Qualification: Applicants must hold a three-year Bachelor's degree, university diploma, or equivalent foreign qualification recognized as suitable for admission.
Curricular Requirements: Applicants must have earned at least 40 credits in FIS/01, FIS/03, ING-INF/05, MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/05 and at least 60 credits in CHIM/07, ING-IND/22, ING-IND/31, ING-IND/33, ING-INF/01, ING-INF/02, ING-INF/03, ING-INF/04, ING-INF/05, ING-INF/06, ING-INF/07.
English Taught Route: For the English-taught route, the 2026/2027 course-specific requirements sheet states IELTS 5.5 as the minimum reference requirement, corresponding to English level B2 or above.
Partially Italian Route: For the partially Italian / partially English route, the official 2026/2027 sources require English level B2 or above plus Italian level B2 or above; the course-specific requirements sheet lists Italian B2 and IELTS 5.5.
Accepted Certificates: Accepted English certificates are those in the PoliTo CLA B2 table, including IELTS 5.5, Pearson PTE Academic 59, TOEFL iBT 72 if obtained before 21 January 2026, TOEFL iBT Total 4 if obtained after 21 January 2026 , TOEIC Listening 400 / Reading 385 / Speaking 160 / Writing 150, and Cambridge B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency according to the official table. Accepted Italian certificates and exemptions are listed in the official Italian-language table.

The credit, grade-average and oral-interview rules for applicants with an Italian degree come from the A.Y. 2025/26 Academic Regulations, the latest version linked from the programme page; a 2026/27 version is not published yet.
The 2025/26 Academic Regulations describe three specialist tracks taught entirely in English (Electronic Micro- and Nanosystems, Devices and Technologies for Integrated Electronics and Optoelectronics, Embedded Systems), but the 2026/27 curriculum page shows English for every listed course only in Embedded Systems. Check the curriculum of your track before applying.
For TOEFL iBT tests taken after 21 January 2026, PoliTo's B2 table (revised January 2026) lists a minimum total of 4 on the new TOEFL score scale; check the official table if your score report uses a different scale.
The programme page mentions Double Master's Degree options with partner universities; their own admission rules, deadlines and fees are not covered here.
The 3rd call is open to Master's programmes in the field of Engineering; this programme is not named on that page, so its inclusion is inferred from its Engineering degree class (LM-29).
