A.Y. 2026/27 (the 2027/28 calendar is not published yet). Non-EU applicants living abroad with a foreign degree apply in Politecnico di Milano's Architecture and Design general call: 1 October 2025 - 29 January 2026 (11.59pm CET), early bird deadline 1 December 2025 (application fee EUR 50; EUR 150 from 2 December); outcomes by the end of May 2026. The additional call of 27 February - 31 March 2026 is open only to EEA students and non-EEA residents in Italy. Design programmes admit students only in the 1st semester (no February intake). No programme-specific exception is published. Places 2026/27: 40 of 110 reserved for extra-EU students. Universitaly: Polimi strongly suggests that students admitted to the 1st semester 2026/27 submit the Universitaly visa application by the end of June 2026 (national visa deadline 30 November 2026).

Weighted average of at least 23/30 for Politecnico di Milano candidates and at least 25/30 for candidates from other Italian universities, checked before the assessment. Final-year bachelor students may apply with at least 145 CFU and must graduate by 15 December 2026. Foreign-degree applicants: a bachelor or equivalent in design, architecture or engineering, assessed by the Programme Board on the subject areas and credits (case-by-case if they cannot be identified), plus Politecnico di Milano's country-specific minimum CGPA where listed (e.g. Turkey 3 out of 4); admission then depends on the assessment of individual preparation (portfolio, CV, motivation letter, academic record) and the position in the merit ranking.
