A.Y. 2026/27 (2027/28 dates not yet published on 27 September 2026). Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

A.Y. 2026/27 (programme page, Educational Rules 2026/27 and AUIC-ING guidelines 2026/27). A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or Building Engineering; a Committee evaluates other backgrounds case by case (required knowledge: mathematics, building physics, structural engineering, construction technology; gaps can be assigned as educational debits). Italian-degree applicants: degree classes L-23, L-7 and L-17 are admitted without curricular debts after career evaluation; graduands may apply with at least 145 credits; there is no automatic admission for 2026/27 and 2027/28; merit score up to 100 (order of preferences up to 10, duration of the bachelor up to 10, bachelor average up to 40, bachelor of origin up to 40), minimum 62/100, ranking within the planned places. Foreign-degree applicants: score up to 100 (suitability/coherence of the previous curriculum up to 70, duration of university education up to 10, order of preferences up to 10, other supporting documents up to 10), weighted 50% with the International Projects Office (SPI) grade based on academic performance and institution quality; minimum 62/100; the degree must give access to EQF level 7 and Polimi's strict country-specific minimum CGPA applies where one is set (e.g. India 70/100, China 80%, Bangladesh 3.3/4). Applicants choose the programme together with their preferred track; the first track choice is considered first.

A.Y. 2027/28 (Admissions Office list 'updated for A.Y. 2027/2028'). An English certificate is required for all MSc applicants: TOEFL iBT / TOEFL Home Edition at least 78 for tests taken until 20/01/2026 or at least 4.5 for tests taken from 21/01/2026 (paper-based at least 547, computer-based at least 210; Polimi TOEFL code 9795); TOEIC at least 785 Listening & Reading + at least 310 Speaking & Writing; Cambridge Proficiency or Advanced pass at grade C, First pass at grade B; IELTS Academic or General Training at least 6; Trinity College ISE II or higher; PTE Academic overall at least 59; Pearson PEIC overall at least 59; LanguageCert ESOL B2 Communicator (4 skills). Certificates considered expired by the issuing institution are not accepted. Exemption: a bachelor degree taught in English for at least 3 years, proven by a university document confirming that at least 75% of the courses were taught in English. Foreign-degree applicants: the certificate is not needed to submit the application, but it is mandatory to obtain the admission letter, merit scholarships, the visa and to enrol. Italian-degree applicants (AUIC School): English must be proven by the time of the application, otherwise the application is not evaluated. Italian: the Admissions Office requires an Italian B2 certificate (CLIQ institutions) from foreign-degree applicants to programmes taught in Italian or in Italian and English, and the 2026/27 Educational Rules state that international students need knowledge of Italian in addition to English, with no distinction between tracks; no English-track exemption is published for this programme, so whether English-track applicants are in practice exempt is not confirmed . Separately, all students with a foreign qualification must prove Italian language proficiency in order to graduate (this is not an entry requirement): either upload an Italian B2 certificate issued by an institution recognised by the Italian Ministry of University upon enrolment, or attend Polimi's free Italian course and pass its exit test (a minimum score is required).

  • It is not confirmed whether applicants to the English-taught tracks must present an Italian B2 certificate at admission: the 2026/27 Educational Rules (section 6.1) say international students also need knowledge of Italian, but that paragraph names another programme (Architectural Engineering), and the Admissions Office requires Italian B2 for programmes taught in Italian or in Italian and English without publishing an English-track exemption for this programme.
  • Track languages differ between official sources: the Polimi programme page lists two Italian-taught tracks (BES-S, BES-D) and two English-taught tracks (BES-F, BES-M), while the 2026/27 Educational Rules and the programme website (www.bes.polimi.it) say Digital Construction is taught in English (one track in Italian and three in English).
  • Places for international students: the 2026/27 places page gives 75 extra-EU places in the English track and 10 in the Italian track, while the programme website says there are 50 positions for international students (September intake only, no year stated). The figures shown come from the dated 2026/27 places page.
  • Degree classes admitted without curricular debts: the AUIC 2026/27 admission guidelines list L-23, L-7 and L-17 for all tracks, while the programme website limits L-7 to the BES-S and BES-D tracks and L-17 to the BES-F and BES-M tracks. The information shown follows the dated 2026/27 guidelines.
  • No A.Y. 2027/28 application calls or dates had been published by 27 September 2026. Deadlines, places, documents and admission rules are for A.Y. 2026/27 and will change when Politecnico di Milano publishes the 2027/28 calendar; only the list of accepted English certificates is already the one updated for A.Y. 2027/28. The AUIC School has announced that the first-semester 2026/27 ranking lists published on 3 September 2026 will not be updated; any second-semester places will be announced later.
  • The second-semester window for applicants with an Italian degree (7-18 January 2027) opens only if places remain after the first-semester intake.
  • For A.Y. 2026/27 the Polimi language page also accepted TOEIC 720 Listening & Reading for tests registered by 28 February 2026; the list updated for A.Y. 2027/28 keeps only 785 Listening & Reading plus 310 Speaking & Writing.
