Engineering Laurea admission uses Polimi/CISIA test and ranking/enrolment procedures. The SAT alternative-test registration deadline found in the official 2026/2027 page is 4 June 2026 at 11:59 CEST; the high-school diploma score upload/enrolment document deadline found in the official page is 10 September 2026.
High school diploma with at least 12 years of education; foreign qualifications may need additional verification, foundation course, CIMEA/DoV, or country-specific checks. Admission test participation requirements also apply.
For English-taught Laurea programmes, applicants must demonstrate English before enrolment. Accepted routes include English-official citizenship, qualification obtained in English, or recognised certification such as TOEFL iBT >= 59, IELTS >= 5, or Cambridge B2 First Grade C, subject to official validity rules.
A.Y. 2026/27: TOL (Polimi online test, remote, delivered in Italian: 65 questions in 100 minutes - English 30, logic/mathematics/statistics 25, verbal comprehension 5, physics 5; EUR 35 fee; standard windows 1 February-10 March 2026 and 11 March-31 May 2026, at most one attempt per window) or an alternative test converted to a TOL score: CEnT-S (CISIA, in English), TOLC-I (CISIA, in Italian) or SAT (Polimi code 7364). Minimum score 30/100 (rounded) for the rankings. CEnT-S/TOLC-I taken 1 September 2025-4 June 2026 and SAT taken 1 January 2025-4 May 2026 must be registered in Online Services by 11:59 am CEST on 4 June 2026. Early enrolment (4 May-11 June 2026) with SAT required at least 620 in each of the two sections. Candidates must understand the language of the test, so applicants without Italian normally use CEnT-S or SAT.
