Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

A.Y. 2026/27 (Teaching Regulations 2026/27 plus the School of Civil, Environmental and Land Management Engineering admission criteria of 12 June 2020, still published as the School's MSc admission rules). A bachelor (BSc) degree or equivalent is required; the programme page lists 'A Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Land Use Planning' (that page says its information refers to 2025/26). A School commission evaluates the applicant's curriculum and checks that the bachelor's credits correspond to those required for access to an Italian MSc; a typical BSc in Civil Engineering gives access without extra restrictions, otherwise specific courses may be added to the study plan. The programme website names Civil or Environmental Engineering as the most suitable background, while other careers are evaluated by a panel. School criteria: Polimi graduates of a continuity bachelor are admitted automatically with at least 100 CFU and a weighted average of at least 24/30 by 30 September of the second year plus the degree within 4 academic years, or with a degree average of at least 22.00/30, 22.50/30 or 23.00/30 depending on the years taken; graduates of other Italian universities need a favourable committee opinion, any assigned curricular integrations and a weighted average of at least 24/30; foreign graduates need a favourable committee opinion and verification of the suitability of the degree. Foreign degrees must also give access to EQF level 7, contain subjects closely related to the programme and meet the Admissions Office's country-specific minimum CGPA where one is set (for example India 70/100, China 80%, Turkey 3/4, Iran 15.5/20, Pakistan 3.3/4). Final-year students may apply if they graduate before enrolment (Italian-degree applicants: 145 certified ECTS).

A.Y. 2027/28 (Admissions Office list 'updated for A.Y. 2027/2028'). English certification is required of all MSc applicants: TOEFL iBT / Home Edition at least 78 for tests taken until 20/01/2026 or at least 4.5 for tests taken from 21/01/2026 (paper-based at least 547, computer-based at least 210; Polimi TOEFL code 9795); TOEIC at least 785 Listening & Reading + 310 Speaking & Writing (from A.Y. 2027/28; the 720 L&R threshold applied to 2026/27 only); Cambridge Proficiency grade C, Advanced grade C or First grade B; IELTS Academic or General Training at least 6; Trinity ISE II; PTE Academic overall at least 59; Pearson PEIC overall at least 59; LanguageCert ESOL B2 Communicator (4 skills). Certificates considered expired by the issuing body are not accepted. Exemption: a bachelor taught in English for at least 3 years, proven by a university document confirming that at least 75% of the courses were taught in English. The certificate is not needed to submit the application and does not affect the evaluation, but it is mandatory for the admission letter, merit-based scholarships, the visa and enrolment. Italian is not an entry requirement for this English-taught programme; international students must prove Italian proficiency (B2 certificate, or Polimi's free course and exit test) before graduating (Italian OFA).
