Kabul Tipi

Two separate procedures depending on the applicant's category. (1) Italian citizens, European citizens and equivalents (including non-European citizens permanently resident in Italy with a qualifying stay permit): FREE / OPEN ACCESS ('ACCESS: Free'; 'The programme is free access to students with Italian or European citizenship and equivalents'). There is no numero programmato, no TOLC and no ranking. Admission is granted after verification of curricular requirements and of the adequacy of personal preparation, through an online 'Request for admission' submitted on the UniTrento Apply portal within a rolling application window. (2) Non-European citizens NOT resident in Italy: RESTRICTED ACCESS through a public selection call ('Call for Applications for admission to the Master's Degree Programs of the Department of Industrial Engineering - Academic Year 2026/2027'), a merit-based selection on qualifications with a fixed quota of 25 reserved seats, a single early deadline, a 100-point scoring grid and a published merit ranking. The 25 seats include the places assigned to candidates selected within the EIT Manufacturing programme. Programme length: 2 years, 120 ECTS, with two second-year curricula ('Management and digitalisation' and 'Design and sustainability').

Resmî Eğitim Dili

Fully English. The University's academic-offer record states 'Language: English' and the programme page lists 'LANGUAGE: English'; there is no parallel Italian percorso and no mixed English/Italian delivery. The Programme Regulations require documented English at CEFR B2 for every candidate, and the final thesis must be written in English. The Italian-language versions of the UniTrento web pages (corsi.unitn.it/it/..., dii.unitn.it) are a website-localisation artefact, not evidence of Italian-language teaching. The programme title itself is kept in English even in Italian official documents (Regolamento didattico del corso di laurea magistrale in Management and Industrial Systems Engineering).

Academic year 2026/2027: rolling application window on the UniTrento Apply portal ('Admission request for the Master's degree courses of the Department of Industrial Engineering'), opening around June 2026. Search-engine-indexed content of the live programme page states that 'the application request for 2026/2027 is open until November 12, 2026', with enrolment for a.y. 2026/2027 to be completed by around 21 December 2026; these two 2026/2027 dates could NOT be confirmed first-hand because corsi.unitn.it is behind an AWS WAF human-verification challenge and no Internet Archive snapshot of the 2026/2027 version of the page exists. The archived version of this exact page (snapshot 16 March 2026) still showed the PREVIOUS cycle: 'Deadlines a.y. 2025/2026 - Application for admission: 26 May to 20 November 2025. Outcome of evaluation: within one month of application submission. Deadline for enrollment and meeting all the requirements: 19 December 2025', with the enrolment request open 'from July to December 19 2025'. The 2026/2027 figures follow that pattern exactly (application deadline mid-November, enrolment deadline around 19-21 December), which supports them but does not verify them. Separately confirmed from the official 2026/2027 call: EU citizens and equivalents (and non-Europeans graduating in Italy with a valid study permit) must have obtained the Bachelor's degree by 31 October 2026.

