught in English' (Computer Science, Information Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Systems). Note: the research draft labelled this programme 'Telecommunications Engineering / ICT' - that is not the official name; the label comes from the Italian degree class LM-27 'Ingegneria delle telecomunicazioni'. The official English name is simply 'Information Engineering'.

2. Kabul koşulları
Akademik geçmiş
QUALIFICATION: a first-cycle (Bachelor's) degree or university diploma of at least three years' duration, obtained in Italy or abroad and recognised as suitable. CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS (identical wording in the EU page and in Annex 1 of the non-EU call): (a) holders of an Italian degree in class L-8 (Ingegneria dell'informazione) - and, per the non-EU call, also class L-31 - automatically meet the curricular requirements
(b) holders of an Italian degree in another class must have at least 36 ECTS in the scientific-disciplinary sectors CHIM/03, CHIM/07, FIS/01, FIS/02, FIS/03, INF/01, MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/07, MAT/08, MAT/09 AND at least 24 ECTS in ING-INF/01, ING-INF/02, ING-INF/03, ING-INF/04, ING-INF/05, ING-INF/06, ING-INF/07
(c) holders of a degree from a system that does not use ECTS, or of another qualification recognised as suitable, are assessed on the consistency of course contents and learning objectives with those sectors and on adequate knowledge of eight subjects: Mathematical Analysis, Geometry and Linear Algebra, Programming, Computer Architecture, Probability and Statistics, Physics, Networking, Signal Processing. The non-EU page phrases the same requirement as 'a Bachelor's degree of at least 3 years in Electric, Electronic Telecommunications or Information Engineering or any related field, awarded by any internationally recognized university'. NO MINIMUM GPA THRESHOLD is published; for non-EU candidates the marks obtained enter the 100-point evaluation (curriculum studiorum, max 65 points) and the eligibility cut-off is a total score of 50/100. SEATS / QUOTA: EU and equivalent candidates - free access, no seat cap published. Non-EU candidates residing abroad - 60 available positions, of which 20 are reserved for candidates selected under the EIT programme; the official ranking document for 2026/2027 confirms 'Positions available: 60' and 'Scholarships available for a.y. 2026/2027: 4'. Degrees obtained abroad must be valid for access to higher education in Italy per Annexes 1 and 2 of the Ministerial Circular on Universitaly
Dil yeterliliği
English at CEFR level B2 is a mandatory admission requirement (not a post-enrolment requirement). No Italian language requirement is set for this programme. EU AND EQUIVALENT CANDIDATES may prove it by: (i) having passed a university exam in English at B2 level as part of their degree programme; or (ii) a language certificate recognised by UniTrento (list published by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo, cla.unitn.it). Candidates without either can take and pass the CLA English test before enrolment - written part in person in Trento at the CLA, speaking part online. Six sessions are scheduled in 2026: S1 registration 27 March - 20 April (written 27 April 14.30, speaking 8 May)
S2 20 April - 15 May (written 25 May, speaking 5 June)
S3 16 May - 25 June (written 6 July, speaking 17 July)
Sınav / değerlendirme
No entrance examination and no TOLC/SAT for either candidate category. EU and equivalent candidates: admission is by document-based verification of curricular requirements only. Non-European candidates: file-based evaluation by a DISI Selection Committee (at least three faculty members appointed by Rectoral Decree), max 100 points - coherence between previous studies and the objectives of the Master's degree (max 30), curriculum studiorum, i.e. marks and results in previous studies, post-graduate courses, extra-academic activities (max 65), additional language skills, i.e. English above B2 or knowledge of other languages (max 5). The Committee may hold online meetings and 'the applicant may be required to attend an interview' if the uploaded documentation does not allow an adequate assessment. Eligibility threshold 50/100; ties broken in favour of the youngest candidate. The only test that may be required is the English language test at the University Language Centre (CLA), and only for candidates who cannot otherwise document English B2.
3. Hazırlanacak belgeler
NON-EUROPEAN CANDIDATES (Art. 2.6 of the call, mirrored on the programme page): a copy of a valid passport (photo/personal-data pages only); a copy of the Bachelor's degree certificate if already awarded, or a certificate of enrolment stating the expected graduation date (graduates of Italian universities file a self-declaration under DPR 445/2000; UniTrento students/graduates do not upload it); a transcript of academic records listing all courses, exams and marks awarded, including the marks obtained, the weighted average mark and the minimum-to-maximum marking range - undergraduate candidates must also list examinations not yet passed, and full information on the grading scale is required or the application is not considered; a curriculum vitae et studiorum in English, preferably in Europass format; the English language qualification (B2). An official translation into English is required for any document not originally in English or Italian; illegible documents are not considered and incomplete or unsubmitted forms are excluded. Payment of the EUR 30 application fee by the deadline is a condition of eligibility. Later stages: EUR 100 confirmation fee, Universitaly pre-enrolment, study visa. EU AND EQUIVALENT CANDIDATES: the online admission application on the UniTrento portal; applicants who studied at another university must attach a self-declaration of the exams taken indicating, for each exam, the Scientific Disciplinary Sector (SSD), the credits (CFU), the date taken, the final grade and the syllabus (detailed course programme); plus evidence of English B2 (university exam, recognised certificate, or CLA test result). No application fee is stated for the EU/equivalent procedure [uncertain - the page simply does not mention one].
