Trento - Povo campus (Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science / Dipartimento di Ingegneria e Scienza dell'Informazione, Povo, TN)
Derece Sınıfı
L-8
Kabul Tipi
Restricted access / numero programmato ('ACCESS: Programmed'). Admission is by ranking based on a CISIA test: TOLC-I (EU and equivalent candidates, all three sessions) or CEnT-S / CISIA English Test - Sciences (mandatory for non-European candidates; optional alternative for EU and equivalent candidates, first session only). Two mandatory steps: admission application on the UniTrento website + completion of the test on the CISIA portal. Three sessions for EU and equivalent candidates; non-European candidates residing abroad may apply only in the first session.
Resmî Eğitim Dili
Fully English. The degree course exists in two parallel tracks with separate seats, separate applications and separate rankings: 'Ingegneria Informatica, delle Comunicazioni ed Elettronica (track in Italian language)' and 'Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering (track in English language)'. The English track is a complete curriculum taught entirely in English (offered since a.y. 2024/2025), not a partial 'percorso' inside an Italian programme; the official course sheet lists 'LANGUAGE: English Italian' because both tracks belong to the same L-8 degree course. Non-EU candidates residing abroad may only apply to the English track.

Pre-enrolment at UniTrento by the deadline stated in the ranking (EUR 80 non-refundable fee), qualification confirmation 6-17 July 2026, pre-enrolment at the Italian Embassy/Consulate for the visa per the Universitaly 'Annual procedures', and the entry visa must be obtained no later than 31 October 2026.
2. Kabul koşulları
Akademik geçmiş
Academic year 2026/2027, DISI admission call. (1) Qualification: possession of a secondary school diploma, already obtained or to be obtained by 31 July 2026, in Italy or abroad, provided the qualification is deemed valid. Foreign qualifications must have been obtained after at least 12 years of schooling, after attending the final two years in the foreign education system, and must give access to a similar university programme in the issuing country; where the issuing country requires an academic suitability test (e.g. YSK in Turkey, Gaokao in China, Selectividad in Spain), proof of passing it must be provided. (2) Test: successful completion of TOLC-I or CEnT-S during calendar years 2025 or 2026 within the session deadlines. (3) Non-EU candidates only: must have reached the age of majority by 30 September 2026. No prior GPA threshold is set; selection is purely by test score ranking. SEATS 2026/27 for the English track (Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering), total 65: 1st session 50 seats = 13 EU & equivalent with TOLC-I + 12 EU & equivalent with CEnT-S + 25 Non-EU with CEnT-S
3rd session 5 seats (EU & equivalent, TOLC-I only). Non-EU quota is therefore 25 seats, all in the first session. Unassigned first-session places roll over to later sessions for EU candidates. Minimum eligibility thresholds: 18/50 for TOLC-I
Dil yeterliliği
No English language certificate is required to be admitted: admission depends only on the test score. English proficiency is a graduation/curricular requirement. For the English curriculum: 'English proficiency at level B2, which you need to acquire or certify at the latest before taking exams belonging to the 2nd and 3rd year.' Native Italian speakers enrolled in the English track must additionally reach English C1 or Technical English before third-year exams; students who are NOT native Italian speakers must pass a basic Italian language proficiency test before taking third-year exams. (For the Italian track the requirement is English B1 before 2nd/3rd-year exams and B2 before 3rd-year exams.) Requirements can be met by passing the English test at the University Language Centre (CLA) before the start of the second year, or by submitting a recognised international language certificate after enrolment (application window 10 September 2025 - 9 September 2026 for Povo departments). The admission call adds: 'Admitted students must pass an English proficiency exam at the level required by the Degree Program Regulations within their first year of study.' Note also the TOLC-I English section (30 questions) is excluded from the ranking score. The course page's first-session deadline list mentions an 'Italian proficiency test for Non-Europeans: 11 March 2026' - this appears to be the ministerial Italian-language test that does not normally apply to English-taught programmes, and it is not mentioned in the admission call for the English track.
