  • Official level type: Bachelor's degree programme (Laurea, 1st cycle)
  • Secondary School Diploma: A secondary high-school diploma (EQF level 4) awarded after at least 12 years of school attendance. For diplomas awarded after fewer than 12 years, completion of one or two years of university exams, a related post-secondary qualification, or an approved Foundation Course is required to reach the equivalent of 12 years.
  • National Admission Test Certificate: Applicants from countries where a national admission test is mandatory (e.g. Turkey's YKS, China's Gao Kao, Brazil's Vestibular) must upload a certificate attesting they have passed that national admission test.

  • English Level: English certificate at CEFR level B2 or above is required for enrolment in the English-taught track of this Bachelor's programme.
  • Accepted Certificates: Certificates accepted by PoliTo are listed in the official table of the PoliTo Language Centre (CLA), 'Table adopted on 23/09/2019 - updated on 22/12/2022' (includes IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge and others).
  • Exemptions: Exemptions apply for, e.g., an IB Diploma taught in English, European School diplomas (L1 English), and qualifications taught in English from institutions in the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

  • Format: 90 minutes, 42 questions: 16 Mathematics, 10 Reading Comprehension/Logical Reasoning, 10 Physics, 6 Basic technical knowledge; +1 per correct answer, -0.25 per incorrect answer, 0 for unanswered; score converted to /100.
  • Sessions: Five sessions February-July 2026; registration opens Tuesday 27th January 2026. Last TIL-I session deadline for non-EU visa applicants is 22nd May 2026.
