1) Educational qualification: an Italian secondary school diploma ('diploma di maturita') or an equivalent foreign qualification, already held or to be obtained by 31 July 2026. A foreign qualification must have been obtained after at least 12 years of schooling, after attending the final two years of the foreign education system concerned, and must give access to a comparable university programme in the issuing country; where the issuing country requires an academic suitability test for university entry, proof of passing it is required (examples explicitly listed in the call: Selectividad in Spain, Gaokao in China, Prova de Afericao / Prova Geral de Acesso ao Ensino Superior in Portugal, YKS in Turkey, Konkur in Afghanistan). 2) Test requirement: pass the TOLC-I or CEnT-S within the validity windows of the chosen session (test taken in calendar year 2025 or 2026). 3) Age: non-EU candidates only must have reached the age of majority by 30 September 2026. 4) Seats for a.y. 2026/2027, Computer Science (English track), total 105: 1st session 70 seats = 27 for EU and equivalent with TOLC-I + 18 for EU and equivalent with CEnT-S + 25 reserved for non-EU candidates with CEnT-S; 2nd session 25 seats (EU and equivalent, TOLC-I only); 3rd session 10 seats (EU and equivalent, TOLC-I only). Unassigned first-session places roll over to later sessions. 5) Minimum eligibility thresholds: 18/50 on the TOLC-I; 16/45 on the CEnT-S. The admission call adds that students admitted to Computer Science (English track) 'must pass an English proficiency exam at the level required by the Degree Program Regulations within their first year of study'. No specific IELTS/TOEFL score is published as a hard admission gate: proficiency can be demonstrated by (a) taking and passing the English test at the University Language Centre (CLA) before the start of the second year, or (b) submitting, after enrolment, a recognised international language certificate at a level equal to or higher than the required level (list of accepted certificates published by CLA). Free CLA language courses are available. Certificate recognition is requested through the online application 'Language certificates - Departments of Physics, Information Engineering and Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, CIBIO' on webapps.unitn.it. Additional requirements specific to the English curriculum: native Italian speakers must reach English C1 or Technical English before taking 3rd-year exams; non-native Italian speakers must pass a basic Italian language proficiency test before taking 3rd-year exams (an Italian language A1 course worth 3 CFU is offered in the year-1 'Choice of language' slot).
