Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

A.Y. 2026/27 (Electronics Engineering Teaching Regulations section 6; programme page). An EQF level 6 qualification is required: a Laurea, a University Diploma or a foreign qualification such as a Bachelor of Science deemed equivalent by Politecnico di Milano, from a programme of at least three years; applicants not yet graduated may be admitted on condition that they graduate within the published terms (Italian-degree final-year students: at least 145 certified ECTS). Admission requires both curricular requirements and adequate preparation, decided by the Admissions Commission of Electronic Engineering. Required knowledge: a solid background in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science and good knowledge of the core subjects of Electronics (electronic devices and circuits, fundamentals of automation, computer science and telecommunications), similar to the Polimi BSc in Electronics. Adequate preparation: Polimi BSc Electronics Engineering graduates with a weighted average of at least 22/30 (or at least 25/30 on 105 ECTS by the autumn session of the second year with the degree within 4 years); graduates of other Polimi programmes, other Italian universities or a University Diploma with at least 23/30; Polimi School of Industrial and Information Engineering graduates with at least 28/30 are admitted without integrations. Foreign-degree applicants: the Commission evaluates the whole career, the syllabi of the exams taken and the attachments; for foreign qualifications the curricular requirements cannot be met through curricular integrations (obligations or prohibitions in the study plan may still be set). The degree must give access to EQF level 7 and Polimi's country-specific minimum CGPA applies where one is set (e.g. Turkey 3 out of 4). For Italian-degree applicants, missing background can be assigned as integrations (single courses passed before enrolment, max 30 ECTS in addition to the 120 ECTS).

Dil yeterliliği

A.Y. 2027/28 (Admissions Office list 'updated for A.Y. 2027/2028'). English certification is required of all MSc applicants: TOEFL iBT / Home Edition at least 78 for tests taken until 20/01/2026 or at least 4.5 for tests taken from 21/01/2026 (paper-based at least 547, computer-based at least 210; Polimi TOEFL code 9795); TOEIC at least 785 Listening & Reading + 310 Speaking & Writing (from A.Y. 2027/28; the 720 L&R threshold applied to 2026/27 only); Cambridge Proficiency grade C, Advanced grade C or First grade B; IELTS Academic or General Training at least 6; Trinity ISE II; PTE Academic overall at least 59; Pearson PEIC overall at least 59; LanguageCert ESOL B2 Communicator (4 skills). Certificates considered expired by the issuing body are not accepted. Exemption: a bachelor taught in English for at least 3 years, proven by a university document confirming that at least 75% of the courses were taught in English. The certificate is not needed to submit the application and does not affect the evaluation, but it is mandatory for the admission letter, merit-based scholarships, the visa and enrolment. The programme regulations instead say that English must be certified at the time of application for admission (see uncertainty_notes). Italian is not an entry requirement for this English-taught programme; international students must prove Italian proficiency (B2 certificate, or Polimi's free course and exit test) before graduating (Italian OFA).
