Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

A.Y. 2026/27 (programme page and Teaching Regulations; these requirements apply only to the year of the regulations, and a new MSc admission model starts in 2028/29). Italian degree: a first-cycle degree in class L-7 (Civil and Environmental Engineering), L-8 (Information Engineering), L-9 (Industrial Engineering) or L-25 (Agricultural and Forestry Sciences and Technologies); otherwise at least 180 credits, including at least 20 credits in mathematics, physics and chemistry and at least 20 credits in core engineering fields (water engineering, telecommunications/automation, industrial engineering). The bachelor's degree must be obtained within 6 years of first enrolment (by 31 March of the 6th year; not applied to holders of a master's degree). An Admission Committee evaluates the grades in basic and core courses; any curricular supplements must be completed before enrolment (enrolment with outstanding training requirements is not permitted). Final-year students may apply (Italian-degree route: at least 145 certified ECTS). Foreign degree: a Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification deemed suitable by the Degree Program Council; the same credit criteria apply when the subject sectors and credits can be identified, otherwise the Council evaluates the whole academic career; the Admission Committee decides on academic merit and adequate mastery of basic scientific and engineering disciplines. The Polimi Admissions Office also applies strict country-specific minimum CGPA and eligibility rules (the degree must give access to EQF level 7). The Admission Commission assigns each admitted student a track: AGA, AGE or AGM for engineering graduates, AGI for non-engineering graduates.

A.Y. 2027/28 (Admissions Office list of accepted certificates, 'updated for A.Y. 2027/2028'). Certified English is required for admission to every Polimi MSc. Accepted certificates and minimum scores: TOEFL (Polimi code 9795) paper-based at least 547, computer-based at least 210, iBT and TOEFL Home Edition at least 78 for tests taken until 20/01/2026 or at least 4.5 (new scale) for tests taken from 21/01/2026; TOEIC at least 785 Listening & Reading plus at least 310 Speaking & Writing (from A.Y. 2027/28; the 720 L&R threshold applied to 2026/27 only); Cambridge Proficiency grade C, Advanced grade C or First grade B; IELTS Academic or General Training at least 6; Trinity ISE II; PTE Academic overall at least 59; Pearson PEIC overall at least 59; LanguageCert ESOL B2 Communicator (4 skills). Certificates considered expired by the issuing institution are not accepted. Exemption: a Bachelor's degree taught in English for at least 3 years, proven by a university document confirming that at least 75% of the courses were taught in English. Timing for foreign-degree applicants: the certificate is not needed to submit the online application and does not affect the evaluation, but it is mandatory to obtain the admission letter, merit scholarships, the visa and to enrol. Applicants with an Italian degree must provide it by the deadlines of the admission procedure. For Agricultural Engineering the programme page asks non-Italian-degree applicants to submit the certificate 'at the time of application' [uncertain: this is stricter than the Admissions Office rule above; uploading it with the application is the safe option]. Italian: not an entry requirement for this English-taught programme; international students must prove Italian proficiency before graduating (Italian OFA: free Polimi Italian course with exit test, or an Italian certificate).

  • Application dates, places, application fees and the programme's admission rules shown here are for A.Y. 2026/27; Politecnico di Milano has not yet published the 2027/28 Master of Science application calendar (in the 2026/27 cycle the first application window opened on 1 October 2025). The list of accepted English certificates is already the A.Y. 2027/28 version.
  • The programme page asks applicants with a non-Italian degree to submit the English certificate at the time of application, while the Admissions Office says it is not needed to apply but is required for the admission letter, merit scholarships, the visa and enrolment; uploading it with the application is the safe option.
  • The programme is officially taught in English, but a few first-semester alignment courses and one elective are listed with Italian titles in the 2026/27 study plan; their teaching language is not confirmed.
  • Visa/pre-enrolment deadline and exact document authentication route remain applicant-specific.
