Applicants at or above the guaranteed threshold (TIL-I 60/100) reserve a place/enrol 14 April - 31 August 2026, 2 p.m. Ranking list 23 July 2026, place reservation/enrolment until 31 August 2026, 2 p.m.; ranking updates on 1, 4, 8 and 11 September 2026 (reserve/enrol by 3, 7, 10 and 14 September 2026, 2 p.m.); ranking lists close 6 October 2026 (no later round). Programme choices can be changed and the English B2 certificate must be entered by 22 May 2026. With fewer years: 11 years + all first-year university exams passed; or 10 years + all first- and second-year exams passed; or 10/11 years + a related post-secondary qualification from a non-university institution; or 10/11 years + a Foundation Course accepted by PoliTo. US High School Diploma: at least 3 Advanced Placements (scores 3-5) in three different subjects related to the programme, or a full year of subsequent university studies
  • UK GCE/IGCE: at least 3 A-levels in different related subjects
  • Scottish diploma: 3 Advanced Highers or 2 Advanced Highers + at least 4 Highers

A.Y. 2026/27: TIL-I (Test in Laib - Ingegneria), compulsory unless a SAT score is submitted. In person in PoliTo computer labs (Torino main campus, Mondovi) or at the TTPU hub in Tashkent; available in English and Italian; 42 questions in 1 h 30 min (16 Mathematics in 36 min, 10 Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning in 20 min, 10 Physics in 22 min, 6 Basic Technical Knowledge in 12 min); +1 correct, -0.25 wrong, 0 blank, converted to /100. Fee EUR 50 per session; at most 3 attempts (one per session, best score counts). Minimum 30/100 to enter the ranking lists; 60/100 = guaranteed admission to the first-choice programme; below 4.8/16 in Mathematics gives additional learning obligations (OFA). Sessions: 19 February; 10, 14, 26 March; 7, 8, 17 April; 4, 5, 22 May 2026 (all applicants); 15, 17, 20 July 2026 (EU and Equivalent only); Tashkent 9 April and 7 May 2026. The TIL-I score is valid only for A.Y. 2026/27. Alternative: SAT with at least 650 in each section (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Math), College Board code 7679, entered in Apply@polito by 30 April 2026; no guaranteed threshold - SAT applicants are ranked after guaranteed-threshold TIL-I applicants and before the other TIL-I applicants.
