Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

A.Y. 2026/27 (Educational Regulations Section 6, School of Design admission guide 2026/27, programme page). A first-level degree (EQF level 6) or equivalent in class L-4 Industrial Design; degrees in L-3 (Visual Arts, Music, Performing Arts and Fashion), L-8 (Information Engineering), L-9 (Industrial Engineering) or L-17 (Architecture Sciences) are admitted only with at least 36 CFU in CEAR-08/D (formerly ICAR/13) and 08/CEAR-10 (formerly ICAR/17); without these the Committee evaluates additional academic and professional qualifications in design and may assign curricular integrations (single courses; at most 5 places for this programme in 2026/27) to be completed before the assessment. Foreign degrees: the same criteria apply when the subject areas and credits can be identified, otherwise the Programme Board assesses the career; the degree must give access to EQF level 7 and meet Polimi's country-specific minimum CGPA where listed (e.g. Turkey 3 out of 4, India 70 out of 100, China 80%, Iran 15.5 out of 20, Pakistan 3.3 out of 4). Prerequisites before the assessment: weighted average of at least 23/30 for Polimi graduates and at least 25/30 for graduates of other Italian universities (the average is assessed only for Italian qualifications), and English at least B2. Final-year bachelor students may apply with at least 145 CFU (2026/27 and 2027/28; 120 CFU from 2028/29); Italian-degree applicants must graduate by 15 December 2026. Admission then depends on the assessment of individual preparation (portfolio or thesis abstract, CV, motivation letter, study plan for non-Polimi candidates) and the position in the merit ranking. Polimi Product Design bachelor students in continuity may use direct admission (degree within 4 years, at least 114 CFU and a weighted average of at least 27/30; valid up to 2027/28 admissions).

  • No application dates for A.Y. 2027/28 are published yet (checked 27 September 2026); the deadlines, admission rules, documents and assessment details shown are for A.Y. 2026/27 and will change when Polimi publishes the 2027/28 calendar. The list of accepted English certificates is the one Polimi has already published for A.Y. 2027/28.
  • The programme is taught in Italian or English: section IP1 is taught in Italian and English, section IP2 in English.
  • Two official sources differ on when applicants with a foreign degree must provide the English certificate: the Admissions Office page says it is not needed to submit the application, while the programme regulations and the School of Design guide make English proficiency a prerequisite of the assessment, also for foreign degrees.
  • Polimi's Admissions Office asks applicants to programmes taught in Italian and English for an Italian B2 certificate; it does not say whether this applies to applicants who want only the English-taught section IP2.
  • The School of Design admission guide linked as the call covers applicants with an Italian degree; applicants with a foreign degree follow the procedure and deadlines on Polimi's foreign-qualification pages.
  • The Italian-degree application window (22 June - 7 July 2026, application completed by 7 July at 12:00 midday) is confirmed in the School of Design admission guide for A.Y. 2026/27.
  • The minimum CGPA examples by country (e.g. Turkey 3/4, India 70/100, China 80%) come from Polimi's foreign-qualification requirements page; other countries have different minimums or none.
