Non-EU applicants living abroad (visa applicants) could apply only through the regular calls (N4SIS track): 1st call 19 December 2025 - 13 February 2026, 2:00 p.m. Italian time (results 15 April 2026) and 2nd call 18 March - 20 April 2026, 2:00 p.m. (results 22 June 2026). The MNIS international-track call (24 April - 18 May 2026), the 3rd call (3-17 November 2026) and the 2nd-semester intake are not open to them. Both rounds open to them have closed; the next will be the A.Y. 2027/28 1st call (not yet announced). Universitaly pre-enrolment (separate step, mandatory for the type D study visa; PoliTo calls these dates indicative and the portal remains open): by 30 June 2026 if eligible in the 1st call, by 15 July 2026 if eligible in the 2nd call. After admission: online enrolment 31 July - 5 October 2026 (enrolment documents uploaded by 5 October 2026); type D study visa uploaded by 30 November 2026.
Official level type: Master's degree programme (Laurea Magistrale, 2nd cycle)
General Rule: Admission requires a three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent foreign qualification recognised as suitable for admission, satisfaction of specific curricular requirements, and academic performance considered suitable for admission.
Curricular Requirements: Applicants must have at least 40 credits in CHIM/07, FIS/01, FIS/03, ING-INF/05, MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/05 and at least 60 credits in CHIM/07, FIS/01, FIS/02, FIS/03, FIS/04, ING-IND/22, ING-IND/31, ING-IND/33, ING-INF/01, ING-INF/02, ING-INF/03, ING-INF/04, ING-INF/05, ING-INF/06, ING-INF/07, MAT/06, MAT/07, MAT/08. Credits that belong to both groups are counted first toward the 40-credit group and the remainder toward the 60-credit group.
