Admission call round: one Call for Applications for the Engineering Bachelor's programmes (A.Y. 2026/27, Rector's decree no. 1412/2025) with in-person TIL-I sessions: sessions 1-4 open to all applicants (19 February; 10, 14 and 26 March; 7, 8 and 17 April; 4, 5 and 22 May 2026), two TIL-I dates at the TTPU hub in Tashkent (9 April and 7 May 2026), and session 5 for EU and Equivalent applicants only (15, 17 and 20 July 2026). Last session for non-EU visa applicants: 22 May 2026. SAT scores by 30 April 2026. Places go first to TIL-I scores of 60/100 or more, then SAT holders, then TIL-I scores from 30/100.   • English: For enrolment in an English-taught Bachelor's programme (including the fully-English Automotive Engineering track), applicants must hold an English language certificate at CEFR B2 level or above. Accepted certificates are listed in PoliTo's official table (adopted 23/09/2019, updated 22/12/2022): IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge English, Pearson PTE, etc.
  • Italian: An Italian B2 certificate is required only for the Italian-taught option (the bilingual 1st-and-2nd-year-Italian path). It is NOT required for the 'entirely in English' track.
  • Exemptions: Exemptions from the English requirement apply to holders of qualifications taught fully in English (e.g. IB full English curriculum, European Schools English L1, and qualifications from the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or other countries with English as the medium of instruction).

  • Primary Test: TIL-I (Test in Laib – Ingegneria): an in-person, computer-based test taken at Politecnico, available in English and Italian. 42 questions in 4 sections within 1h30m: 16 Math (36 min), 10 Reading Comprehension & Logical Reasoning (20 min), 10 Physics (22 min), 6 Basic Technical Knowledge (12 min). Scoring: +1 correct, 0 blank, -0.25 wrong, converted to /100.
  • Alternative Test: SAT as an alternative to TIL-I: minimum 650 in each of the 'Evidence-Based Reading and Writing' and 'Math' sections
  • College Board must send the official score to PoliTo (institution code 7679)

  • The English version of the call for applications is a courtesy translation; the Italian version is the only legally binding text.
  • The call sets an Italian B2 requirement for Italian-taught programmes and an English B2 requirement for English-taught programmes; it does not say which certificate the multilingual option (Years 1-2 in Italian, Year 3 in English) requires.

  • Registration for TIL-I sessions 1-4 opened on 22 January 2026 according to the admission-test page, while the session table of the call gives 27 January 2026.
  • The Tashkent TIL-I dates (9 April and 7 May 2026) come from the admission-test page; the call itself only says that further TIL-I tests are held at the Politecnico hub in Uzbekistan.
