Kabul Tipi
Restricted access - 'numero programmato' / limited number. Admission is by a public selection call ('Public selection for admission to the Two-Year Master's Degree in Behavioural and Applied Economics (BEA)') based on qualifications and, if the Selection Committee deems it necessary, an interview. The corsi.unitn.it programme page states 'ACCESS: Programmed' and the orientation catalogue states 'Ammissione: numero programmato'. There is NO TOLC test, no SAT and no compulsory written entrance exam: candidates submit an online application with documents, which the Selection Committee scores out of 100. Total entry is restricted to 30 places, of which 15 are reserved to non-European citizens; any remaining non-EU places are released to European and equivalent candidates. Two application calls per year: the first call is open to all candidates (Europeans/equivalents and non-Europeans), the second call is open ONLY to Europeans and equivalents. Application is submitted on the UniTrento Apply portal (webapps.unitn.it/Apply) with a EUR 30 application fee.
Resmî Eğitim Dili
Case (1): fully English-taught. It is a standalone degree course whose official language of instruction is English - the corsi.unitn.it programme page records 'LANGUAGE: English' and the 2026/27 admission call opens with 'the Master's Degree in Behavioural and Applied Economics (BEA) taught in English'. The Italian orientation catalogue states 'Durata e lingua del corso: 2 anni, in lingua inglese'. There is no Italian-language track or parallel Italian percorso, and no Italian language requirement for admission. Note that some institutional/quality documents (the Official Programme Sheet on corsi.unitn.it) are published only in Italian, but this concerns administrative documentation, not teaching.

2. Kabul koşulları
Akademik geçmiş
1) DEGREE: a Bachelor's Degree of at least 3 years (or a higher/other qualification awarded in Italy or abroad and recognised as equivalent). Undergraduate (final-year) candidates may apply provided the Bachelor's degree is obtained by 30 June 2026 for non-Europeans, or by 31 October 2026 for Europeans and equivalents and for non-European candidates graduating from an Italian university with a valid Italian study permit. UniTrento may request additional documentation (statement of verification and/or statement of comparability) through CIMEA's DiploMe service. 2) CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS - a minimum of 48 university credits (CFU) certifying knowledge of economics, business administration and quantitative methods, distributed as: at least 16 credits in Economics sectors SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/04, SECS-P/05, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/12; at least 6 credits in Business/Administration sectors SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10, SECS-P/11; at least 8 credits in Statistics, Mathematics and Quantitative Methods sectors MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/09, SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03, SECS-S/04, SECS-S/06. For international qualifications the Selection Committee evaluates whether the applicant's study plan meets these binding requirements. 3) NO MINIMUM GPA is stated in the call; the transcript must include exams, marks and, if available, the Grade Point Average, and the curriculum studiorum is scored up to 40/100. 4) SEATS: entry is restricted to 30 places in total, of which 15 places are reserved to non-European citizens; any remaining (unused) places go to Europeans and equivalents. The dedicated corsi.unitn.it admission pages state 'Seats available: 15 (limited number)' on BOTH the Europeans-and-equivalents page and the non-Europeans page - see uncertainty_notes on how the 15+15 split works. 5) THRESHOLDS: eligibility at 50/100 overall, with a hard minimum of 25 points in the statement-of-purpose/reference-letters/overall-evaluation section. 6) DUAL CITIZENSHIP: if a candidate holds two citizenships, one of which from an EU country, the EU (or Italian) citizenship prevails and the candidate is treated as 'European and equivalent'. 7) TRANSFER: students already enrolled on another Master's degree may transfer only after passing this selection and receiving a positive evaluation from the Admission Committee; admission directly to the second year requires available places and at least 40 transferable credits.