AB / AEA dışı adaylar

Academic year 2026/2027: 4 March 2026 at 12:00 CET - a single early deadline, stated identically on the programme's non-EU admission page and in Art. 3 of the official call. The EUR 30.00 application fee and the proof of English at B2 must both be in place by that same deadline. All deadlines are strict: 'Missing any deadline will result in losing your place.' Subsequent steps: the selection process starts only after the call closes; the merit ranking with admitted candidates and scholarship assignments is published on the programme's non-EU admission page (the archived page gives no fixed publication date for this programme; the sibling 2026/2027 DII ranking PDFs were filed under /sites/cds/files/2026-04/, i.e. April 2026); the EUR 100.00 confirmation fee is due within the deadline given in or with the ranking list; pre-enrolment on Universitaly within 2 weeks of confirmation; the Bachelor's degree must be awarded by 30 June 2026 for non-Europeans graduating outside Italy; the Italian study visa must be obtained no later than 31 October 2026, otherwise admission is forfeited; students must be in Trento for the start of classes, on a date notified by the University during the summer. Note that as of the date of this research (31 August 2026) the 2026/2027 non-EU cycle is already closed; the equivalent 2027/2028 call is expected to be published around December 2026, since the non-EU call 'is usually open from December to March'.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • DEGREE REQUIREMENT: a Bachelor's degree, university diploma or equivalent foreign qualification of at least three years' duration.
  • CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS (Programme Regulations, Art. 2, issued with Rectoral Decree no. 786 of 28 July 2025, applicable to cohorts from a.y. 2025/2026):
  • (a) holders of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, class L-9 (ex DM 270/04 or DM 1648/23), awarded by the University of Trento automatically satisfy the curricular requirements;
Dil yeterliliği
  • English at CEFR level B2 (all four skills) is mandatory for every applicant, EU and non-EU alike. There is NO Italian language requirement for admission, since the whole degree is taught in English; Italian is relevant only for daily life and optional CLA courses.
  • Accepted proofs for the NON-EU selection call (must be held by the application deadline of 4 March 2026): (a) an international language certificate
  • (b) having passed a B2-or-higher English exam at another university, provided the four skills and the level are tested and certified
Sınav / değerlendirme
  • No TOLC, no SAT and no written entrance examination.
  • EU citizens and equivalents: admission is by administrative verification of the curricular requirements and of the adequacy of personal preparation on the basis of the submitted academic record (weighted average of at least 23/30). For candidates holding a foreign qualification recognised as eligible, the verification of the adequacy of personal preparation 'may also include a test before a committee appointed by the Departmental Council'.
  • Non-EU citizens resident abroad: a merit-based evaluation of qualifications by a Selection Committee (at least three members of the teaching staff, nominated by Rectoral Decree; the Committee may meet online), scored out of 100 points (30 coherence of previous studies + 60 curriculum studiorum + 10 additional language skills), with a 50/100 eligibility threshold and a published merit ranking. An interview is NOT systematic: 'In the event that the documentation attached to the online application does not allow the Committee to adequately assess the candidacy, the applicant may be required to attend an interview.'

Hazırlanacak belgeler

    • NON-EU PUBLIC SELECTION (uploaded through the UniTrento Apply portal, webapps.unitn.it/Apply, form 'MiSEnonEU_2026'): (1) a copy of a valid passport, pages with photo and personal data only
    • (2) curriculum vitae et studiorum in English, preferably in the Europass/'European' model
    • (3) a copy of the Bachelor's degree certificate if already awarded, or a certificate of enrolment including the expected graduation date - graduates of Italian universities submit a self-declaration under DPR 445/2000 instead, and UniTrento students/graduates do not upload this document at all