Sınav / değerlendirme
CISIA tests, no UniTrento-specific exam and no interview. EU and equivalent candidates: TOLC-I (50 scored questions - Mathematics 20, Logic 10, Sciences 10, Verbal comprehension 10, plus a non-scored 30-question English section), fee EUR 35, taken as TOLC@UNI or TOLC@CASA at any CISIA university, valid from 1 January 2025, at most once per calendar month, best score counts; minimum 18/50. Alternatively, for the English track and the first session only, EU candidates may take the CEnT-S (CISIA English Test - Sciences). Non-European candidates residing abroad: CEnT-S is mandatory. CEnT-S has 55 questions
UniTrento scores 45 of them (Mathematics 15, Reasoning on texts and data 15, Chemistry 10, Physics 5 - the 10 Biology questions are excluded), 90 minutes, fee EUR 55, taken as CEnT@UNI or CEnT@CASA, once per macro-period (Nov-Dec 2025/Jan 2026
Feb-Mar 2026); minimum 16/45. Scoring for both: +1 correct, 0 blank, -0.25 wrong. Note: through a.y. 2025/2026 the English-language admission test for this programme was the English TOLC-I; for a.y. 2026/2027 it has been replaced by the CEnT-S.
3. Hazırlanacak belgeler
Application is made online on the UniTrento admissions portal (webapps.unitn.it/ammissioni) and is free of charge. Required: (1) authentication - SPID, CIE or a UniTrento account for EU/equivalent applicants; non-European applicants abroad must create a temporary UniTrento 'guest' account (recommended at least three working days before the deadline)
(2) selection of the degree course(s) in order of binding preference
(3) CISIA registration and completion of TOLC-I (fee EUR 35) or CEnT-S (fee EUR 55) - scores are retrieved automatically from CISIA, no upload needed. Documents to upload during the online procedure for qualifications obtained abroad (Note 2 of the call): if the final qualification is not yet obtained, a Transcript of Records for the last two years of study; if already obtained, a scanned copy (.pdf/.jpg) of the diploma; documents not in English, French, German or Spanish require a certified translation into Italian or English; if the qualification was obtained after fewer than 12 years of schooling, the compensatory documentation listed in Attachment 1 of the ministerial 'Annual procedures'; if the country of the qualification requires an academic suitability test, a scanned copy proving it was passed. UniTrento may also request a CIMEA Statement of Verification and/or Statement of Comparability. Candidates with disabilities or SLD upload their certification (with Italian or English translation) via the CISIA document upload form. Later stages: pre-enrolment (EUR 80), educational-qualification confirmation 6-17 July 2026, and for non-EU candidates the Universitaly/consulate pre-enrolment for the study visa.
1) SEAT COUNT DISCREPANCY: orienta.unitn.it states '40 (accesso con test di ammissione)' for the English pathway 2026/27, while the DISI admission call lists 65 seats in total for the English track (50 + 10 + 5). The two reconcile if orienta counts only EU/equivalent seats (13 + 12 + 10 + 5 = 40) and excludes the 25 non-EU seats; this reconciliation is an inference, not an explicit statement in an official source. 2) NON-EU RANKING DATE: the admission call says non-EU rankings are published 'by April 6, 2026' while the course admission page says 'by 14 April 2026'; in practice a non-EU ranking published on 16 April 2026 was withdrawn for administrative review and republished. 3) ITALIAN TEST FOR NON-EU: the course page lists 'Italian proficiency test for Non-Europeans: 11 March 2026' among first-session deadlines, but the admission call (which only allows non-EU candidates into the English track) never mentions an Italian-language test; this item most likely belongs to the general UniTrento non-EU procedure for Italian-taught courses and may not apply to ICE English track applicants - to be confirmed with stem.admissions.int@unitn.it. 4) TEST CHANGE: the research brief referenced 'English TOLC-I' as the entry test; this was correct up to a.y. 2025/2026, but for 2026/2027 UniTrento replaced English TOLC-I with the CEnT-S for the DISI English-taught bachelors. EU candidates can still use the (Italian-language) TOLC-I for the English track in all three sessions. 5) SOURCE ACCESS: corsi.unitn.it, www.unitn.it, offertaformativa.unitn.it and infostudenti.unitn.it are behind a WAF/bot-verification layer that returned 403/405/503/'Human Verification' to direct fetching; the official pages and the official call PDF were retrieved through a plain-text reader proxy of the same official URLs, and cross-checked against orienta.unitn.it and disi.unitn.it (both directly reachable) plus search-engine snippets. All figures above come from the official 2026/27 call text. 6) No dual-degree / inter-university (interateneo) partnership is declared for this programme in the sources consulted. 7) Non-EU tuition bands are stated in the call as based on the 'TOLC admission test score normalized on a scale of 100', although non-EU candidates actually sit the CEnT-S; the call elsewhere specifies that a selection committee converts CEnT-S scores to /100 with 16/45 equated to 50/100.