Sınav / değerlendirme
No entrance examination. There is no TOLC, no CISIA test, no SAT and no compulsory GMAT/GRE. Selection is document-based ('based on qualifications and (if appropriate) interview'): the Selection Committee (at least three members) allocates up to 100 points as follows - Curriculum studiorum up to 40 points; international certifications (English language proficiency and GMAT/GRE, if obtained - not compulsory) up to 10 points; Statement of purpose, reference letters and overall evaluation of the Committee up to 50 points. Candidates scoring 50/100 or more are eligible; candidates scoring lower than 25 in section (c) (statement of purpose / reference letters / overall evaluation) are NOT admitted even if the total exceeds 50. An INTERVIEW may be requested by the Selection Committee in two situations: (i) if the documents attached to the application do not provide enough information, and (ii) specifically to verify the applicant's English level. GMAT or GRE is an OPTIONAL attachment that adds points; if submitted, the minimum GMAT score accepted is 500. A GMAT score of 580 (GMAT Classic Edition) or 545 (GMAT Focus Edition) can additionally serve as proof of English at B2 level.
3. Hazırlanacak belgeler
Uploaded in the online application on the UniTrento Apply portal (webapps.unitn.it/Apply, item 'master/BEA2026'). An official translation is required for any document not produced in English or Italian; illegible documents are not considered and incomplete or unsubmitted forms are excluded. (1) Identity document - a copy of a valid passport for non-Europeans, or an identity card for Europeans and equivalents who do not log in with a digital identity. (2) Copy of the Bachelor's degree diploma/certificate, if already awarded (candidates with a degree issued by an Italian university, or enrolled at an Italian university, may upload a self-declaration). (3) Transcript of records including the list of examinations, marks/results, credits and the Grade Point Average if available, in Italian or English. (4) Curriculum vitae in English, in PDF format, brief but complete - no specific layout required. (5) Statement of purpose - the applicant answers a few questions in English: 'Why do you want to study Behavioural and Applied Economics?', 'What do you want to achieve professionally by studying within the Master of Behavioural and Applied Economics?', 'How do you think you could contribute to the class?'. (6) At least TWO reference letters in English or Italian on letterhead, plus the contact details of at least two referees entered in the application form; reference letters must be uploaded by the applicant within the deadline - letters sent by any other means are not considered. (7) Proof of English proficiency at B2 level as listed in the language requirements. (8) OPTIONAL: GMAT or GRE score report (minimum GMAT score accepted 500), and documentation of other relevant experience or specialisation. (9) Payment of the EUR 30 non-refundable application fee within the application deadline (failure to pay leads to automatic exclusion). ACCOUNT: applicants log in with SPID digital identity, Italian electronic identity card (CIE), an @unitn.it username, or a provisional @guest.unitn.it account created on the UniTrento Registration website - the guest account should be created at least 48 hours before the deadline. LATER STEPS: EUR 100 enrolment confirmation fee; for non-Europeans, pre-enrolment on Universitaly at the Italian diplomatic representation within 2 weeks of confirmation and a study visa by 30 September 2026.