1) PROGRAMME NAME CORRECTION: the research draft listed this programme as 'Telecommunications Engineering / ICT'. That is wrong. The official name is 'Information Engineering'; the ICT/telecommunications label comes only from the ministerial degree class LM-27 'Ingegneria delle telecomunicazioni'. The predecessor programme 'Information and Communications Engineering' (ICE master) was replaced by the new Master's Degree in Information Engineering; UniTrento's educational-offer portal dates the replacement to a.y. 2023/2024 [uncertain - that statement was found on offertaformativa.unitn.it, which is outside the allowed-domain list, and is not repeated verbatim on corsi.unitn.it or orienta.unitn.it]. Note also that the bachelor-level programme 'Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering (ICE)' is a different, separate course (class L-8) - do not confuse the two. 2) SOURCE ACCESS / WAF: corsi.unitn.it and www.unitn.it are behind a WAF that returns HTTP 405 to direct fetching (both browser-agent curl and the fetch tool, for HTML pages and PDFs alike). All corsi.unitn.it content above - including the full text of the official 2026/2027 admission call PDF, the ranking PDF and the two admission pages - was retrieved through a plain-text reader proxy of the same official URLs, and cross-checked against orienta.unitn.it, which is directly reachable. The PDF links themselves were recovered from the raw HTML of the official non-EU admission page. 3) TUITION FIGURE DISCREPANCY: a search-engine snippet of UniTrento pages states 'The maximum tuition fees for non-Europeans are EUR 6.500 per academic year', while Art. 6 of the 2026/2027 DISI master call states EUR 10,000 per academic year as the maximum, with EUR 6,500 being only the band for an admission score of 50-59.99/100. The call figure (EUR 10,000) should be treated as authoritative for this programme; the EUR 6,500 figure most likely refers to a different department's programme or to an earlier academic year. The fee page itself (www.unitn.it/en/node/1023) could not be read in full through the WAF. 4) SECOND-YEAR FEES: non-EU students who paid fees in year 1 are fully exempted in year 2 if they earn at least 42 ECTS by 10 August 2027; otherwise the fee is EUR 1,000 (36-41 ECTS), EUR 3,000 (24-35), EUR 6,500 (6-23) or EUR 10,000 (under 6 ECTS). 5) EU APPLICATION FEE: no application fee is mentioned anywhere on the EU/equivalent admission page; the EUR 30 fee applies only to the non-EU selection call. This is an absence of evidence, not an explicit statement that the EU procedure is free. 6) EIT DIGITAL DOUBLE DEGREE: orienta.unitn.it states the course can be attended within the ICT Innovation double degree, which has programmed admission set by EIT, and 20 of the 60 non-EU seats are reserved for EIT-selected candidates; the EIT application route, its deadlines and its own requirements are managed by EIT Digital and were not verified on a UNITN official page. 7) NO ITALIAN LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT is stated for this programme in any of the consulted official sources - unlike some UniTrento English-track bachelor programmes, no Italian proficiency test appears in the master's procedure. 8) CURRICULAR REQUIREMENT WORDING: Annex 1 of the call writes the automatic-access classes as 'classes L-8; 31', i.e. L-8 and L-31, whereas the EU admission page mentions only L-8 as granting automatic satisfaction of the curricular requirements. Applicants holding an Italian L-31 degree should confirm with stem.admissions.int@unitn.it which reading applies to the EU procedure. 9) Paragraph (c) of the Information Engineering annex is left untranslated in the English courtesy version of the call (it appears in Italian); the content matches the Computer Science annex and the EU page, so the English rendering above is a reconstruction from those parallel passages. 10) The call explicitly warns that the English version 'is intended only as an aid for foreign candidates' and that 'the only legally binding version of the call is the Italian one', produced with AI-assisted translation tools. 11) Contact for admissions: International Mobility Office - Science and Technology Area, tel. +39 0461 282587 / 3236, stem.admissions.int@unitn.it; Student Support Service helpline +39 0461 281567.
