A.Y. 2026/27 (2027/28 not published on 27 September 2026). Required qualification: a Bachelor's degree (EQF level 6) or an equivalent foreign academic qualification giving access to second-cycle studies, after at least 15 years of total schooling; applicants still enrolled in a 5- or 6-year single-cycle foreign degree may apply with at least 15 years of schooling (at least 3 at university level) and at least 180 ECTS credits. Curricular requirements (2026/27 Academic Regulations of the LM-23 Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Ingegneria civile, issued by D.R. no. 525 of 28/05/2026): at least 40 credits in basic-science subject areas (chemistry, physics, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics) and at least 60 credits in characterising and related subject areas (mainly civil-engineering areas such as hydraulics, roads and transport, geomatics, geotechnics, structural mechanics, structural engineering, construction management, plus related areas such as applied geology, materials, environmental and electrical engineering); the Academic Advisor can admit an applicant missing up to 10 credits, more than 10 missing credits need the approval of the Collegio Coordinator; missing credits must be made up before enrolment through single courses (up to 60 credits) or a shortened Bachelor's career (more than 60 credits). Recommended background for applicants with a non-Italian qualification (course-specific requirements sheet 2026/27): any field of Engineering. Suitable academic performance: non-Italian qualifications are assessed on Apply@polito by professors of the programme designated by the Collegio Coordinator (Academic Committee), who check academic performance and the consistency of previous studies with the programme; graduates of other Italian universities need a weighted average of at least 24/30 (computed excluding the worst 28 credits), or, with an average above 21/30 and below 24/30, a positive merit oral interview; Politecnico di Torino graduates: no minimum average if the Bachelor's took up to 4 years, at least 21/30 if more than 4 and up to 5 years, at least 24/30 if more than 5 years (a merit interview is possible for the cases below these thresholds set in the regulations). Certified English at B2 level is part of the requirements. A positive evaluation is valid only for the academic year applied for.