1) SOURCE ACCESS (WAF/Cloudflare): at the time of research (31 August 2026) corsi.unitn.it returned HTTP 405 to direct requests, www.unitn.it returned HTTP 403, and infostudenti.unitn.it returned HTTP 503. All corsi.unitn.it content above (programme page, both admission pages, and the full 12-page English admission call PDF) was therefore read from Internet Archive captures of the official pages: programme page captured 24 January 2026, Europeans-and-equivalents admission page captured 10 March 2026, non-Europeans admission page captured 16 February 2026, English call PDF captured 10 March 2026. orienta.unitn.it and webapps.unitn.it/Apply were reachable directly and were used to confirm the degree class, access type, campus and the live application item 'master/BEA2026'. Figures should be re-verified against the live pages once UniTrento's sites are reachable. 2) SEAT SPLIT: the call PDF (Art. 1) says entry is restricted to 30 places INCLUDING 15 reserved to non-European citizens, with 'any remaining places' going to Europeans and equivalents - i.e. Europeans start from a nominal 15 but can receive unfilled non-EU seats. Both dedicated web pages state a flat 'Seats available: 15 (limited number)' for their own category, which is the nominal figure and does not show the roll-over mechanism. The 15 EU figure is therefore a floor, not a cap. 3) NO ENTRANCE TEST: unlike UniTrento's bachelor programmes in the Economics area (TOLC-E / CEnT-S), this master's degree has no CISIA test. GMAT/GRE is explicitly optional and only adds evaluation points; a GMAT of 580+ (Classic) / 545+ (Focus) can alternatively serve as English proof. Note the two different GMAT thresholds that appear in the same documents: 500 = minimum GMAT accepted as an optional scoring attachment; 580/545 = GMAT level accepted as evidence of English B2. 4) INTERVIEW: an interview is possible but not routine - it is at the Selection Committee's discretion, either when documents are insufficient or to verify English proficiency. 5) ADMISSION YEAR: the most recent officially published cycle is a.y. 2026/2027 (call dated 17 December 2025). Both 2026/27 calls (first call closed 4 March 2026, second call closed 29 May 2026) had already expired at the date of research (31 August 2026); the a.y. 2027/2028 call had not yet been published and is expected around December 2027 following the same pattern. 6) SPELLING INCONSISTENCY: UniTrento uses both 'Behavioural' (corsi.unitn.it, admission call, degree title) and 'Behavioral' (orienta.unitn.it catalogue entry, international.unitn.it/bea microsite) for the same programme; the official degree title is 'Behavioural and Applied Economics'. 7) TUITION PAGE URLS: the call PDF links tuition information through UniTrento node redirects (www.unitn.it/en/node/1023 for non-Europeans, node/987 for Europeans) which could not be resolved directly because of the 403 block; the canonical paths given in tuition_or_fees_link were confirmed from search-engine indexes of www.unitn.it with exactly matching page titles ('Tuition fees for Master's degrees in English', 'Tuition fees for individuals with citizenship of EU and related countries'). 8) NO ITALIAN REQUIREMENT: unlike the Italian-taught programmes of the same department, no Italian language certification is requested at any stage of this selection. 9) MINIMUM GPA: the call sets no numeric GPA threshold; academic merit is scored qualitatively by the Selection Committee within the 40-point 'Curriculum studiorum' block, so no hard grade cut-off can be quoted. 10) DOUBLE-DEGREE / SPECIAL AGREEMENTS: Art. 3.3 of the call notes that 'Applicants who are going to take part in the selection within special Agreements, may apply to the Master according to different deadlines and procedures settled in the Agreements' - the agreements themselves are not listed in the call, so candidates coming through a partner-university agreement should confirm their own deadlines with bea@unitn.it.

EU and equivalent students: https://www.unitn.it/en/study/fees-scholarships-accommodation/tuition-fees/eu-and-related-countries (income-based, ISEE). FIGURES FROM THE 2026/27 CALL - Non-Europeans: maximum tuition EUR 4,500 per academic year; first-year amount reduced by application score (90-100/100 = full tuition waiver; 70-89.9 = EUR 1,000; 60-69.9 = EUR 2,000; 50-59.9 = EUR 4,500). Second year is based on credits earned by 10 August 2027 (>= 42 CFU = full waiver; 36-41 = EUR 1,000; 24-35 = EUR 2,000; 6-23 = EUR 4,500; < 6 CFU = EUR 6,000). Scholarships: UniTrento grants scholarships to the top-scoring non-European applicants who reach at least 70/100 - no separate application is needed, the number and allocation are announced with the ranking, scholarship holders are waived from tuition fees, and the scholarship (a partial contribution to mobility expenses) is paid only after arrival in Trento and is not compatible with other scholarships from Italian public institutions (MAECI, Unicolor, Invest your Talent in Italy, etc.). Europeans and equivalents pay ISEE-based fees and apply separately each year to the dedicated scholarship call (https://www.unitn.it/en/study/fees-scholarships-accommodation - scholarships section). Separate mandatory costs: EUR 30 application fee (non-refundable) and EUR 100 enrolment confirmation fee (non-refundable).