  • 1) ACCESS LIMITATION AND HOW IT WAS HANDLED: corsi.unitn.it, www.unitn.it, international.unitn.it, offertaformativa.unitn.it and infostudenti.unitn.it are behind an AWS WAF bot-protection layer. Direct fetches returned HTTP 405 with a 'Human Verification' interstitial (corsi.unitn.it) or a 302 redirect to the Italian homepage (international.unitn.it). The challenge was deliberately NOT bypassed. Unlike the earlier Materials Engineering research, the Internet Archive WAS reachable in this session, so almost every fact above was read first-hand from archived captures of the official pages (admission-non-europeans: capture 10 Mart 2026; admission-europeans-and-equivalents: 16 Mart 2026; programme home: 16 Şubat 2026; program/overview and program-guide-and-documents: 2026 captures) and, crucially, from the full text of the two official PDFs (the 2026/2027 DII non-EU call and the 2025 Programme Regulations), both retrieved intact through the archive. The direct PDF URL that the Materials Engineering research could not resolve is confirmed here: https://corsi.unitn.it/sites/cds/files/2025-12/admission-call-master-dii-26-27.pdf . 2) EU DEADLINE FOR 2026/2027 IS THE ONE GENUINELY UNVERIFIED FIELD: the only archived capture of the EU admission page (16 March 2026) still displayed the a.y. 2025/2026 window (26 May - 20 November 2025; enrolment by 19 December 2025; Apply form 'ammdii25'). The 2026/2027 figures - application request open until 12 November 2026 and enrolment by around 21 December 2026 - come only from search-engine-indexed snippets of the live page and could not be read directly. They are consistent with the previous cycle's pattern, and they also RESOLVE the apparent conflict flagged in the sibling Materials Engineering research file: 12 November 2026 is the application-request deadline, roughly 21 December 2026 is the enrolment deadline, and 31 October 2026 is a separate milestone (the graduation deadline for Europeans/equivalents, and the last date to obtain a visa). Anyone using this record should re-check the live page for the exact 2026/2027 EU dates and the corresponding Apply form (expected id 'ammdii26'). 3) CYCLE TIMING: as of 31 August 2026 the 2026/2027 non-EU cycle is closed (deadline was 4 March 2026) and the EU rolling window for 2026/2027 is still open. The next non-EU call (2027/2028) is expected around December 2026, since the procedure 'is usually open from December to March'. 4) RANKING PUBLICATION DATE NOT CONFIRMED FOR THIS PROGRAMME: the archived non-EU page says only 'The Ranking list with admitted candidates and scholarship assignation will be published on this page', with no date, and the call gives no fixed date either. The 'by May 20, 2026' figure recorded in the sibling Materials Engineering research file (attributed to this programme's page) does NOT appear in the 10 Mart 2026 capture and could not be reproduced. Sibling 2026/2027 DII/other-department ranking PDFs exist under /sites/cds/files/2026-04/ (e.g. rankings-non-europeans-international-management-26-27.pdf), which points to an April 2026 publication, but the specific MISE ranking PDF filename could not be resolved - several plausible filenames returned 404 from the archive. 5) DRAFTING ERRORS INSIDE THE OFFICIAL CALL (present in the English courtesy translation and worth flagging to applicants): Art. 2 lists as an alternative qualification 'other qualification recognized as equivalent awarded abroad in the fieled of Information Engineering and Computer Science', and Art. 4 states that the Selection Committee is 'chosen from among the teaching staff of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI)'. Both references to DISI/Information Engineering are evidently copy-paste artefacts in a Department of INDUSTRIAL Engineering (DII) call - the substantive eligibility rule is the one in the Programme Regulations (Industrial Engineering L-9 or an equivalent qualification assessed against Tables A/B). The call itself states that only the ITALIAN version is legally binding and that the English text is 'a courtesy translation produced with the support of AI-assisted tools'; the Italian binding version was not parsed in this research. 6) LANGUAGE: no mixed English/Italian issue. The programme is fully English-taught. Some programme documents (final-exam regulations, exam regulations, the binding call, the Programme Regulations) are published only in Italian - an administrative-documentation matter, not a teaching-language one. 7) PARTNERSHIPS / DOUBLE DEGREE: the programme participates in the EIT Manufacturing Master School - since a.y. 2023/2024 the DII offers 'Zero-Defect Manufacture for a Circular Economy' as an entry and exit point within this Master's degree (120 ECTS, 60 per year, with Innovation and Entrepreneurship courses). Places for EIT Manufacturing candidates are counted INSIDE the 25 non-EU seats. Search results also mention a double degree with top European universities including the Technical University of Munich; the double-degree agreements and any separate application route for them were NOT verified against a primary source and may carry their own deadlines and requirements. 8) NON-EU DEGREE RECOGNITION: applicants should note that UniTrento does not assess the eligibility of a foreign degree before admission and pre-enrolment are complete ('UniTrento does not assess the eligibility of the degree in any way prior to the completion of this procedure'), and enrolment remains conditional on that later positive evaluation - a real risk factor for candidates from systems where comparability statements are hard to obtain. 9) STUDY PLAN: the two second-year curricula are 'Management and digitalisation' and 'Design and sustainability'; the archived overview page shows one heading still in Italian ('Scegliere due insegnamenti tra i seguenti') alongside its English equivalent, which is a localisation glitch on the page, not a language requirement.

Figures stated in Art. 7 of the official 2026/2027 call: the maximum annual tuition fee for non-EU citizens living abroad is EUR 6,000 per academic year, reduced according to the admission score - full waiver for 90-100/100, EUR 1,000 for 70-89.99/100, EUR 2,000 for 60-69.99/100, EUR 4,500 for 50-59.99/100. In the second year, students who paid fees in the first year are fully exempted if they acquire at least 42 ECTS by 10 August 2027 (EUR 1,000 for 36-41 ECTS, EUR 2,000 for 24-35 ECTS, EUR 4,500 for 6-23 ECTS, EUR 6,000 for fewer than 6 ECTS). Scholarship holders are exempt from tuition fees; the scholarship is a partial contribution to mobility expenses paid only after arrival in Italy, is renewable subject to merit requirements, and is not compatible with MAECI, Universita a colori-Unicolor or Invest your Talent in Italy scholarships.
