A.Y. 2026/2027. Europeans and equivalents: bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification of at least 3 years (foreign degrees accepted if recognised as suitable). Curricular requirements: Italian degree in class L-8 or L-31 = automatically met; other Italian classes need at least 30 ECTS in MAT/FIS/SECS-S plus at least 45 ECTS in ING-INF and INF/01; degrees from abroad or from systems without ECTS are checked by content: Mathematical Analysis, Geometry and Linear Algebra, Programming, Computer Architecture, Probability and Statistics, Physics, Networking, Signal Processing. Can apply before graduating; requirements must be met before enrolment. Missing requirements can be made up with single courses before the deadline. Non-Europeans abroad: 3-year bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field with a study plan proving the same basic knowledge; degree by 30 June 2026 (31 October 2026 for non-Europeans graduating in Italy with a valid permit); selection scores up to 100 points (study coherence max 30, curriculum max 65, extra language skills max 5); 50/100 or more = eligible; interview only if the committee needs it.

Europeans: proof by an English B2 university exam passed within the degree, or a language certificate recognised by UniTrento (list on cla.unitn.it/node/780); if neither, pass the University Language Centre (CLA) English test before enrolment (six test sessions in 2026, the last: registration 5 Oct - 13 Nov at 12.00 CET, written part 23 Nov, speaking 4 Dec). Non-Europeans abroad: copy of English certificate, or a statement from the university that the degree was taught in English, or self-declaration of English-speaking-country citizenship or of graduating in an English-speaking country. No Italian required.

Europeans and equivalents: online admission request; if you studied at another university, a self-declaration of exams taken with, for each exam, SSD, credits (CFU), date, final grade and syllabus; English B2 proof (certificate or in-degree exam) or CLA test before enrolment. Non-Europeans abroad (upload with the online application, official translation if not in English/Italian): valid passport (personal-data pages), curriculum vitae et studiorum (Europass preferred), bachelor's degree certificate or enrolment certificate with expected graduation date and full grading-scale information, transcript of records with all exams, marks, weighted average and mark range, English B2 proof as described above; application fee EUR 30 (paid by the deadline).
