Kabul Tipi

Restricted access - 'accesso programmato' (locally capped admission, numero programmato locale) via a public selection call ('Public selection for admission to the Master's Degree in Global Law Making (GLaM) - Academic year 2026/2027') issued by the Faculty of Law. Entry is restricted to 45 places in total, of which 15 places are reserved for Non-European candidates residing outside Italy and 30 places are available to Europeans and equivalents. Selection is NOT by TOLC, NOT by SAT and NOT by a written entrance exam: it is a merit- and curriculum-based evaluation of the submitted application dossier, scored out of 100 by an Admission Committee, with an optional interview. Two separate calls with two separate rankings run in sequence: first call for Non-Europeans (deadline 4 March 2026), second call for Europeans and equivalents (deadline 30 June 2026). Places left over after the first call are added to the second call. A non-refundable application fee of EUR 30.00 must be paid by the deadline of the call applied for, otherwise the candidate is excluded from evaluation.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

Category (1) - fully English-taught. The official UniTrento programme page states 'LANGUAGE: English' in its 'IN SHORT' summary box, and the whole 120-CFU curriculum (Major Issues in Global Law, Law and Digital Technology, Global Environment and Climate Change Law, Global Law Drafting, Comparative Law and Methodology, Economic and Financial Regulation, Advanced Legal Studies, Contemporary Political Theory, Law & Ethics in an Age of Transitions, Master Thesis, electives) is delivered in English. It is NOT an English 'percorso' inside an Italian-language degree, and it is not a mixed English/Italian programme. Note one Italian-language element that does NOT change the classification: the second-year study plan contains 'Italian Language level A2' (course code 160028, 0 CFU), which is compulsory for non-Italian-speaking students - it is a zero-credit language-attainment obligation during the degree, not an admission requirement and not a teaching language. Lessons take place only in person in Trento (no distance/online delivery).

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • Places: 45 in total for 2026/2027, of which 15 reserved for Non-Europeans residing outside Italy and 30 for Europeans and equivalents; any places remaining after the first (non-European) call are added to the second (European) call. Qualification requirement, either (i) or (ii): (i) a Bachelor's degree (laurea) awarded in Italy in class L-14 'Scienze giuridiche' (legal services/legal sciences), OR a bachelor's degree in a different class provided the candidate has obtained at least 27 university credits (CFU/ECTS) in the following legal scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD): IUS/01, IUS/02, IUS/04, IUS/05, IUS/07, IUS/08, IUS/09, IUS/10, IUS/13, IUS/14, IUS/17, IUS/18, IUS/19, IUS/20, IUS/21. Candidates who do not yet hold the required CFUs in those SSDs are still admitted to the selection process provided the credits are obtained no later than the date of enrolment. OR (ii) a Bachelor's or higher qualification awarded abroad and recognised as equivalent - for foreign qualifications the suitability of the qualification and the fulfilment of the curricular requirements are assessed by the Admission Committee through examination of the specific contents of the study curriculum actually completed. This is the route through which non-Italian degrees in sociology, international studies, economics or other related fields can qualify, provided the legal-content requirement is met. Undergraduate (not-yet-graduated) candidates may apply, provided they obtain the bachelor's degree by: 30 June 2026 for non-Europeans
  • 31 October 2026 for Europeans and equivalents
  • 31 October 2026 for non-Europeans who graduate from Italian universities and hold a valid Italian study residence permit. Candidates must declare their expected graduation date in the online application. Background: the programme also expects 'a personal background with suitable professional vocational and academic experience appropriate to the interdisciplinary nature of the programme'. No published minimum GPA/degree-grade threshold - degree grade and weighted exam average are scored within the 0-50 'Academic background' band rather than acting as a hard cut-off; the overall eligibility threshold is a total application score of 50/100. The University of Trento reserves the right to require holders of an international qualification, for enrolment purposes, to submit a CIMEA Statement of Verification or Statement of Comparability. Enrolment is conditional upon a positive evaluation of the eligibility of the university degree.
Dil yeterliliği
  • ENGLISH (admission): certified proficiency at minimum CEFR B2 level is required and is verified during the selection. It may be evidenced in any of four ways: (1) holding a certificate among those listed by the University Language Centre (CLA) in the section 'For admission to study programs, international mobility, and access to CLA courses'; candidates who do not yet hold the international certificate may still take part in the selection provided they attach provisional documentation showing they passed the final exam and that the international certificate will be issued
  • (2) having passed an English proficiency test at B2 level or higher required by their own university study programme, provided it is certifiable and all four language skills were assessed
  • (3) holding a bachelor's or master's university degree entirely taught in English (certification to be attached to the online application) - such candidates do NOT need to submit a separate English language certificate
Sınav / değerlendirme
  • No written admission test and no standardised test (no TOLC, no GRE/GMAT, no SAT). Admission is decided by an Admission Committee of three Faculty of Law teaching staff members, which first verifies the curricular entry requirements and then scores the application dossier out of a maximum of 100 points using three criteria: (1) Academic background - max 50 points (degree grade, exam grade point average, other academic and training activities, publications, professional, internship and volunteering experience, English language skills)
  • (2) Statement of purpose - max 30 points (clarity, strength of motivation, relevance to the course applied for, ability shown in English, originality)
  • (3) Relevance of previous studies and experience to the course objectives - max 20 points (relevance of the candidate's bachelor's and/or post-graduate studies and of extracurricular activities such as work placements, summer schools and jobs to the nature and objectives of GLaM). Candidates scoring 50/100 or above are considered eligible. Ties are broken in favour of the younger candidate. An INTERVIEW (in person or remote) is not routine but may be requested in two situations: (a) if the attached documentation does not allow the Committee to evaluate the candidacy adequately, the Committee may ask for supplementary documents (e.g. exam syllabi) and/or an interview

