Open access, no separate application: first-year enrolment (immatricolazione) online on ESSE3 "By September 30th" 2026 (A.Y. 2026/27); late registration possible via the university's Late Registration procedure. Fees can be paid in two instalments: 50% by 21 Dec 2026, 50% by 22 Mar 2027. TOLC-I sessions: see entry_exam_or_test. No programme-specific dates found beyond the university-wide calendar.
Secondary school diploma or an equivalent foreign qualification recognised as suitable (Regolamento Art. 3: "diploma di scuola secondaria superiore o ... analogo titolo di studio conseguito all'estero, riconosciuto idoneo"). For foreign applicants the international office asks for the original diploma obtained after at least 12 years of schooling with certified Italian translation, plus declaration of value or CIMEA Statement of Comparability and legalisation/Apostille (or CIMEA verification). Recommended background: basic mathematics and physics (arithmetic/algebra, geometry, analytic geometry and functions, trigonometry, physics, chemistry) and logical reasoning; ability to speak and understand Italian is only "opportuno" [advisable]. English-taught curriculum (Civil Engineering): certificate of English at level B2 (CEFR) at the moment of enrolment (Regolamento Art. 3 c.2: "certificazione di conoscenza della lingua inglese di livello B2 ... all'atto dell'immatricolazione"; equivalent titles are accepted for EU and non-EU candidates). The accepted certificate list/minimum scores are not enumerated on the official pages I read. Italian: not compulsory for the English curriculum according to the Regolamento (Italian only "opportuno"). For non-EU visa applicants the international office states: "La certificazione o il test di conoscenza della lingua livello B2 è richiesta per tutte le lingue in cui è erogato il corso" [B2 proof required for all languages in which the course is taught]; it offers the CISIA ITA-L2 (Bravo!) test (pass mark 49; expected 2026 dates 25/06, 17/07, 18/09/2026), exemptions under Art. 6 of the 2026-2027 Circular. whether an Italian B2/ITA-L2 proof is also demanded from applicants who choose only the English curriculum (the wording is generic and the programme is officially bilingual); ask the International Mobility Sector before applying.
TOLC-I (CISIA) knowledge-verification test; for the English curriculum the Regolamento (Art. 3 c.5) says CISIA provides "English TOLC-I Level B2". DICEAM TOLC-I page: the test is "solo auto-valutativo" [only self-assessing], score does not prevent enrolment; a score below 13.50 gives OFA, to be cleared within year 1 by recovery courses or by passing the matching exams (Mathematical Analysis I, Geometry, Physics, Chemistry). Sessions listed for the 2026/27 cycle (as read by the fetch tool): TOLC@CASA 16 Apr and 20 May 2026; TOLC@UNI 22 Jul, 2, 9, 16 Aug, 2 and 16 Sep 2026; TOLC@CASA 8 Oct 2026; CISIA registration fee EUR 35. whether these dates are the same as for the English TOLC-I and how the older Regolamento rule (test before the start of the academic year) is applied in practice.
