• 1) Educational qualification: an Italian secondary school diploma ('diploma di maturita') or an equivalent foreign qualification, already held or to be obtained by 31 July 2026. A foreign qualification must have been obtained after at least 12 years of schooling, after attending the final two years of the foreign education system concerned, and must give access to a comparable university programme in the issuing country; where the issuing country requires an academic suitability test for university entry, proof of passing it is required (examples explicitly listed in the call: Selectividad in Spain, Gaokao in China, Prova de Afericao / Prova Geral de Acesso ao Ensino Superior in Portugal, YKS in Turkey, Konkur in Afghanistan). 2) Test requirement: pass the TOLC-I or CEnT-S within the validity windows of the chosen session (test taken in calendar year 2025 or 2026). 3) Age: non-EU candidates only must have reached the age of majority by 30 September 2026. 4) Seats for a.y. 2026/2027, Computer Science (English track), total 105: 1st session 70 seats = 27 for EU and equivalent with TOLC-I + 18 for EU and equivalent with CEnT-S + 25 reserved for non-EU candidates with CEnT-S
• 2nd session 25 seats (EU and equivalent, TOLC-I only)
• 3rd session 10 seats (EU and equivalent, TOLC-I only). Unassigned first-session places roll over to later sessions. 5) Minimum eligibility thresholds: 18/50 on the TOLC-I

English (English curriculum): B2 level, 'which you need to acquire or certify during the admission process or at the latest before taking exams belonging to the 2nd and 3rd year'. The year-1 study plan contains a compulsory 0-CFU 'Language Test: English B2' (code COCS_EN_B2). The admission call adds that students admitted to Computer Science (English track) 'must pass an English proficiency exam at the level required by the Degree Program Regulations within their first year of study'. No specific IELTS/TOEFL score is published as a hard admission gate: proficiency can be demonstrated by (a) taking and passing the English test at the University Language Centre (CLA) before the start of the second year, or (b) submitting, after enrolment, a recognised international language certificate at a level equal to or higher than the required level (list of accepted certificates published by CLA). Free CLA language courses are available. Certificate recognition is requested through the online application 'Language certificates - Departments of Physics, Information Engineering and Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, CIBIO' on webapps.unitn.it. Additional requirements specific to the English curriculum: native Italian speakers must reach English C1 or Technical English before taking 3rd-year exams; non-native Italian speakers must pass a basic Italian language proficiency test before taking 3rd-year exams (an Italian language A1 course worth 3 CFU is offered in the year-1 'Choice of language' slot). Note: the English section at the end of the TOLC-I does not count towards the admission score and, for the English track, does not substitute the B2 requirement (that substitution route is stated only for the Italian curriculum). For comparison, the Italian curriculum requires English A2 then B1.

• CISIA admission test, no UniTrento-specific exam and no interview. Two routes for a.y. 2026/2027: (a) TOLC-I - national CISIA test, 50 scored questions (Mathematics 20, Logic 10, Sciences 10, Verbal comprehension 10
• 110 min) plus a compulsory but unscored 30-question English section (15 min); can be taken in person (TOLC@UNI) at any CISIA university or online (TOLC@HOME); fee EUR 35.00; may be repeated but not more than once per calendar month; minimum threshold 18/50; valid for the English track in all three sessions. (b) CEnT-S (CISIA English Test - Sciences) - English-language CISIA test used specifically for DISI's English-taught programmes
• 55 questions of which UniTrento scores 45 (Mathematics 15, Reasoning on texts and data 15, Chemistry 10, Physics 5 - the 10 Biology questions are excluded), 90 min; taken in person (CEnT@UNI) or from home (CEnT@CASA); fee EUR 55.00; can be taken once per macro-period (macro-period 1: Nov-Dec 2025 and Jan 2026; macro-period 2: Feb-Mar 2026); scores are normalised and published at the end of each macro-period; minimum threshold 16/45; valid for the first session only

• • UniTrento does not publish a single consolidated document checklist for this programme; the documents named in the 2026/27 admission call and linked pages are: (1) identification/authentication for the online application - SPID, CIE (Italian electronic ID) or a UniTrento account; non-EU applicants and applicants without an Italian tax code/ID must register a UniTrento 'guest' account at least three working days before the deadline
  • (2) CISIA test registration and completed TOLC-I or CEnT-S (results are retrieved automatically by UniTrento from the CISIA database - no document upload by the candidate)
  • (3) for candidates with a foreign qualification (uploaded during the online application, .pdf or .jpg): if the final qualification is not yet obtained, a Transcript of Records with subjects and grades for the last two years of study; if already obtained, a scanned copy of the diploma - a certified translation into Italian or English is required unless the document is in English, French, German or Spanish