    • Per Art. 3 of the 2026/2027 admission call, the online application (at the UniTrento Application webpage, accessed via SPID digital identity, Italian electronic identity card CIE, or a UniTrento account - including a temporary @guest.unitn.it username, recommended to be created at least 48 hours before the deadline) must have the following attachments: (a) IDENTITY DOCUMENT - copy of passport (non-EU candidates only) or copy of identity card (only for candidates not accessing via digital identity)
    • (b) DEGREE CERTIFICATE - copy of the degree certificate if already obtained, or a certificate of enrolment at the university if not yet graduated; if the document is not in Italian or English, an official translation into one of these languages must be attached (candidates with an Italian degree or currently enrolled at an Italian university may instead attach a self-certification under Arts. 46-47 of Presidential Decree 445/2000)
    • (c) TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS - certificate listing the exams taken, including the complete list of exams (graduating candidates must also list exams not yet taken), the scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD) if the degree is from an Italian university, the grades obtained, the weighted average of exams, and the minimum/maximum grade range of the grading system if the degree was obtained abroad; official translation into Italian or English required if in another language (Italian-degree candidates may self-certify)

  • ACCESS LIMITATION: corsi.unitn.it and www.unitn.it are behind an AWS WAF and returned HTTP 405 to every direct fetch (both WebFetch and curl with a browser user-agent). All corsi.unitn.it content used here was therefore read through Internet Archive snapshots using the raw 'id_' replay form, which returned the ORIGINAL bytes - including the complete 13-page 2026/2027 admission call PDF (snapshot 10 Mart 2026, 296 KB, verified as a genuine PDF and text-extracted in full). This means the core facts are taken verbatim from the authoritative call document, not from search-engine previews. Two UniTrento properties were reachable directly and were used as independent confirmation: www.giurisprudenza.unitn.it (Faculty of Law address and contacts, HTTP 200) and webapps.unitn.it (the Evaluation Unit accreditation PDF confirming the degree class, and the /Apply application portal, both HTTP 200). Snapshot dates: programme home 17 Mayıs 2026, admission pages 16 Şubat 2026, language proficiency 17 Ocak 2026, overview 15 Nisan 2026, call PDF 10 Mart 2026 - all within the 2026/27 admission cycle, so the risk of drift from the live pages is low but not zero; applicants should re-check the live pages before applying. | FIELD-LEVEL UNCERTAINTY: degree_class - LM/SC-GIUR ('Scienze giuridiche') is confirmed by the official UniTrento accreditation document, but that document renders the code as 'LM/SC-GIUR R'; the meaning of the trailing 'R' (a ministerial course-code variant) could not be expanded from an accessible official source and is not a different degree class. | POINTS TO NOTE, NOT AMBIGUITIES: (1) The Turkish briefing note gave '15 April - 30 June 12:00 CET' as the 2026/27 application window - that is correct ONLY for Europeans and equivalents (second call). Non-Europeans residing outside Italy have a single, earlier window: 17 December 2025 to 4 March 2026 at 12:00 CET. There is no later non-EU session. (2) The briefing note said 'B2 (no certificate required from those educated in English)' - accurate: a bachelor's or master's degree entirely taught in English exempts the applicant from submitting a certificate, as does self-certified citizenship of a country where English is an official language / English as mother tongue; but the Committee may still call an interview to test the level. (3) The 27-ECTS legal-credit requirement can be satisfied AFTER applying: candidates lacking the credits are admitted to the selection provided the credits are obtained by the date of enrolment. (4) Seat split: the call states 45 total including 15 reserved for non-Europeans; the EU-facing page states 30 seats and the non-EU page 15 - these are consistent (30 + 15 = 45), and unused non-EU places roll over into the European call. (5) Teaching language is unambiguously and fully English; the second-year 'Italian Language level A2' item is a 0-CFU obligation for non-Italian speakers during the degree, not an admission requirement and not a sign of a mixed-language programme. (6) The Transnational GLaM double degree with Washington University in St. Louis is a SEPARATE application with its own call and admission procedure taken after enrolment in GLaM; its requirements are not covered by this admission call. (7) Exact enrolment/matriculation timetables are not fixed in the call - it states only that they will be communicated after ranking publication, with a hard outer limit of 31 October 2026. (8) EU/equivalent tuition amounts are ISEE-based and are published on the university fees pages rather than in the GLaM call, so no EU figures are asserted here; only the non-EU figures stated verbatim in the call are reported.
