Official level type: Bachelor's degree programme (Laurea, 1st cycle) Diploma: Secondary high school diploma (level 4 EQF) earned after at least 12 years of school attendance; Fewer Than 12 Years: Applicants with a diploma earned after 11 years of schooling must additionally complete all first-year university exams with a passing grade (or other supplementary post-secondary qualifications / approved Foundation Course); Selection: Capped number of students with a mandatory admission test; offers of admission go to applicants with the highest TIL-I scores (or SAT score) until all places are filled; Us Diploma Note: US High School Diploma accepted with at least 3 Advanced Placements (APs) scored 3-5; British A-levels (3 subjects), Scottish Advanced Highers, or IB Diploma also accepted Country-specific eligibility: Applicants with a non-Italian qualification (e.g. Turkey) must hold a level 4 EQF secondary diploma from at least 12 years of schooling and present a national admission test certificate where required (for Turkey: YKS). Primary: TIL-I (Test in Laib - Ingegneria) - in person for a.y. 2026/27 at the Torino LAIB labs (and Mondovi campus); Format: 42 questions in 1 hour 30 minutes across 4 sections: Mathematics (16 q / 36 min), Reading Comprehension & Logical Reasoning (10 q / 20 min), Physics (10 q / 22 min), Basic technical knowledge (6 q / 12 min); 5 options each (A-E); Scoring: +1 per correct answer, -0.25 per wrong answer, 0 for unanswered; score converted to hundredths; Sessions: 1st 19 Feb 2026; 2nd 10 Mar 2026; 3rd 7 Apr 2026; 4th 4 May 2026; 5th 15 Jul 2026 (EU/Equivalent only); Alternative: SAT score may be submitted instead of taking TIL-I; via College Board to Politecnico Test score or threshold: TIL-I: admission is by ranking on highest scores until places fill; there is a guaranteed admission threshold (specific value set in the Call). SAT alternative: minimum 650 points in EACH of the two sections (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math) - this only allows inclusion in the ranking list and does not guarantee admission; ranking uses the sum of the two SAT section scores.
